I was highly influenced to try this for an early breakfast once we got off of a cruise ship because it has such great reviews. Well it's worth the hype! The owner is SO incredibly nice and embraces the chaos of swarms of cruise people wanting coffee and breakfast. It's nice to sit inside or outside. My salmon and dill scone was very unique. One of our group got biscuits and gravy and it was still cold, so she asked for it to be reheated and he apologized profusely. It was no big deal, and the customer service was excellent. Definitely check it out!

We were staying at the Inn at Creek Street, which is an easy walk for a delicious, light breakfast. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we knew when to come back for hot salmon dill scones! They were worth the wait (well balanced flavors), and I enjoyed my biscuit while I waited. The yogurt parfait with fresh fruit compote was tasty, as was the breakfast burrito. Casual, clean and comfortable atmosphere if you want to sit or you can take breakfast with you. Good looking coffee beverages too!

The best in town for sure...maybe the best in all of Alaska...The biscuit sando and the white chocolate scone were excellent. The coffee and the service was acceptable.

Amazing cafe! A lot of the other cafes had basic packaged pastries, I saw another Yelp review that said they have pastries made in house - fresh! I will say they did taste house made and fresh, but also soooo delicious! I got a snickerdoodle cookie and lemon loaf, I was only going to get one but it was my birthday so I treated myself and I'm so glad I did because both were just fantastic. The service was great too, very friendly and efficient considering how busy it was with all us tourists. Cozy environment on the deck, outdoor seating with rain cover protection and heaters. Inside if you really want to sit but outdoor is just a cozy vibe. Love love love, 10/10 recommendation if you only stop at one cafe in town!

Come for the friendly service.

I'm from Los Angeles, so my coffee expectations are worldclass. I'll tell you what, while the coffee brews fall a little short, the owner (SAM) and staff are absolutely worldclass, which takes my 3 stars to 4 stars. They have a great outside deck, and the coffee will address your caffeine fix. They also have plenty of outlets for computers/phones. We enjoyed our 20 minutes here.

Sam was great! Welcomed and tried his best to remember my name!!! Excellent....small shop but outside seating is good. Coffee was noce and smooth...not strong....Next to water and salmon jumping. Awesome time albeit short...

Walking around town, we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat some where. The smell of smoked pork filled the air and our noses led us here. The owner is very animated, friendly and I "think" his young daughter was sitting in the place saying hello and chatting it up with guests. She was super cute whomever she was. I would come back just for this Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich! House made butter biscuit, thick cut smoked bacon, and an egg. This definitely was delicious!!!!

A very nice and very popular coffee shop located in downtown Ketchikan. My latte was well-made and quite tasty! The shop itself is a bit on the rustic side with a very casual and comfy environment. It has both inside and outside Terrace seating where the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great place to check out and take a break especially if you are a fan well made coffee drinks.

BLT with a gluten-free special order bun

This place was recommended by a local artist, and it was a great recommendation. Very friendly service. Nice cozy atmosphere. Our friends enjoyed their carrot spice bisque very much. My wife's gluten-free BLT was excellent. Their Mocha was good as was their coffee. I had a very good grilled cheese sandwich. It was pricey - but it in a tourist area on Alaska, so should be expected. Check them out.

Used to be 55 North. New owner, new paint job, better hours, awesome vibe, good coffee, awesome treats, including proper English Scones! The new owner Sam was in, so friendly with a lot of energy. This is a place worth seeking of. A bit of the beaten path but close to the ships, FD, Creek Street, etc... I like to seek out local coffe shops owned by locals living in town. Always more fun and as here often a wonderful experience

Very friendly service and good food! We also had apple cider, lavender and hazelnut lattes that were perfect. Cozy and warm atmosphere, especially with cold wet weather.

Very charming coffee shop with a nice heated outdoor patio and playhouse for the kids! My vanilla latte tasted incredible and the employee's were so kind and joyful. Must stop on your cruise if you're looking for a good coffee shop!

It's all good, especially the breakfast biscuits, they are open year round, the staff is fantastic. If they have it try the pulled pork.

First greeted by the hostess to seat us. Place was full and very nice and clean. Casual atmosphere…read moreand you were able to hear each other's voices. We both enjoyed the halibut fish and chips which were amazing! Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Ketchikan Alaska!

I ordered a king crab leg, crab cake, and chowder combo…read more Three must haves for a true Alaskan trip. The crab was ok, honestly tasted like the much much cheaper snow crab to me, wasn't worth the cost but still part of the Alaskan experience. The crab cake was pretty small, good but small. The chowder was pretty thick and gravy like from chowders I've had. The food was good, nothing worth going back for, but good for the experience. This is where we go from a 3-4 star review to a 1-2 star review. I'm being nice. When the check came they added a 20 percent auto gratuity. I usually do 20% but when it's a single combo plate and the majority of the plate is one thawed crab leg.... Come on , really!!! Do an auto 15% maybe 18% with the option of adding more. That's the standard. What got me was a 4% service fee. I asked what it was for and the employee told me ," we don't get that, I guess it's for the kitchen staff or the owner, I don't really know". Why am I paying a service fee for .... Well nothing! (Crab legs are about $100 each which is the average price ) so $4 per crab leg goes to the evil greedy owner. So $4x 8 legs on a crab = about $32 per crab just because . Tax... expected and the law. But a credit card fee.... Even for debit (against the law). Not looking so good for the owner. So to sum it up Food was good, nothing to celebrate about. I actually can't complain about the service , it was good. But the extra fees are where the ship sinks. Stop taking advantage of tourists and your restaurant won't be empty, and it was very empty when I was there. Should have seen it as a red flag . Do better!!!
