Trust me I don't like anymore traffic on past my house but you must go to this place! They have fish in bins and they're easy to see. The bins start at $100; then there's $200; $300 all the way through $800 and then they "price upon request" here's the deal it's like a lot. At about $400 you can sell the fishes Sex and the fish in the 400 500 and $600 bins are just absolutely freaking gorgeous the most amazing beautiful Japanese pure bread Koi that you've ever seen. I know this stuff. You will walk out of that with an absolute gem for your POND and it's a fun experience. I sent my sister with her kids.. it strange, because they have a huge aquatic waterfall feature in the corner and it's still something that I would pass by because the bushes are shrubs don't exactly spell out "KOI". This place is a very serious good quality place with the quality water and amazing staff. You don't have to spend a lot of money there's a lot of fish in the $100 bins that are just fine, in fact gorgeous. If you wanted to spend money. There is a way to do it here. The fish in the "price upon request" Ben were second and none. This place is number one in Long Island and I'm not spellcheck this I hope it says what it supposed to.

At my first visit I met with Peter Izzo and Joe Orrico. They were in sales in the retail store and loaded with know how about how to start...right where I left off. In no time at all I had the perfect tank, filter, heater, live plants and fish....and I never looked back. Now Peter and Joe are in the front office in charge of in home custom set-up and maintenance. Just two days ago, Joe rolled up to my house in the big HOF van to do a refresh of my 65 gallon freshwater tank. He spent 3 hours pruning and relocating plants, shifting hardscape. It was as though my fish tank had a spa day...down to scraping the sides and glass top, removing every single bit of algae. He topped it off with changing the pre-filters in my Oase filters and a water change! All the while, Joe offered advice to maintain what he had just done. It was a genius session. Frankly, this is why HOF is my go-to for anything "fishy". It is the ultimate! In the store it is Casey and Aiden for solid advice. They know their stuff. If there is any fish you want they will do their best to get it for you. Ok, I'll stop know. If it is know-how bout fish keeping, and what equipment, food...anything you want to know about your hobby, get yourself to House of Fins in Greenwich. Hilary S.

Easily 50-100% more expensive than any other top quality with knowledgeable owners/staff reef shops in the tristate area. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem paying a premium to ensure a good shop remains in business but these guys are priced out of my comfort zone (and reef keeping is an expensive hobby as it is)
