I had two of the "License to Kolsch" which was of course, a crisp, clean and refreshing Kölsch that made up for the earlier not-so-great meal. At 8pm on Saturday, it was a fun and friendly spot. Oh my! Some incredible brews and the most amazing staff. I had a flight that included a light and citrusy (tangerine and orange notes) pale ale called Billet. A tasty west coast IPA called Patchy's Remedy. Hoppy and bitter for sure along with amazing grapefruit flavor. They include the juice and peels in the brewing process. Next was the Bloody Mary Gose. Oh my gosh! Slightly sour and flavored just like your favorite brunch cocktail. Nothing short of spectacular! Finally, my favorite...You Have Feelings, a double hazy IPA with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops. This one hits all the flavor profiles of a double. Rich, citrus, and bitter with a bit of pine in the background. I forgot to mention, you can enjoy all these beers and throw axes. That's right, axe throwing and craft beer. Stop #2 for my buds Birthday charade. Heard from his wife that he's never done the Ace throwing bit. We've just about done everything together as pals. Gun range, golf, bar hop, drive long distances, etc,etc. I am just glad I was able christen him onto something new. At least this time they serve beer here. The first time I went to an axe throwing target shooting place was at BIG WOODS GOODS. They don't provide libations. But altogether it was a great time. Here they do, if you purchase a reservation on line you get a free drink voucher for you and your wingman... For an hour of sloppy throwing and manning up to see who's the best in weaponry harnessing. It was good to see that there were different games to be played. Okay, people are sleeping on this cozy little brewery in Marietta! The staff are super friendly. The drinks are great. The atmosphere is fun and casual and not super crowded like some of the other breweries ITP. PLUS, they offer axe throwing! There are a few less dangerous games there too like chess and foos ball, but the axe throwing is definitely worth it. You get instructions and guidance from the staff and then you get to practice. Wear closed toe shoes!! And you reserve your spot online. I believe they do take walk ins, but that's only if they have open spots. Don't risk not being able to do it!! I came here a few years ago when I first moved to the area and the joint was just getting started with some of their naughty sodas, but boy has it grown since then. What once was a little room that fit 10-15 people became a place where multiple groups can congregate. If you're looking for a place to grab a drink, watch a game, and just relax with friends, I highly suggest this place. read more

Stopped in with some co-workers while in ATL for work and wished we would have stayed longer. This place is very cool and has a little something for everyone. There is axe throwing, foosball, Nintendo, and lots of other games. We enjoyed the laid back vibe here, and I especially loved the wall of plants and succulents. First time here at Ironmonger and it's definitely a fun place to have some beer while throwing some axes. The staff was very friendly although I felt there was too many people during these times the staff still made sure to follow all the Covid safe guidelines. Didn't really have time to taste all of their beers but we did order a variety of them and were able to try a few of them. I did wish they had a little bit of a larger variety of beers . In the end, we enjoyed a fun relaxed afternoon here at Ironmonger. This was my first time axe throwing and it was such a great experience! I paid $25 for a one hour shared lane experience and one free drink and it was probably the best $25 I spent! I came with a friend and we thought we'd have to be sharing one lane with a bunch of people, but I don't know if we got lucky or something but we each got our own lane so it was ax throwing for an hour straight! It was so much fun and the music was good, the beer was good, and the people were super nice and helpful! I would recommend this to anyone and it's a great location for parties. Ironmonger has been remodeled and I love it! The space is open and bright with a plant wall. There are several tvs on the wall, perfect for football season. The tap room is pet friendly along with the staff. Much better experience this time then back in the Naughty Soda days. I was there on a Sunday and it was a good crowd. You can order single pours or a flight of 4 small pours. They have various styles from ipas, sours and stouts. All very approachable and easy drinking so you can try a few and not fall off the bar stool. I will add that they need to get some normal size chairs. Sure I have some junk in my trunk but even a nice size gentleman would find the chairs difficult to sit in. It's a brewery not an airplane, we need room! Otherwise Ironmonger is great! Had a great time at Ironmonger Brewing taproom and axe throwing. From the outside this place doesn't look like much. But inside just cool farm like setting with axe throwing in the back. There were games throughout the taproom including old school Nintendo which included donkey Kong and Mario brothers. We had a blast playing Nintendo. I wish I had tried more beers but only had their went fast didn't die. It wasn't bad, refreshing. But I wanted to try their lagers and witbier. Definitely will return. My husband and I also did their axe throwing. A quick 5min tutorial/intro from one of the staff and then we had an hour of axe throwing. It was fun. Overall, this place is a gem in Marietta. I have to stop here every time I come to the area for chiropractic seminars (2 years). Love seeing hOw much you are growing! Beers are always great! Love that you now have axe throwing! Disappointed we couldn't get in. Would be nice if they have 30 min and 60 min sessions since people slow waaayyy down. Still love this place!! Ironmonger is your standard modern industrial style brewery. I ordered the Blillet Blood Orange Pale Ale and the But It Goes To 11 IPA. They weren't bad or amazing they just were pretty average. They also are in the seltzer game, so they got four different options if you're not into beers. They got the axe throwing in the back. You can make an appointment on line and $25 per person and you share a lane. Which isn't bad at all if you're tired of Jenga or board games. Cosmetic wise, there's not much to look at in the space. Just white walls and that's about it. To me it's just not a special brewery to remember but I think you'll be okay with the beers and the selection. read more

Maybe it's because this is my first brewery trip since COVID, but this place feels like a hidden gem. Maybe I'm late to the party, but Ironmonger is making some amazing beer. I had the hazy double IPA, You Have Friends?, the Czech Pilsner, Checkm8, and the pale ale, Kiss My Axe. All 3 were well above average. I'm beginning to really appreciate these breweries that just set up shop in an inauspicious strip mall that open up to a really cool space. Ironmonger is one of those. You'll easily find free parking, and the seating is plentiful and fun. They've got tables, high-tops, and couches. As well as plenty of TVs, board games, foos ball and Nintendo Also. axe throwing by appointment and they share a space with Viking Alchemist Meadery. (A seperate company but they are friendly.). . If you're looking for low-key, this is for you. Good vibe but not a ton going on in there. Walked in to a welcoming pup (hung with us a lot that day), dogs allowed. No food, only bags of pretzels offered for purchase. A couple games inside by the counter (Connect 4 and Jenga). Cool vibe on their woodwork. Simple, if you had an issue but you still had fun, that's still 5 stars. If you don't want them to close and do want their staff and families to continue to pay their bills, 5 stars. By all means be honest in your feedback, it will help businesses be better, for sure. SUPER FUN! We really enjoyed axe throwing. It was our very first time doing it and the workers there were super nice and so encouraging! They showed you how to throw and gave you tips and cheered you on. After a couple throws you get the hang of it. The beers were really good and the overall setup and atmosphere was awesome. The Spins are playing with Lisa Hatt Bomar on vocals as I sit and enjoy my fresh, ice cold beer on this relaxed Friday night. For a minimal $12 cover I am in Hotlanta heaven at Naughty Soda. I am not normally a beer girl but when I heard that the Spins were playing a live show I called a girlfriend of mine to meet me so we could enjoy the music, the beer and the atmosphere. The best bartender in the ATL--CLINT--hooked me up with my very first (and second) Cinnamon Shine. Super cold, super delicious. If I cannot find the Spins here again I know I can find Clint ;) Naughty Soda is a really eclectic local venue that I absolutely love. The live music is always a plus, but the drinks don't hurt. I know if I am flying solo I can drop in and find some one cool to kick it with on any lazy ATL night. Ok. I found THE ABSOLUTE BEST BEER in Marietta! They are still young on the craft beer scene (public debut 5 months ago...but brewing for 16 years and it shows). I guarantee you they will be playing with The big Boys soon! I thought they were just "Naughty Soda" which is not my style ( but they were really refreshing and has a definite market) but I learned they are also "IronMonger"...and I am hooked! Every single offering (and there were many) were absolutely perfect. They are still small but what is so refreshing is their quirky tasting room is a joy to hangout in. Please give them a try. Even if you have to drive far...you won't be disappointed. Cheers! UPDATE: not that Naughty Soda is noting what happens on YELP or social media but the "real" beer aka IronMonger was horrific this time. At one point I thought I was drinking pinesol.
