Rating: 4.75/5 I recently had my Subaru tinted with Llumar FormulaOne "Stratos" series at Tint Plus, and overall, I'm really happy with the experience. From the start, the initial call was helpful, and I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. The manager was great--he was patient, informative, and really took the time to walk me through the options. I opted for the higher-end Stratos series, with 70% tint on the windshield and sunroof, and 30% on the sides. I went with the 30% on the sides for a good balance between looks and function, though in hindsight, I might have gone with a 40% or 50% just to reduce the chance of being pulled over. But that's a subjective decision, and I can still see fine at night with the 30%, so it works. After having the Stratos for a while, I'll admit that I didn't notice as much of a difference as I expected between it and a high-quality ceramic film. If I were to do it again, I'd probably consider going with their regular ceramic for the side windows and keep the Stratos on the windshield and sunroof, where it does feel like a noticeable upgrade in terms of heat rejection and clarity. There were some small air bubbles in the tint, particularly on the sunroof, but I gave it a little time. When they didn't go away, I gave the shop a call. They were really accommodating, and the manager had no hesitation in bringing me in to replace the sunroof tint. I appreciate how they handled this--it's hard to get tint perfect every time (unless you're working in a clean room), but they were eager to make sure I was satisfied, which goes a long way in my book. One minor hiccup was that the price I was quoted online was a bit different than what I was told in the shop. The website has some helpful details, but it showed a car sunroof (rather than a small SUV), which resulted in a higher price. Not a huge deal, and I understand that things can get mixed up, especially with a newer website. When I brought it up in-store, they gave me an upfront quote that was just a little higher than expected (maybe around $70 more), but they were clear about it, and they also offer a nice military veteran discount. I didn't push them to honor the online price because I felt the situation was understandable and fair. Another nice touch was that they use professional software for invoicing, which I didn't see at another shop I've worked with in the past. It adds a level of professionalism that I really appreciated. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, with a waiting area and a restroom. I liked that they had a display showing all their tint options, plus a helpful booklet with examples, so I could see how different tints would look in my car before making a final choice. When I came back for the replacement tint, I was told it would take about an hour. However, I didn't hear anything for a few hours, so I called and was informed that the job was actually done and ready. A small communication hiccup, but no big deal--just something to keep in mind. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect 5-star (4.75 out of 5, though I did round up) review is the small price discrepancy, the initial bubble issue, and the slight difference I noticed with the Stratos compared to ceramic, but considering how quickly they addressed everything and how great the overall experience was, I'm still very satisfied. They truly care about customer service, and I'd definitely recommend Tint Plus if you're looking for a quality tint job with fair pricing, professional service, and great attention to detail. read more

Dominique is quick to respond to E-mail with pricing and questions, and he's friendly and knowledgeable also when you meet him in person. TintPlus cares about their quality of work and their customers. They've done amazing job tinting my vehicles and in the case of the 1st car that I brought here 5 years ago, the front PPF looked amazing. What I appreciate most from here is that they're understanding and entertained my OCD. I had my Rivian tinted over a year ago and now that I've moved to a colder area and have been using the defroster I found out one of the lines was not working. Rivian service says the line was cut at the edge of the tint and resulted in a window replacement. Tint Plus said the tint is cut on a plotter and not the window, though it's possible that other things could possibly damage it. In any case, it wasn't tested at the time and hard to prove who is right. Be sure to make sure yours works before and after! read more

My experience with Tint Plus Automotive and its owner Jeff, was outstanding.  I had bubbling in my Llumar tinted windows that I put on my 2001 BMW 325 from a different shop many years ago.  Tint Plus came up as an authorized dealer for Llumar when I went to Llumar's website, and Jeff worked to get the warranty covered (even though they don't carry the same tint I had put on my car years ago).  I just had the replacement done this week and so far it looks great!  The shop is large, and very clean, and they have a comfortable seating area with wi-fi.  The store manager Dominic was efficient and very informative when I came into have the work done, and I have only good things to say about Jeff and Tint Plus!   On a further note, my other BMW has a Formula One tint that with a lifetime warranty that was installed over 20 years ago and is now peeling -- the tint is not even made anymore.  Jeff is working with me to get the tint covered by the manufacturer and figure out which type we can put on.  He goes over and above for his customers.  I will be back and referring my friends and family to this shop if they need tint applied to their cars.  I think they do protective car wraps and things like that as well!  Great experience! read more

Very disappointed on the work that was delivered... I brought in my 2025 Toyota Corolla GR brand new for a stratos windshield tint. The next day after the work was done, we noticed couple bubbles around the dot matrix and as the days passed it didn't go away. We took it back to the shop, they tried to fix it but it got worse. One of front guys said, "that he thinks they shouldn't remove it because it looks great". Clearly his judgement was wrong as you can see in the picture. According to them, there's nothing else they can do and I strongly believe that if a business knows what they're doing and understand the risks of doing certain services, they shouldn't provide that service from the start or at least let the customer know about the possibilities. The job was paid for and we couldn't get a refund nor half of our money back. Previously, my friend brought in his 2019 Audi S5 to tint all windows including the windshield and it was done great which is the reason why I brought in my GR. read more

After talking with them, they answered all my questions and were very helpful. I have taken a total of 5 cars here and every single one has came with no issues of bubbles, purpling, etc (the oldest tint was done in 2014-15 range and still flawless). Jeff is very responsive to emails about prices. Each visit the staff was very friendly and gave clear instructions on the care of the tint.
