We happened to pass by and stopped in for a beverage only to see they offered panini sandwiches and other fare. The service was exceptional and the owner, and chef, along with the rest of the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was excellent, and everything tasted fresh. The portions are large, so you may be able to split one sandwich with a partner or friend. The store is cozy, and there is ample seating just outside. When I lived in Ketchikan I came here semi-regularly when I couldn't be bothered to bring my own lunch. Their wraps are good- house favorites include the Thai Chicken, Turkey Pesto and Taco wraps. Pro- tip, the wraps are HUGE. Very shareable. And the taco wrap is on the lighter side since it has no rice and is mostly salad. I have never had a bad experience with service. In fact, today when I came in I was the only customer and the owner, I believe, bent over backwards to make me feel welcome and taken care of. I've seen a few negative reviews from tourists about prices, to which I reply: this is Alaska. That's actually what shit costs here. $4 for a small juice is not a huge markup. This is a town where you can't get a pizza for less than 20 bucks. Believe me I feel your pain: I was SHOCKED when I went into a grocery store in Ketchikan for the first time. Is it really necessary to gouge tourists to that extent? I know they need to maximize on the few months that they see tourists but that pricing is outrageous. Good place to avoid most of the other tourists (until I posted this I guess). I had a turkey sandwich with cream cheese and cranberry sauce. It was not only delicious, but HUGE!!!! You definitely get what you pay for and then some! There are fresh cookies, pretzels, and ice cream as well. They also have a minor charge for credit card purchases, but was still well worth the price of having a nice, quiet place for lunch without a wait or too many other people. read more

There ice cream selection is great BUT there scoops are absolute GARBAGE! Who eats a tiny little scoop of ice cream for $5! What is this New York City?!! I'll take my $5 to MCDONALDS and get 5 ice cream cones the size of everest. Please change this I love there ice cream but its not worth the price. My favorite spot in Ketchikan for lunch! Their menu has a wide variety of sandwiches and wraps. Great flavor and very filling. It can get very busy with all the tourist in town, therefore sometimes difficult to find a table to eat at, but most of the time very quick service. They also have a variety of cookies, muffin tops, donuts, ice cream, pretzels and more! I cannot wait to go back and try something new! read more
