He is a talented artist. His wife is a knowledgeable world historian. It was a pleasure shopping there. I ended up getting three items I didn't know I needed (but I wanted!). I went after I finished doing laundry this morning and ZERO regrets. They moved some things around and it looks like they are replacing their rugs because there are no rugs. Some sections are still kind of bare like ive seen in photos but their workers are hustling and bustling despite the chaos and entitled and rude customers. I happened to witness this actually when I was asking a worker if they moved their greeting cards and a lady could not go around us! She demanded that she go right through us. Their little store is small, but mighty and the service is nothing short of spectacular. What *I think* they're mostly known for is their gift baskets/boxes. When holidays, birthdays, special occasions roll around, Lee Bear is such a great place to find an assortment of goodies for friends and loved ones. Their gift baskets are filled with treats like candies, Maui Cookkwees, gourmet cookies and rice krispies that have been dipped in a rich, decadent chocolate coating; freshly hand-dipped in their store to ensure high quality flavor. My favorite is the white chocolate covered pretzels with rice krispies, marshmallows, etc. SO good. It's the first thing I call dibs on when I see it. Haha! Just recently, I stopped in when my little one suggested we make lollipops. They had a wide selection of molds, gel food coloring, candy thermometer, basically everything and anything we needed. They even sold the white chocolate covered rice krispy treat by the package! It's a bit of a splurge, but I like what I like and will pay for it... lol. I tried an edible arrangement but they would not deliver it to Maui hospital. I was able to get a hold of the kind lady from Lee Bear and although it was after hours, she took the time to talk to me. She listened to my situation and kindly took down my information and when she went to the store the next day, she made my order and delivered it to the hospital!! What amazing service! This is a prime example of living aloha!! I cannot even say how much I appreciated what she had done for me and how much it meant to me. The person receiving the gift basket was also elated and enjoyed the delicious treats that were in the basket!! Mahalo nui loa Lee Bear!!

This shop, ran by local artist Cece Chenault, sells cards, decals, and other stationary and gift items that feature her original artwork. The artwork is colorful and whimsical, and the cards cover most occasions. The items are reasonably priced. The cards are on the expensive side compared to a generic Hallmark or American Greetings card, but they are comparable to Papyrus or more high-end cards. A unique card from Aloha Maui Creations makes for a more thoughtful gift than a generic mass-printed card.
