This is by far the WORST dental experience I have had. Captain Dental took over my former dentist office and have been horrible. My crown fell off and they had me come in for 3 hours. They took imaging and said they would send it in for a permanent crown. It's 18 days later. No update. My temporary crown fell off and I called over the weekend only to find that there are no notes on my chart, no update, nothing. The receptionist had no clue what I was talking about and I had to tell her what to do - essentially project manage my own care. She called the dentist who saw me, but she could not provide any info. Meanwhile, I am in the middle of treatment and don't have next steps. I called back on Monday, and still no update. If you want to know how to quickly lose loyal patients of 18+ years, just follow what they are doing. read more

My experience with this clinic is very pleasant. Melody (the receptionist) warmly greeted me as I'm a new patient. She checked me in right after my arrival without any waiting. (I also received a welcome gift bag at the end of my first visit) Dr. Yao is extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions & concerns. Dad has no dental insurance coverage. Dr. Yao did a free consultation for him, took 2 X-ray images and didn't charge us for it. All dental services and pricing are transparent on their website, so we went in knowing what to expect with no surprises. The staffs at this clinic are extremely helpful. I made an online appointment for my dad's tooth discomfort at night, the online appointment shows soonest availability is a week later. Dr. Yao's staff called the next day to verify patient information, when I asked them if there are sooner appointments, they squeeze my dad in for same day visit. The clinic was extremely busy when we arrived, the staffs are friendly and welcoming. I noticed the staffs also speak Chinese and Spanish. Yet, the personnel from the other clinic location continues to call my phone to speak about her. My guess is that they're related or had some sort of illegal business/partnership that went sour because of a deleted yelp from myself. I chose to repost my review after the constant harassment from Doris Yao and her businesses. She does not understand that the bigger issue is business fraud, as she adamantly claims it to be. DO NOT TRUST Yao. She stated my reviews are detrimental to her reputation but with all the proof I've gathered through pictures, she is a horrible & untrustworthy business and DDS. They continue to harass me when I've Had an extensive back and fourth with Dr. Yao via messaging on Yelp. I was reaching out regarding another office Dr. Yao was an owner and managing. The office is unethical, unsanitary and have very unprofessionally trained staff. When asked if she had any association with the clinic, she blatantly denied having any affiliation. I had a wonderful experience there, beginning form consult, X-Ray, getting a temporary crown and then the final crown, the whole therapy only take one week, (usually 2 weeks), this is quite effective help. My doctor, Ivy Yang, is professional and taking care about my feelings in the whole processing. The assistant, King, is micromanaged and helped a lot. I've purchased surgical masks and N95 masks from the owner Hang and Doris who are very friendly and easy going. They have earned my trust because they didn't raise the price of the masks at all and I was even informed about their stocking price. I got 20 (N95) masks for $25. Unbelievable price at these day where I can't even find a single one mask at the stores. During this epidemic, they've shown nothing but integrity by donating masks to China and selling the mask at a fairly reasonable price unlike other places. They also earned my respect!!
