ncredible. The lobster blew me away. There atmosphere was perfect. The sashimi was so fresh. Cilantro rice amazing. Worth every dollar. Our waiter, Billy, was spectacular

A beautiful open air restaurant located at the Morningstar Buoy House Hotel. A really nice menu where Mediterranean meets Caribbean. Plenty of great fish selections with some nice meat additions as well. We went with the Wagyu Steak with chimichurri sauce and it was outstanding. Great cocktails and a really solid well priced wine list.

Ate here the first night we arrived, the atmosphere is lovely, very romantic vibe. My Caribbean lobster was good. It was my birthday so they also brought out a complimentary dessert and some killer bee shots which was nice. Would come back.

Food and ambience were great. We love the service as well though the food took a hot minute to come out

Food and ambience were great. The food did take a minute to come out but overall, we enjoyed our dinner.

I ordered the Coco Berry Cream ($12.37) which was slightly sweet and refreshing with berry and coconut flavors. I also got three tacos ($19.59) served with tomato, onion, jalapenos, and cheese. The tacos were flavorful and the ingredients tasted fresh, especially with their house salsa on the side. I also grabbed a bottle of water ($3.09). One thing to note is that 18% gratuity is automatically added to all checks, which is common on the island. Also the billl is slightly less if pay by cash. They also had some interesting specials posted like two pork belly tacos with rice and beans for $22, and margaritas like a Spicy Pomegranate Lunazul Margarita ($15) and Orange Cranberry Margarita ($13). Overall, the food was tasty, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was smooth.

Not a super hopping area and on a street vs. the beach or anything fancy like that. We saw a chicken or two wandering around also. But the staff and food were great, so that made up for the location not being the best. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super nice and helpful about which drinks might be good for us when we told him what flavors we were feeling. I had my first of many Island Summer Ale beers here (brewed in St. John). Served very crisp and cold in a frosty bottle. For food, I had the fish tacos (when in Rome - or on an island, in this case), along with tater tots. The tacos were tasty, with fried fish, lettuce, and a cheesy sauce on top. My friend had tacos too, but picked the beef protein, and chose the beans as her side. Her's also looked delish, so I would try those if I ever make it back that way. As we left (after dark), the bartender did us another favor. We almost got in the wrong car, thinking it was our taxi, and he ran out and grabbed us and said that was not a taxi at all! I'm not positive it would have been dangerous to get in the car, but it definitely felt like he saved us. If you're staying in the Havensight area of St. Thomas, and don't mind a sports bar style atmosphere vs. beachy vibe, then I would recommend checking out out Dog House Pub for the tacos and beer!

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, all of it is good. Even the vegetarian options. The pulled pork and the chicken wings are especially delicious. The portions here are hefty, and after a long day in the sun havin' fun, a pitstop here will ground ya for the night. Pricewise, this spot is a bargin. Its loud and can get a lil rowdy on the weekends, but otherwise a great spot to kickback and watch the game. The kitchen is open late too. Downstairs in the den there are a few lil lottery machines, a pool table and the typical dive bar essentials.

Also during happy hour the boat taxi was a bit cheaper. Water depth was about 5' deep and enjoyed floating most of the time because I was getting a little sea sick on the stools and lily pads. Our server Kara was very friendly and mad us love our entire experience. Food was the best we had in the island all week long. Must do experience, never done anything like it.

We were taken out on the shuttle and told we'd need to swim the final 10 yards or so. As someone who didn't exactly grow up in the water, that was easier said than done. I even had a floatie for assistance, but it didn't inspire much confidence. It was the longest two minutes of my life. To make matters even more exciting, the water was pretty choppy that day. To be clear, this is completely a "me" problem and not a reflection of the establishment at all. I just hope that one day there's an easier option for land-loving odd ducks like myself to enjoy the experience without convincing ourselves we're about to become part of a maritime rescue operation. Once we made it, though, it was absolutely worth it. We ordered a couple of margaritas that were fresh, strong, and delicious. I had the Spiced Tuna Taco and my wife ordered the Shrimp Taco. We absolutely inhaled them. I would've happily ordered several more rounds if I hadn't been mentally preparing for the swim back to the shuttle. The vibe was fun, energetic, and laid-back. Being from St. Louis, it was a happy coincidence that they were playing Nelly and Chingy all afternoon, which made me feel oddly at home. All in all, this was a stellar experience, and I would absolutely go back. I may just want to log a few more hours of swimming practice first.

Server was engaging and fairly attentive. Seems it was only her and a cook working in the back. Ordered the Queso Con Carne with Chips. The queso dip had a greasing meat concoction on top. The best thing was the taquitos, had a little bit more flavor. The accompaniments: Guacamole was definitely not homemade, store bought. The pico was fresh extremely chunky, but not much of it. The refried beans were absolutely tasteless.
