Spartan's President, Victor, surveyed the property and gave us an estimate and timeline. Who knew that there were so many issues involved with installing an irrigation system; Multiple permits, a property survey, flagging for underground pipes and complex outdoor plumbing. Victor coordinated all activities and made sure everything was done correctly. The system is installed, controlled by a modern mobile app and works like a charm. It so happened that before Spartan left, We had a plumbing leak caused by a loose connection behind a wall from our upstairs bathroom causing water to drip through the ceiling. One of Spartan's crew diagnosed the problem, fixed the leak and patched the ceiling so that it looks better than before. Great people, top-flight, professional service. At 2:30 I reached out to…read moreConserva Irrigation for information regarding his whereabouts and they said they'd give him a call. No further communication after that and no plumber ever came. Winterization of our irrigation system needed to be canceled because RPZ valve inspection requires working system to test and it has not been tested. A waste of a day waiting and poor communication and follow through. There's plenty of irrigation companies in this area so no need to deal with a poorly managed company.

We've had a really bad experience with VLS. We used them for the first time last fall to winterize…read moreour sprinkler system. When it was time to turn on the system this spring we noticed that after they had blown compressed air to clear the water they must not have replaced whatever seals off the system (cap/valve?) so water just gushed out. After I contacted them they said they routinely take the part with them so 'water has somewhere to go'. They now say they did not remove anything (and I definitely didn't, and no-one else has touched the system since the autumn) and are refusing to remedy the situation. The owner (Arthur) is extremely rude and used the 'F' word on me. Rude, unprofessional, and unreliable. I would look elsewhere. I offered him the chance to make things right before I posted online reviews and I believe that's the point he hung up on me.
