The owner is initially very friendly and give good recommendations. Unfortunately, the quality is not so great. I did a windshield tint on Tesla Y. When I picked up the car, there are many pockets of water across the windshield. I was told these spots would disappear over night, so I accepted the car. However, while pockets are gone, they leave some minor ripple around that are noticeable when you are seeing objects in the distance. I showed the car to the owner after a week and the owner don't recognize any defects and blame it on the windshield. I asked him if I could have tint removed to proof that but the owner says he will charge $150 for removal. I showed the car to the other shop, and they recognized the issue immediately stating that the tint is likely defected and looks low quality (looks grainy). Even the cost of removal of the windshield tint is much cheaper than what this shop offer. I won't recommend this shop if you are looking for high quality service/products. read more

But after the owner swears at you and tries to cheat you an extra few hundred dollars over the agreed-upon price, you gotta write it up. Kwang lied about the final price of doing my car after we agreed to $500. He also damaged part of my car, did not tell me, and after I discovered some broken parts, he tried to blame it on the age of the car. The left window he did revealed to have bumps on it after the chemical dried. He only offered to fix it after I showed it to him in person, but then, after waiting 9 hours, he didn't end up replacing it. Worst retail car shop experience of my life. I've owned over 40 vehicles in my lifetime. One thing that's mandatory is getting each of my vehicles tinted. I've lived in various cities within OC and Riverside County, and therefore I've had many experiences dealing with tint shops. It was during my time living in Temecula where I knew tint was a must! With some places, they promote the computer cut technology, and what I learned is that those leave gaps on the window outline. When I first met Kwang, it was maybe 10 years ago. He cuts by hand, and he definitely is good at his craft. At the time, I was only into the 3M tint films, and he had reasonable pricing. Flash forward a couple years, and my wife got a brand new 2015 Genesis sedan. Kwang was the first person that came to mind, so when I stopped by his shop he suggested about trying a new film he's exploring - Rayno. This was the first time I went with a different brand film, but the product was based on the latest technology - nano carbon ceramic. Overall, I was completely satisfied with his recommendation and to this day he's been installing Rayno S9 on all my vehicles. What's sad is that even though I'm having him install the best (on all windows - including the windshield), I typically keep my vehicles between 3-18 months before trading/selling - then buying a new one. But there's no one I trust more than Kwang. I've recommended him to friends, family and work colleagues. His pricing is very reasonable and he's also very knowledgeable with almost every vehicle. read more

I've had 3 cars done here over the years, starting back when they were still on Via Fabricante. Had my Avalon done in 2008 and the tint still looks as good as it did the day he did it. Recently took in my Mini Cooper Clubman for tinting. Called him for a rough estimate, and made an appointment for a Saturday morning at 8. When I came in he'd remembered me from the last time I was in. It took him about 3 hours to get the Clubman done and again, the quality is spot on, no blemishes or bubbles. Looks great. He takes care to tape over your window controls so you don't accidentally lower it before it's dry. As others have said it's a mom & pop shop, but they are friendly and obviously take pride in their work. There are a couple of chairs to wait in and free waters or soda, but I'd recommend dropping the car or planning on walking to Panera or Buffalo Wild Wings for a few hours. read more

I been coming here for over 10 years. Normally I have no complaints. This time I felt I was over charged , plus we had some trim after market on the back 2 doors that he removed saying they came off when they were cleaning these were about 12 inches below the window and about 12 inches long. There is no way they just fell off. He handed them to me at the counter. I will never recommend this guy again there are to many other shops out there that do a good job . 400 bucks for a Honda Civic just to much in my opinion plus he damaged the car. I took my one month old Tesla Model 3 here to install 3M Pro Paint Protection Film (PPF) on the rear portion of the car. The front portion PPF was previously installed by another shop. The rear portion includes the 4 doors, pillars, rear quarter panels, rocker panels, trunk, and rear bumper. Kwang (the owner) did an excellent job on the PPF installation. 8/20 Update: I had the tint installed today. I am very very happy. The owner knew exactly what he was doing. I arrived at 8am and waited... Three hours later and it looks PERFECT. He said volkswagens are tough to do but he made it look easy. I went with 35% Viper tint on sides as front because I hate mismatch and 15% on the back. This ceramic tint will keep the car cool and looks great. Not too dark. I found this to be the best place I have ever tinted my car at. Which I could give this business and its manager ten stars. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly man who was the owner . He went through all the details of the different tinting packages and the key pros/cons. He quoted me three hour wait time and literally finished exactly on the three hour mark. I love that the price that is displayed is the actual price so when you pay they don't add any xtra fees or tax. He reminded me to wait here days before the windows can be put down .
