I like this spot. The folks are friendly - and they stay open a little later than some of the spots closer to my home. Thanks to that concrete median on Austell Rd - it can be a little tricky turning into their parking lot (usually involves a U turn when I'm coming from my house). The prices are pretty comparable to places in the immediate radius - so this is the spot I usually hit up if I need 1 or 2 bottles of adult beverages LAST MINUTE - otherwise - I will always make the drive to Big A's Bottle Shop on S Marietta Parkway. They are also open a little later than some of the other liquor / package stores - usually by about 30 minutes. read more

Good place, with friendly staff. Great hours. Good selection, given the small size of the store... The younger kid that works there ripped me off, once. pushed my to buy the 1.75 of stoli, instead of the 1lr of cheaper stuff. He said he would add in a 6pk of stoli ginger beer for FREE, if i upgraded to the 1.75 of stoli. I looked at the receipt and prices per bottle, later that night...and realized that HE CHARGED ME FOR THE GINGER BEER!!! Smooth talking liar! I FREQUENTLY shop this place, and they know who i am. They run a good buisness. read more

Such a convenient place. Great location. Great hours. Great selections. I wouldn't go here for specialty wine but as far as liquor goes, they have several options. I was able to find everything I was looking for and more for really great prices read more

My Som and I, went in to this store. My Son is 21 and I am an adult. I WAS PURCHASING two small bottles, one hypnotic, one Hennessy. My Son had the exact amount on Apple Pay. So I asked him if I could use his because mine would not scan correctly. The young person behind the counter began yelling at my Son "get out , you have to get out !" I said "get out, why ?". Because he has no idea !". My Son explains you don't have to yell, your really doing to much". I'm NOT a huge drinker I thought I'd relax a little better. WONT EVER BE GOING BACK TO PLACES THAT DO NOT RESPECT AFRICAN AMERICAN PEOPLE! Thanks for the experience AL,s Liquor Austell Rd. read more

I've been here a few times. The staff is always nice and the prices are okay, but on 3 separate Saturdays I have made a trip specifically to come here a little after 10:00am and they haven't been open. Today was the last straw. The sign and website say they open at 9:30am on Saturday. It's really frustrating to arrive and have the place not be open when its supposed to be. This place is closer to my house than East West package, but I'll be going there from now on. The guy that owns East West package is friendly, the prices are about the same and I'd rather go out of my knowing he will be there and I won't have to turn around and go some place else. read more

Cuban Diner caught my attention because I saw an ad for them on social media. As a first generation Cuban-American born and raised in Miami and married to a Cuban man, I am happy to report that Cuban Diner is the real deal. This is authentic Cuban food that is as good as the Cuban food easily found all over Miami. We started with croquetas and mariquitas. I ordered the bistec empanizado, hubby ordered the vaca frita, my son ordered the ropa vieja, my MIL orders the palomilla, and my FIL ordered a papa rellena and tamal along with a natural guava juice. We all shared bites of our plates with each other and everyone agreed that everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the vaca frita, so I stole a good bit from hubby and I also loved my FIL's guava juice. Service was good, but we got there shortly after opening so we had the place to ourselves. We noticed as it got busier, service definitely slowed considerably, but there was only one server for the whole place and one more handling to go orders. The one server did a fantastic job despite being the only one for multiple tables, but I did notice one couple left in frustration when they were not attended in a timely manner. I loved that they offer a total of 3 sides with the entrees, so you don't have to compromise on sides. I really enjoyed our meal and will be back to try more things on their menu soon. I definitely recommend Cuban Diner, but urge you to pack your patience if you go when there is a crowd. The good news is that the food will be well worth the wait!
