Stopped in for ice-cream after having lunch nearby. Such a cute little place! Staff is super friendly and lines move quickly. I ended up ordering the small bowl which consists of two scoops of ice-cream. The double actually has 3-4 scoops! I'm glad I asked before ordering because I assumed the double was 2 scoops. The single is $2.50 and double is $4. Very reasonable. They sell Umpqua ice-cream. They also offer coffee drinks, milkshakes, Italian sodas, teas and root beer floats. Street parking only. Limited seating inside and out. Would highly recommend!

So glad we stopped here for a latte! The coffee was strong and delicious. I also appreciated that they had a variety of sugar free syrup options ( I had white chocolate and it was delicious) Also for my lactose free people out there, they have almond milk and it froths very nice. Also the plants outside were very nice to look at while sitting on their patio. Definitely recommend!!

After hike chai latte, and a mocha. Best we've ever had! quick service, 11$ total for 2 large drinks. no plants outside tho.

This coffee shop. My oh my. I was on my way to a hike at Silver Falls and I drove past it. I made myself a promise that if I hiked the 8 miles I could come back and get a coffee here. And that's exactly what I did! I had the pumpkin puree and maple syrup latte with oat milk. It was so so so perfect!! The barista was friendly and sweet and when someone walked in behind me she greeted them by name. The plant shop next door is a fun little place to stroll through. The owner is so kind and helpful with all your plant questions. To be honest I'm not sure if they're separate entities or not. They seem to be connected. But either way, it's a must stop! I can't wait to come back!

The long communal tables were a welcome sight - lots of space to meet up with lots of friends - as well as the tidy reading nooks and smaller tables for a more individualized experience. Upon arrival, there's a sign that says to check in at the counter for service - which I did and was promptly handed a menu and told to find a place to sit and she'd come find me to take my order. The place was not crowded by any means so I chose one location to sit, changed my mind and chose another location and then changed my mind and moved again before settling on one end of one of those long tables. So many seating choices!! The staff member got busy and didn't make it back to me for a bit longer than I thought she should have taken but when she eventually found me, I ordered one of their seasonal espresso drinks: a Harlequin Rex (white chocolate, dark chocolate & caramel), and a Maid Marion crepe (marionberry jam, cream cheese, crushed pistachios & honey). The crepe arrived well ahead of the espresso drink but I waited to take a bite of the crepe till they both were at the table because I wanted a pic of them together - you know, priorities and all. That crepe was absolutely delicious - the perfect combination of tastes! And that espresso drink - spot on! Chocolate and caramel - what could go wrong there? Absolutely nothing. On the day I was there, it seems a pop-up jewelry vendor was there as well (or maybe the jewelry is a permanent feature? I don't know.). There was no space at the counter to sign my debit card receipt so I used the seat of the stool next to the register area, which worked just fine, but maybe it would be possible to keep an area clear for conducting the business of paying, since table payment is not an option (little sign attached to the playing cards that indicated your table number said to go to the counter to settle up). Or perhaps hand the receipts attached to a small clipboard or hard surface of some kind to make signing easier. Just seemed a bit crowded and cluttered at the counter. Overall, I think they're a great addition to downtown Silverton and hope to go back again to try something else on their yummy-looking menu. After they're able to work out the kinks of being a new business (they've been open 4 months), I hope they'll be in Silverton for a long time. PS. For those of us who like to read menus online, check out the back-story of a business, or locate other business info online, their website is currently not functioning. I contacted them through their FB page and they responded quickly but the message was that they are too busy to work on their website. Hopefully, they'll be able to get a minute or two to at least post a "website under construction, please check back soon" message for those of us who like to cruise websites, or maybe take down the web address on their FB page so we don't click on it only to be disappointed that nothing exists.

The barista was nice and accommodating as well! We went during our stay in Silverton, and we all felt that the food was just ok (outside of the donuts - those were delicious!) and the coffee was perfectly adequate. The service was pretty quick - even whenever it got busy. The coffee didn't rewrite any history books and won't be added to a list of best shops in Oregon, but it's a great space to support a local shop and get a decent cup that's worth the price. Strong suggestion to order any latte half sweet - it'll be a good level for more serious coffee drinkers!

Although the woman behind the counter said she didn't make many cortados (even though they're on the menu), she said she'd give it a shot (see what she did there? ). It was tasty but had too much foam on top (cortados are equal parts espresso and steamed milk without foam), although now that I think about it, maybe it wasn't foam at all but simply the steamed milk bubbles rising to the top. Typically a cortado is served in a clear glass large shot glass but since they didn't have any of those, it was served in a small espresso cup. In any event, the drink was good and the bite-sized frosted mini doughnut was a perfect mouthful. I'd give them 5 stars if they had had a cortado cup, especially since it's actually on the menu, but overall, a charming place to stop for a pastry and a coffee. With several comfy nooks, tables for your laptop, live-edged wooden bars at the front windows, and a nice selection of pastries, I'd definitely come back here... and maybe next time they'll have cortado cups

We stopped by this little religious bookstore to find gift items for our friends and family, but also to grab a latte since we were already in the area. Little did I know, this was part of Mount Angel Abbey Seminary. As you enter the Mount Angel Abbey grounds, you'll drive all the way up past the old cemetery, and the bookstore and coffeehouse is located right behind it. ~ The bookstore itself has everything from devotional cards, to rosaries, patron saint coins, lots of candles, books in theology, statues, various size crosses, and lots of other gift items. The coffee area also had Benedictine Brewery schwag, their bottled beers, as well as fancy coffee mugs that we purchased. The lady behind the counter was also very nice. ~ As for the coffeehouse, it was a little room that overlooks the trail and forest at the back of the store. The coffee menu was pretty decent in selection. They can even brew some tea if you like. I had the Chai latte, which I really enjoyed with a chocolate orange dipped biscotti. The tables were clean for the most part, and the lady that brewed our drinks was helpful and cordial as well. Overall, with everyone being sensitive about religion nowadays, I'm keeping my review as simple and respectful as possible. This may not be the place for everyone, but if you're Catholic or consider yourself Christian (my family is split, so I'm a hybrid), then I consider this to be a good place to grab something special or just relax and have some coffee. For the most part, for us, it was peaceful. ...and then go grab a beer at their brewery down the road ;)

In addition, the menu also offers a number of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options for guests looking for something to suit their dietary needs. What I love most about Silver Falls Brewery is the many seating options. The restuarant has balcony seating, as well as an outdoor courtyard with a fair number of tables. In addition, the interior dining room has several large family-style tables that can accomodate large groups.
