While…read moreAiken is described as a charming town with many attractions, the charm began for us as soon as we reached our bed and breakfast, Burrell and Flynn's Farm . When I say they thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable , I Mean everything . The historic charm of Aiken is carried throughout the home with an updated style sure to make every visitors stay feel like a retreat! When we arrived, we were greeted with a huge hello and smile by the host and given a tour of the home. I already felt at home ! The tour lead us through the beautifully decorated living rooms to the bed rooms that were filled with everything from snacks to cold drinks in the fridge to a Nespresso machine. The immaculate bathrooms have every amenity you could possibly think of with a five star hotel feel. Best of the best of everything from the hand soap to the professional grade blow dryer . Oh and if you are a TV watcher, no worries. Each room has a large TV! As the tour continued to the rear of the home, we walked past a "reading nook or meditation room " and through the "workout room" which opens up to a beautiful back porch that overlooks a beautiful in ground swimming pool . The deck is huge with a lot of comfortable seating and table top fire pit. This is where we enjoyed the "charcuterie and wine hour "after we enjoyed a polar plunge in the salt water pool. In the morning we enjoyed a Delicious gourmet breakfast prepared by the chef, our host! While over filling our bellies we enjoyed the tunes coming from the record player that was turning old vinyls ! There is so much more I could say but I'll leave it with The attention to detail is unmatched! There is something for everyone here . When our stay was over we left with a gift from the host and her precious sidekick Georgia Bean who gave us a little farewell bark! Thank you for your Southern Hospitality. My table was set up in the back by the pool. It was very windy when I went, so keep that in mind if you plan on being a vendor. When you visit that you go around the back for the lovely views. I plan on going back to attend a wine vineyard tour in the fall, maybe book a room. They have events thru out the year, you can also rent a room to make your time more special. Peaceful, Delicious, and Memorable…read more Laurel Haven Estate is a hidden gem. From the stunning grounds to the thoughtful service, every visit feels special. We first visited last summer for a cozy birthday celebration for my husband and have returned a few times since...each experience better than the last. The owner, and her fiancé , are a delight to communicate with, and their passion for what they truly shines. We had dinner last night during their Sunset Series - Live Music. The entertainment was good, atmosphere was peaceful, and the view of the grounds were beautiful. My husband and I ordered the pork tenderloin...hands down, the best I've ever had. The chef even came out to clear our plates and even shared how she prepared it...such a kind gesture. Even though I'm not currently drinking, I still had a wonderful time sipping water and enjoying every moment. Laurel Haven is a place you'll want to return to again and again.

This is a quaint, homey bed and breakfast. It feels like they are just sharing their house with…read moreyou. It is quite welcoming. There are two inn keepers. The male, Jaime is much more welcoming and understanding than the female(I can't remember her name), but they make a great one, two punch. Upon arrival we realized we had forgotten a few items so Ashley(?) Took us to the local target to acquire the forgotten items. We were then ready for dinner but had to wait for almost 2 hours for Jaime to arrive, but the wait was well worth it. After dinner, which we had to pay for, we returned to the b and b for a brief conversation before bed. We had requested a king bed but were lead to a room with a full bed. (The main reason for a 4 star review instead of a 5 star). In the morning we were greated with cinnamon rolls before our departure. The female requested a hug, which was a bit unprofessional but added to the experience. All in all a great stay and would recommend to others!
