However, I was informed at approximately 12:30 pm that they would be there within 2 hours (2:33 pm). At ~3:30 pm, I called this company to make sure they weren't lost or confused to where I was. They woman I spoke with assured me the guy was coming, he had been at a family function and would be there shortly. I actually apologized that he had to leave. She stated that they were available 24/7 for emergencies and not to worry about it. At 4:45 pm, I called again and got no answer... No one ever showed up or called. The next day, I received assistance from my out of state rv repair person 2 1/2 hours away! Now, 2 days later, wondering if anyone there wonders what happened to me!! Very disappointed in this non-service!!!

The next day he told me nothing was wrong with my car? I made him drive it again and he called saying the check engine light came on again, and it was the crankshaft (shocker). He still charged me for the labor he DID NOT put into in to discover the problem I ALREADY KNEW that it had. Charged me outrageously for an $80 part and ordered the wrong one, he had to keep my car there through the weekend. Don't go through Pete and don't go to Keytown.

The parts were not on hand and had to be ordered which took some time and rolled into my vacation out of state. They were very understanding and contacted me after my vacation to make arrangements for me to get my car back. My parents, both deceased now, relied on Sanborn's for all of their vehicle maintenance for over 30 years. As an aside, I'm pretty sure it would have cost me at least double for these repairs at the dealership.

A woman was there also waiting. Her car was completed about 30-40 minutes later. In the meantime two other customers arrived. At 2:15 both of their cars were completed (also for tire repairs) and I'm still sitting there. I asked for an update and someone checked and said it would be 15 more minutes. I asked why people that came in after me were already completed. I was told the techs they were assigned must have finished their previous vehicles quicker. I finally left at 2:38. So it doesn't matter if you have an appointment, it's which tech they assign you to! It certainly isn't in a first come first serve process! So, hope that the tech you are "assigned" has easier vehicle repairs before yours!

I tip the attendant and I'm very pleased with the service. But more and more the attendant isn't present during business hours. Yet the cost of the wash is the same and the results are (slightly) inferior. I'm guessing that this is partly due to staffing issues but overall I tend not to wash the car when no attendant is present. I'm glad the company pays attention and responds to the Yelp reviews and would appreciate a response.

Of course we didn't have any so I had to go out and find it. The first place had only contractor sized containers, so I drove on to Aubuchon who did have a regular size bottle of the orange cleaner. After several scrubbings its mostly off. The owner apologized but offered no refund or free future clean for my troubles. Not a pleasant car cleaning experience. Next time I'll go to Extreme Clean.

This is the best place I have ever been for service on my car. I had heard about them from friends, but until recently had not tried them out. I wish I had sooner. Bill, explained what my problem was in terms I could understand without making me feel like an idiot, then detailed what needed to be done to fix the problem and the cost. I was impressed! My other garage had worked on this problem for months and never got it fixed. After less than an hour, the guys at Mike's found the problem, then it took another hour to fix it, and I was done. And the best part was they actualy fixed the problem, they didn't tell me they tried something, so drive it for a while and see if it is fixed. And the cost was very reasonable. I love this place, and have been back several times since my first visit, always the same service. They now do all my work, from my regular maintenance to other problems if they pop up in the future. I wanted to have 35's put on over my 33's and when I arrived he flat out said he wasn't going to do it. I told them they clear perfectly because I already had them on and there's a lift. He agreed with all my points and said he's not doing it. It was actually a bizarre experience because he wouldn't really say why other than "legal reasons." Except that he thought it was perfectly acceptable to send us out with bald tires in the upcoming snowstorm, with brand new tires in the bed, knowing full well I will never be able to find anyone to swap them before the snow gets here. So take your chances going here and being told to "pound sand," if you have a normal set of mud tires for your truck.

I hopped on yelp and sent Tenney Mountain Auto Repair a message and Patrick (owner and mechanic) responded quickly. I described the issue and he came up with two possibilities, pads and rotors or ball joint. He asked for my VIN# and then sent me an estimate. Very reasonable estimate. Monday (6/20) the car was at his shop ready for work. He took care of the back brakes and then showed me the front. TO paraphrase," The fronts are fine, but they will need to be done soon.. Let me show you.." I want to make this clear, he said it will be fine for now. I decided to get the fronts done also. He got them done.. ALL UNDER ESTIMATE. Patrick was knowledgeable, kind, wicked sense of humor, and answered questions. His shop is clean and comfortable (no fancy waiting room, but you can watch him work on your ride). I will use his shop again, in fact already setting up getting a set of tires mounted as soon as possible. Thanks Pat!!
