The spa has a great "spa" feel to it. They have a "quiet" room they take you to before your service, which I agree with some other reviewers is not always actually quiet. The relaxing music you get at every spa is played over the loudspeaker and is often a smidge too loud. But, the quiet room offers water and snacks - along with staff offering a drink as they lead you to the room. If you're going in for a massage or facial, you'll be taken to the bathroom/locker room where you can change to your comfort level and are able to lock your belongings during your service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The esthetician who does my facials and eyebrows (Alma) is warm and friendly. One weekend, I completely forgot about my appointment and Alma told the front desk to call me, because "it didn't sound like me to forget." They offered a later appointment for me and didn't seem annoyed at all. For those of us who know we'll keep coming back, Woodhouse offers a membership whereby you get discounted services and products. If you go as often as I do, the membership will pay for itself shortly.

So the first thing I noticed was the spa music was in the hallway and not in the room...then the massage table had a hole for your face, not like other massage tables that have the face rest off the table. The guy who came in had my arms out as if I was on a cross but the first time he brushed up against my hand? I moved my arms back down next to me. Then all I could hear was his heavy breathing and stomach gurgling...I also told him where my trouble spots were...neck and shoulders, low back...he put a bunch of oil on my back and used his forearms to massage me. Once I flipped over I told him that he hadn't worked on any of my knots, he was just simply rubbing me down with oil...so he asked me to flip back over and he worked more on my neck and shoulders where he found the knots... I was not happy with my massage but paid the 70.00 dollars...I didn't tip and Jenny said...oh you're not going to tip? As if I HAVE to, and I said no I'm not. And left. I don't think I'll be going back. It was a weird experience. And the heavy breathing could've been drowned out by spa music IN the room.

We've only had positive wonderful experiences- i literally cant stop gushing over how much we love this place. Its perfect if you want to take care of your body in a relaxing place knowing youre in great hands. So do yourself a favor and Go!!! Side note they also had the cutest spread for Valentine's day- aside from the specials they run (which are awesome) they also had a room with some snacks and drinks plus a goodie bag to take home. It really went above and beyond our expectations. Huge Thank you to Massage Center! We'll be back!

I previously had an amazing experience with Stacey as my masseuse, so I decided to take my husband…read morewith me for a couple's massage. I had Pete and I was less than happy with the experience. He started by greeting us barefoot, which was an odd choice. He coughed & cleared his throat throughout the whole massage. When I asked for the table warmer on, he said it was, but then bent down and turned it on. When he used his arms to massage me it felt like a hairy loofa *gross*. I had cupping added on to my service and I'm not sure if Pete knew what he was doing. I felt immediate relief when Stacey did my cupping, but the cups didn't stay and weren't nearly as helpful when Pete did them. Lastly, Pete lingered for a VERY long time after the massage. It's very awkward as you're trying to pay and leave a tip with someone is staring at you...still barefoot *professionalism* I would go back again, but I would definitely ask for Stacey.

Massage Rating: .01/10 From the beginning to the conclusion, there were a lot of red flags during my visit. For starters, as I walked in, there was an obnoxiously loud door chime that echoed throughout the establishment. I'm certain this would ruin any calming vibe were someone to be getting a massage. Then... nothing. The place was dark and empty. From behind the curtains to my right I could hear what I can only assume was a Chinese tv/talk show playing quietly... I heard a "Hello?!" and as I responded... nothing. "Hello?!" I heard again, to which I announced myself for the second time. A few seconds later a woman peered slowly out from behind the cloth coverings of the next room and immediately disappeared, leaving me standing there for a few seconds before she zipped out and practically ran into the next room and stood behind a barrier between me and the massage area. Through a square window she glared at me... not saying a word. I inquired about whether they were actually open and the pricing for a 60 minute massage. She informed me that the cost would be $60, and I agreed to it. She then motioned to me to take my temperature. I did. At that point she immediately asked for me to "pay now" and as I was reaching for my wallet, I happened to clear my throat before asking about tipping afterwards (as I'd be fine with paying beforehand, but I'm not comfortable tipping for a service that hasn't been rendered). Her reaction was that of horror as she literally jumped back and asked "Are you sick?!"... and started acting extremely nervous. That's when I explained that I'd be canceling and walked out. As I was headed to my car, she came out and disinfected the door/handles while glaring at me until I drove away. Let's just say I'm glad I dodged that bullet. Nothing about that experience made me think I would have enjoyed this place. From the ambience, to the lack of hospitality, I can't see how they could run a business this way. It came off as uninviting and down right unprofessional. I understand that with the Corona pandemic everyone should take precautions, but this level of hysteria was a bit much. There are a multitude of options further down and I suggest looking into those.

I had an appointment today and unfortunately left feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated…read morewith my experience. I specifically wanted my nails to look nice for my husband's Coast Guard graduation ceremony this weekend, so I was especially upset with how the appointment turned out. I've had multiple French tips done at this salon before, but this is now the third time I've been scheduled with Jay, and each experience has involved an argument over what I'm asking for. I ultimately leave with nails that are not what I requested, and today I paid $137 for a manicure and pedicure that I am extremely unhappy with. I asked for a barely-there light pink French tip using Funny Bunny for the milky-white tips. I showed Jay a picture of exactly what I wanted. Multiple times throughout the appointment, I had to correct him because the base color was looking too orange and too dark. He assured me it was fine. I specifically told him that I wanted a very light pink base with the milky-white Funny Bunny tips. He then told me, "No, it won't look good. It's too light." He suggested doing chrome instead and said that the French tip "won't look good, in my opinion." I explained that I felt it wasn't going to look right because the nude color he had chosen was too orange and dark, and that I had specifically asked for a French tip with Funny Bunny. He then told me he was only going to use bright white because Funny Bunny "won't look good." At that point, I was so frustrated and uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave, so I agreed to the bright white even though it was not what I had originally requested. Unfortunately, the final result is not what I wanted at all, and I'm now stuck with nails I paid $137 for that I don't feel comfortable wearing to an important event. I was so upset during the appointment that I almost started crying. I understand that nail technicians may have professional opinions about what will look best, but there is a difference between offering a suggestion and repeatedly refusing to do the colors and style a paying customer has clearly requested. I shouldn't have to argue with my nail technician every time I'm scheduled with him just to get the color, shape, and style I asked for. I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and like my concerns were completely dismissed. Below is my receipt and the picture I asked for and what I ended up with. Services: Manicure, Pedicure Requested style: Barely-there light pink French tip with milky-white Funny Bunny tips.
