Pete was especially awesome and didn't rush me as I crawled under the car and poked around everywhere to check out the car. Even during the test drive, he didn't try to upsell the car. Not to mention, despite not being a Jeep dealership, Pete graciously let me have my first rubber duck, complete with a beanie and sunglasses, and Pete was knowledgeable about the car and even showed us how to use the transfer case shifter. Very easygoing and no high pressure. Even though we came towards the very end of the day on a Friday, not a single person from this dealership that we interacted with had that "oh god we're almost closing and it's Friday and you're here so late" look (or at least if they did, we did not notice it at all!) that we've gotten before. The dealership was clean as well and extra clean bathrooms are always a nice plus. But I'm sure what you care about is price, and that's what brought us to this dealership in the first place too. Warning to anyone considering Irwin for engine or powertrain work. Irwin is a Toyota dealership. Certified technicians. Factory training. The whole pitch. They performed a short block engine replacement on my 2024 Tundra. After experiencing a no-start and full cascade of electrical failures, I brought the truck to another Toyota dealer for diagnosis. Their finding was immediate and unambiguous -- Irwin left a nut off the junction block during reassembly. The junction block is part of the truck's entire power supply. A certified Toyota dealer confirmed Irwin's assembly error caused the failure. I called Irwin asking them to cover the diagnostic cost. Under $500. They said no. Their defense was that nine months had passed. I asked them twice to explain specifically how a missing fastener from their engine work could have any other cause. They couldn't answer. Their director had already signed off on the denial before I even called. A fellow Toyota dealer confirmed their mistake. They still wouldn't cover $500. This is a dealership that left a critical fastener out of an engine reassembly, had another Toyota dealer confirm it in writing, and still refused to take responsibility for the diagnostic cost. They'll do the work, and if something goes wrong, they'll run the clock and leave you with the bill. If you're paying dealership prices expecting dealership accountability, keep looking. read more

We signed for a car Saturday at Irwin in Laconia and put down deposit because it wouldn't be ready till mid week because it still had to go through the shop. we followed up mid week and first were told it will be another week. When I asked to speak to sales manager he called me back and said that they aren't going to sell it. There is too much to fix on it, we are just going to send it to whole sale. I asked why would you have it on your website for sale with a price agreed on and signed contract by us and back out now because you realized we were going to cut too far into your sales profit??? One of the worst dealerships I've ever dealt with. They don't respond to emails or offers even though they have a MAKE AN OFFER button right on their page. I tried for 2 days to put a deposit on an F150, only to be told that the car has been claimed by someone else and we won't be taking your offer. Even though I was the first to make an offer TWO DAYS before. I spent 2 days talking to them, sending in paperwork and copies of documents, and they turn around and give the car to someone else. No apology, no offer to make it right and honor the original deal. Really scummy shenanigans like low grade dealers you typically avoid at all costs. Kristina and Zachary should be retrained in their jobs because they cost you business. Not replying to a customer requesting information or requesting to PURCHASE a vehicle is not a way to do business. Never again. Avoid avoid avoid. Their word means nothing. I got car in for an inspection and they had to replace the fuel pump the same time when we left afterwards. Our front tire has been going flat every 3 days since we left the garage with it.. move forward weeks later we have to bring a car back for another inspection... It took almost an hour and tried to say it was our bulb because we could only come in on a Saturday because why cuz we work during the week... So after paying $1,200 for a new fuel pump and a sticker and wasting half of our morning to get a real sticker instead of a safety sticker we left, there was still the same tire problem with it being low which I blame them for because we didn't have a problem with the tire until we left their garage a few weeks ago... When you pay tens of thousands of dollars for a car, you don't expect to get naked and dimed to death and try to get blame for being your fault, but that they can't that they're crafted together... Harry or the guy in the front doesn't know his head from his ass.. when my wife spoke to him on the phone she told him about the tire and he says he doesn't remember. So here's a guy who was frazzled on the phone and didn't listen to half of what she said. Tried to blame her like she never sent anything and then tried to blame us because we could only come here on a Saturday. That's why we had to wait forever...
