I have never purchased a used vehicle online much less from a dealer 1,500 miles away from me. This meant I would not be able to see the car in person nor test drive it. For me I would be placing complete trust in the dealer. As we all know, used car dealers usually have a poor reputation but Cupples Car Company is definitely the exception to that rule. Ross Cupples, the owner, is wonderful to deal with. Ross is honest, professional and knowledgeable. You can immediately tell that Ross is a man with integrity who cares about his customers and wants them to be happy. Ross is hands down the best car dealer I have ever dealt with (new or used). Ross is not a high pressure salesman and made the entire buying process enjoyable. Since I was not close by I communicated with Ross mostly through email and, even though I'm sure he was busy with other customers, he would took the time to email me back very promptly and address any questions or concerns I had. Ross was very helpful every step of the way which meant so much to me given my distance from the dealership. I placed my trust in Ross and was not disappointed. I would highly recommend Ross Cupples and his dealership if you're in the market for a used car. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a vehicle again from Ross. Thank you Ross for everything!

We paid a processing fee for them to do it for us- which they assured us they would handle. Not only did they not handle it, but I had to be the one to facilitate figuring it out after multiple texts and phone calls back-and-forth. If I hadn't reached out, who knows when they would have gotten around to it. This is both negligent and completely against the law. MA law states they have 7 calendar days to get it done. Our salesman repeatedly told me I was incorrect and it was 7 business days. If a dealership is not familiar with other state laws and rules, they have no business selling to those residents. We also left with the vehicle that Saturday being told they have everything that they needed to process. This was also incorrect and only rectified as I was the one texting back-and-forth with the salesman.... Sometimes days in between responses. Irwin has offered no solutions other than saying that they are "sorry for the frustration" and could provide a loaner car, expecting our new car to sit in the driveway until it was processed- no promised date. ...but couldn't expedite anything- even if they would be well over 2 weeks since purchase. We are essentially paying for a new vehicle we can't use, and could be cited for driving due to their inability to do their job. I requested my sales tax and their processing fee to be returned to me as I would register the car myself, and I was denied as supposedly it is already "processed" on their end, but they cannot tell me when they will actually complete it with the MA RMV.

On May 21, I brought my 2018 Volvo to Irwin Chevrolet for an oil change and four-wheel alignment…read more I requested that the tire pressure not be adjusted. I have my own calibrated air pump; I check my tire pressure periodically and whenever there is a significant temperature change. Every time I do this, I go into the "My Volvo" feature and have the system recalibrate the tire pressure. Vovo recommends 38 psi for my car; I always run 40 psi for a firmer ride, so that's the pressure I set the calibration to recognize. After being serviced by Irwin Chevrolet, a dashboard caution came on indicating dangerously low tire pressure. A check of the tire pressures revealed that the Irwin Chevrolet shop, despite my request not to adjust the pressure, had reduced it to 38 psi, triggering the caution. Irwin Chevrolet also performed a rotation and charged for it, although I had not requested one. When I complained, I was told that including these services and the associated charges was General Motors policy. In the past, I have had my Volvo (and two earlier Volvos and two Volkswagens) serviced at what is now NUCAR in Tilton. At NUCAR, my requests were always honored. I see no reason to patronize IRWIN CHEVROLET in the future if its employees are unable to honor customer requests.

Alan the owner and his wife helped us, and we ended up purchasing a relatively low-mileage one owner Camry - exactly the kind of car we had in mind. My husband and I were eyeing more expensive small SUV's, but for our needs ( we are only in the lakes region during the summer so we don't have to deal with NH winters), the Camry was a better fit AND a lot less expensive. Alan said that he'd be happy to sell us the more expensive 4WD SUV's but steered us to the Camry. BTW Alan told us he's been selling cars for 50's. He's awesome. In all the years of buying used cars, I think this car purchase was the quickest most hassle-free car-buying experience we've ever had. I think we were in and out of Young's in less than an hour, including taking two cars for test drives (going back later today for the completed paperwork). Painless. Recommend Young's and Alan!

They are honest, informed and stand behind their cars after the sale is complete. They are great to work with and will help steer you in the right direction when needed. The cars they sell are pre inspected. As you drive up the first thing you will notice is the quality of the selection. They in fact, take great pride in the automobiles they sell. It's my opinion they get a kick out of obtaining and selling unique or cool motor vehicles. Even when I'm not in the market I check out the lot when I drive by. My wife and I recently bought a car from Joe. We liked the car talked about price and we agreed on…read morea good and fair price for both parties. Joe told us the credit union they use offered us an interest rate just over 7%. Can't remember exactly but it was less than 8%. It took some work to satisfy the finance company with some proofs of income and whatnot but all was settled and we went back for the car the following week. We thought Joe was a personable guy and liked him but that was to our detriment. We stupidly signed the financing paperwork trusting what he told us was correct. Later when setting up our payments to the finance company we realized the interest rate was not ~7% but 18%!! WTF?!?! If he had told us that or if we actually read the contract (which is our fault entirely) we would have never gone on with the purchase. We feel totally stupid for trusting this guy and are now paying the price. Literally. Read everything you sign. I know that should be obvious but we clearly didn't and it will cost us an extra $2500.
