Our room featured an adjustable king bed and a large jacuzzi tub, and the bed was the most comfortable we've slept in on our trip. After dinner, we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch, strolling through the quiet historic neighborhood, and spending time in the beautiful secret garden beneath the old trees. While…read moreAiken is described as a charming town with many attractions, the charm began for us as soon as we reached our bed and breakfast, Burrell and Flynn's Farm . When I say they thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable , I Mean everything . The historic charm of Aiken is carried throughout the home with an updated style sure to make every visitors stay feel like a retreat! When we arrived, we were greeted with a huge hello and smile by the host and given a tour of the home. I already felt at home ! The tour lead us through the beautifully decorated living rooms to the bed rooms that were filled with everything from snacks to cold drinks in the fridge to a Nespresso machine. The immaculate bathrooms have every amenity you could possibly think of with a five star hotel feel. Best of the best of everything from the hand soap to the professional grade blow dryer . Oh and if you are a TV watcher, no worries. Each room has a large TV! As the tour continued to the rear of the home, we walked past a "reading nook or meditation room " and through the "workout room" which opens up to a beautiful back porch that overlooks a beautiful in ground swimming pool . The deck is huge with a lot of comfortable seating and table top fire pit. This is where we enjoyed the "charcuterie and wine hour "after we enjoyed a polar plunge in the salt water pool. In the morning we enjoyed a Delicious gourmet breakfast prepared by the chef, our host! While over filling our bellies we enjoyed the tunes coming from the record player that was turning old vinyls ! There is so much more I could say but I'll leave it with The attention to detail is unmatched! There is something for everyone here . When our stay was over we left with a gift from the host and her precious sidekick Georgia Bean who gave us a little farewell bark! Thank you for your Southern Hospitality. Service was quite leisurely, taking several minutes to receive water and then another several to place the order. We decided on the pimento cheese for the table, the seared tuna for me and the hot honey prosciutto flatbread for her. To drink I got the red flight and she got the cab. The wine was drinkable but seemed very much like table wine. Nothing unique nor worth the price. My seared tuna was good, her flatbread was incorrect with buffalo sauce instead of hot honey and the pimento cheese was forgotten. Several more minutes before the pimento cheese was delivered. They apologized and said they would comp 1 wine or a dessert. I had finished my tuna before her flatbread was delivered that came with some sort of buffalo-mayo sauce, still not hot honey which was the only reason she ordered it. When the bill arrived there 2 wine flights ordered. We wanted to like this place but we won't be returning.

This is a quaint, homey bed and breakfast. It feels like they are just sharing their house with…read moreyou. It is quite welcoming. There are two inn keepers. The male, Jaime is much more welcoming and understanding than the female(I can't remember her name), but they make a great one, two punch. Upon arrival we realized we had forgotten a few items so Ashley(?) Took us to the local target to acquire the forgotten items. We were then ready for dinner but had to wait for almost 2 hours for Jaime to arrive, but the wait was well worth it. After dinner, which we had to pay for, we returned to the b and b for a brief conversation before bed. We had requested a king bed but were lead to a room with a full bed. (The main reason for a 4 star review instead of a 5 star). In the morning we were greated with cinnamon rolls before our departure. The female requested a hug, which was a bit unprofessional but added to the experience. All in all a great stay and would recommend to others!
