I don't have medical insurance so I went here for a bad cough. The receptionist was nice and knowledgeable. I didn't have to wait long at all. The doctor and nurse were great. They gave me samples and made sure my prescriptions were going to be affordable. read more

I showed up at about 8:30-9:00 am and got seen very quickly. There were 2-3 people in front of me but I was back in 10-15 minutes. The receptionists were all very nice as was the doctor. Despite being severely understaffed I felt well taken care of and was very happy with the service. read more

I rarely am sick (blessed, I know) but when I get something, I do it up well. (Perks of working in public education and tons of illnesses floating around, I suppose. Today was my first time visiting IUC and I was promptly greeted, all forms quickly added to my file and was called back within minutes of arriving. Say what?? I know I timed it well but this never happens even without anyone ahead of me. The medical assistant was friendly thorough. The attending PA was amazing! Super jovial and easy to talk to! Where was he when he was a peds dr and my kids were little? I would have loved a dr like him for them! I didn't feel like "just another number" here. Definitely worth the drive from another county north! read more

I went to this location because it seemed like the best urgent care around mount pleasant. I arrived and it had many papers and posters on the door saying their hours and other announcements. It said they closed at 6pm and it was 5pm when I arrived; I called the office to alert that I was there, and they picked up telling me they were closed and that their new hours (close at 5) are posted at the door. The new hours were in fact not posted, and I said that I didn't see anything. The lady continued to argue with me telling me that they were, and I took photos of the entire door and look later on again...new hours not there. The lady had a horrible attitude and was refusing to help me further. I ended up going to the Midmichigan ER which had way better service. read more

I was in town visiting family and came down with a bad cold that was turning into a sinus infection, so I came here to get some antibiotics. This office has a lunch break around 1pm where they close everything down and leave for an hour. I guess because there's only one doctor, they can't make it work any better, but it's annoying since it's an "urgent" care. :\ I expected the doctor to be in a medical coat, but she was in a long sweater with shear black leggings and sparkly boots. And I am not positive, but I suspect the huge black Hummer with fuchsia trim in the parking lot is hers. She kept looking things up on her phone (with all the click sounds turned on, lol) to give me advice! Now, I can Google with the best of 'em, but I sought a medical professional so I didn't have to get my information from the internet. So much for that, I guess... The worst part is she kept earnestly saying "supposABly" instead of "supposEDly" and I wanted to run out of there warning everyone in the lobby! But I suppose Yelp works too. read more

WORST healthcare place I've ever been to by a longshot. Can't do one thing right to save their (or this case our) lives. I've been here twice and have had the worst service imaginable. If you like waiting hours for minimal results, this IS your place. Backstory - I have an injury with my spine that I've had for two months. When I went to them, they told me "nothing seems to be wrong, but we're not experts with this type of injury. We can prescribe you 500mg ibuprofen"...well fast forward two months later and I'm still in pain. So CLEARLY something is/was wrong. And then when I tried to get my X-ray images, they gave me a disc with nothing on it. I can't make this up their quality of service is comparable to a fast food chain messing up your order. I'm begging you not to go here, please make my timely suffering your reason to find better options. These people do not care about you. If you see a 5 star review it was either bought or coerced, and I'd bet my life on that. read more

We don't have a family Dr. for my husband and I so it is hard when we are sick. We tend to go to Urgent Care facilities for ourselves and if my daughter cannot get in to her pediatrician. We have been here NUMEROUS times for all of us. EVERY time we get in QUICKLY (at other Urgent Care facilities in town it can take over an hour to get seen even if you go at 8:30 in the morning). The receptionists are ok, nothing special. But the PAs are AMAZING! Chris is VERY good with kids and personable (which many times you do not find in a male PA in my experience). The woman is kind of brief and indifferent but ok and honestly, in a medical situation, I am not looking for a BFF. I think these people who reviewed either came on a bad day or these people don't work there anymore. read more

We came in seeking help for a broken nose and the front desk seem to laugh at us for it and was not nice at all. After describing the situation they decided to state "well you can sign in I guess" so we did and got into a room eventually. The main doctor wasn't all to nice either. Not very helpful of an urgent care and recommended seeking another alternative read more

Will not return here!! Took my husband -- a cancer patient here on a weekend with an extremely severe sore throat. The lady who took us back to the room was indifferent and wrote on his chart his pain was a one when he said it was an 8. She didn't know how to do a strep swab and had to do it 3 times and said " I'm not sure if I got it". Dr wasn't much better-- had dyed yellow stripes in her hair ( unprofessional) and told him to gargle. Two days later took him to our family dr who put him on antibiotics and prednisone. Not impressed at all!!! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The staff was extremely rude..not only that, but they were all watching tv and youtube and their computers and laptops. I took my daughter in to have her finger looked at..mind you, she sprained it 3 weeks ago, and her doctor put a splint on it and we took it off after a week. She has been at camp now for 3 days and she came home today with her finger and hand bruised a slightly swollen. I take her to IHCC immediately after I get home from work and they made me and my daughter feel like complete crap. The receptionist never even spoke or said hello, she just smugly ordered us what to do..the nurse never made eye contact, had a really bad attitude, and made my daughter and I feel as though we were an inconvenience..and when we finally just had enough of the disrespect, I took my daughter and we walked out of the room. We ran into the doctor and told him we were leaving and explained how rude we had been treated by the staff and his response was simply, "Ok, bye." There was only one other patient in the facility so I have no idea what their problem was..but no one should ever be treated this way. Very poor customer service. I am on their website now trying to find out how I can contact someone in a position to do something about this. I would never want to get any fired..we all have families and bills. But, SOMETHING should be done. read more

Don't ever go here!!!! I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. The previous review was spot on! The nurse didn't speak to us. Just opened the door and stood there waiting for us to come back. She never smiled, said hello, NOTHING! when we got back to the room and the PA came in (Mark Bush) he acted like we were a complete waste if his time from the get go. I was there to get my son examined. He decided to lecture me and barely even looked my son over. He acted like he couldn't care less about us. My 12 year old son could not believe the way he acted and talked to us. I will be taking this further. People in the health care profession should be compassionate and caring. These people definitely are not. read more
