THESE SERVICES ARE NOT APPLE CERTIFIED AND WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY!!! This guy is the lowest of the low scum bags I've ever dealt with on a business basis probably ever. From the moment he answered the phone he began maligning me and attempting to belittle my "intelligence and IQ score" because I didn't immediately tell him what generation Ipod I had called about. He seemed very ignorant about Ipods in general and seemed to be projecting his lack of knowledge unto me. What seemed like a severe case of Napoleon syndrome, or some bitter form of just being a grumpy old man turned into profanity and escalating derogatory comments when I informed him that "I am so glad that if he could not resolve my problem at least he exemplified such excellent customer service." He continued to stay on the phone to strengthen his case that I was unintelligent, swore some more than hung up on me. I attempted to call back to resolve the issue as I was in shock because never in my life had I been treated nearly this poorly by any business entity or agent and he didn't answer his phone. This guy is unbelievably rude. I called him to get info on him fixing my daughter's iPod. From the time he picked up the phone he was rude. When I asked to speak with Frank Walberg, he was evasive. It wasn't until I explained that I got his name and phone number off the internet to do an iPod repair that he admitted he was Frank Walberg. I should have hung up the phone right then. I explained to him the problems we were having with the iPod and he said we "weren't telling him the truth. You're leaving something out. You must have dropped it in water. No digitizer malfunctions without being dropped in some liquid." I explained to him that it wasn't dropped in liquid according to my daughter. He accused her of lying to me (she wasn't). My daughter is a Certified Electronics Technician- Associate (college level) and studied electronics for 4 years in a technical High School. By the time we got off the phone with Mr. Walberg, it was clear that he not only didn't want our business but that we didn't want him anywhere near our iPod. Save yourself the time and embarrassment. This is my second time of having outstanding service from Frank. First, he fixed a shattered screen on my iPod. That repair was done about a year ago and the iPod is still working good as new!! This time, my teenager opened the door of a moving car going about 40 mph while the iPhone was on his lap. Yes, the phone fell out of the car and struck the pavement. There was a rather large dent in the back corner of the phone and the back glass was shattered (iPhone 4). I emailed Frank, included a couple of pictures, and explained what allegedly happened. He gave me an estimate. I mailed the phone to him as I am in Maryland. After looking at the phone, Frank saw there was more damage than just the back glass. I sent the additional money to him via PayPal and he mailed the phone back to me. The areas of the phone he fixed looked brand new. :) The price for repair was just over $100 which is a huge bargain. More importantly to me, however, is knowing that Frank is a very skilled and honest man. If he says he can repair it, he will. Called about my Iphone and he preceded to talk about his global reputation like he was some kind of celebrity, completely condescending and unwilling to let me get a word in edgewise, and talking trash about the shops in the area when I said I was shopping around for someone closer to my home for repairs! I would say that Frank does know a lot about i pods and computers and the environment but I found him to be very narssistic and talk only about himself for 30mins before telling me the 3 min diagnosis to my i pod its taken him over three weeks to send me half of my refund because he couldn't fix it. He dissed my music saying it was outdated and that I should find different music ( very unprofessional) I think that Frank Walburg is a very rude man and honestly doesn't deserve business from anyone. My 3 year old spilled water on my 13" Mac Book Pro and it wasn't working properly. I brought it to the Apple store downtown and they were to repair it for $750 but it would also require the probable loss of all the data on the laptop hard drive. I brought it to Frank at isickbay to create a volume drive copy or drive back up in case they "lost" my data during the repair. When through with the backup Frank also went to work to fix the water damage. As it turns out he is a water repair specialist. Within two days he had the laptop working again perfectly and didn't have to send it off for weeks to Apple. The total cost through me was $125 waay below the $750 wanted. My iPOD screen was frozen, and my scroll wheel seemed to have been disconnected. Charging the device had no effect, and I figured that perhaps the battery was dying and had just enough energy to keep the display lit. I called iSickbay, and Frank Walburg spent the next 15 minutes educating me on how to care for my iPOD. He also referred me to his article on iPOD reset, which I read. Five minutes later I was back in business. What luck! Frank is an incredible resource, and now I know what I never learned from my iPOD book and manual. I was blown away at how helpful and knowledgeable Frank was. Not only gave me the best advice as far as what to do (or not to do) with my daughters waterlogged Ipod touch, but spent at least twenty minutes laying out my options for replacement including statistics and just a whirlwind of information. After lending me his time, information, I expected he would try to sell me something, but as it turns out he does not feel it would be an honest repair business if he tried to sell people new products. Last week, I dropped my brand new iPod touch and the screen shattered. I'd read reviews for iSickBay before, so I sent the business an email asking about prices, times lines, etc. Really, I was just trying to feel out the company. I got a response in minutes. They explained why the screens shatter so easily, gave a quote for repairs, and instructions on how to send the device to them. Not only that, the email had correct grammar and punctuation (which tells me they take customer service seriously) I sent them the device, expecting it to be back in the predicted 7-8 days. It was back in 5, good as new! Overall, I love this service and would definitely suggest it to others and use it again if necessary. read more

If I could give this man a zero rating, I would! I called 411 and asked for iPod Repair and I was provided with his number. He claimed to work for Apple even though he clearly doesn't - he was very abusive to me for no reason. He started calling me horrible vulgar names. When I was upset and asked for a supervisor (because I thought he was Apple) he said "I am my own supervisor b****" among so many other degrading names. This man reduced me to tears he was so unbelievably vulgar. I hung up and called Apple off the number I found on the website, and the supervisor I spoke to told me THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. I am thrilled to have my iPhone totally resurrected from the dead, thanks to Frank Walburg. I have had 2 I-pods, 1 I-pod nano and now an I-phone repaired and this guy does great work, with a fair price and service is fast. Made a phone call Friday morning, sent the I-phone in via US mail on Friday and had it back in Tuesdays mail. $60. and it is like new. Frank is rocks! I recently broke my iphone and along with it went years of pictures and all my contacts, since I wasn't smart enough to back up my phone. I mailed my phone to Frank and in less than 24 hours after he received it, I had all 303 of my contacts, all my photos, music etc. FRANK IS THE BEST !!!
