The hair stylists weren't in yet, the receptionist was rather rude and the owner wasn't any better. Luckily, Jenny, the stylist they assigned to me was great. She was extremely friendly and bubbly with an upbeat personality. I can tell she was very passionate about her work and also gave me opinion on color options for my hair (she is also a colorist). Long story short, I only requested for my split ends trimmed- no wash, no style, which was done in 15 minutes but ended up costing me $60. Seems a bit overpriced for a dry cut? Maybe I should've just gotten everything done (wash, dry, cut & style) since I found out at the end, it's the same price anyway. The reason I didn't was because I had just washed my hair the previous night and coming here was a last minute decision. However, Jenny did a really good job on trimming my ends and my hair feels so much healthier. Would I come back here for highlights done by Jenny? Only time will tell...

I was greeted by the receptionist as soon as I walked in and was able to get a blow out done instantly. Summer asked what style I wanted and in detail. I liked how she asked me exactly what I wanted, ie: if I wanted volume on top, what type of curls, etc. Most stylists just tend to do what they want or see fit. I liked how my hair came out and would definitely come back again. The blowout cost $40 (excluding tip) but with the Yelp checkin, I received 10% off. Everything came out to $50 after discount and tip. And best of all, they are open on Sundays!

I genuinely wanted to continue supporting the salon, but unfortunately, my most recent experience was the final straw. My nail technician was Jean, and when I first started going to her, I was very happy with my services. However, over time, I began noticing several red flags. I would routinely make my appointments two weeks in advance, only to arrive at my scheduled time and still have to wait. I also noticed that Jean would tell me she could do certain nail designs, but once the appointment began, it would become apparent that she could not execute the design as promised. During my most recent visit, I specifically asked Jean beforehand if she could complete a particular design, and she assured me that she could. As the service progressed, I realized that the design was not coming out the way I had requested. I very politely asked her to stop because I was not happy with how it was turning out. Her reaction made me uncomfortable, and it felt as though she was upset with me for simply expressing my concerns. To make matters worse, she had already cut my cuticle during the service. At the end of the appointment, I felt extremely uncomfortable because it seemed like they were rushing me out of the salon. My nails were done on Friday, and they are already chipping. For the price I paid and considering the fact that I have been a loyal customer for almost three years, that is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is also not the first time I have felt that Jean has been aggressive or had an unpleasant attitude toward me. I have overlooked previous incidents because I genuinely wanted to support the salon and maintain a good relationship with my nail technician. However, this experience crossed the line for me, and I will no longer be returning. Another issue is the front desk. The owner, Jessie, also handles the front desk by herself, which frequently results in very long lines just to pay and leave. I understand that running a business can be challenging, but after being a customer for nearly three years, I expected a better overall experience. It honestly saddens me to write this because I have supported this salon for a long time. However, loyalty should be appreciated and met with professionalism, good customer service, and quality work. Unfortunately, that is no longer the experience I am receiving here. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously because I would hate for other long-term customers to have similar experiences.

From the moment I walked in, it felt…read moreweird--they immediately asked if I wanted to make an appointment even though I already had one scheduled one and clearly came in at the appointed time whereas other customers were taken as walk-ins. The overall environment is uncomfortable and entirely lacks customer service. While I was waiting after choosing my color, an entitled customer ("Karen" energy) walked right in front of me, completely ignoring my personal space to the point of almost hitting me, and actually tried to sit in the pedicure chair assigned to me. I literally had to say, "Excuse me." The staff did absolutely nothing to manage the situation. As for the service itself, it felt like they gave me the least skilled technician in the room. She was very cold and rigid at first, only warming up toward the end because I went out of my way to be gentle and kind. She even tried to correct me on something unnecessarily. To make matters worse, my toenail polish has already chipped, leaving me highly doubtful that she even bothered to apply a top coat. My nails are ok but I did have to assert in a kind manner that I wanted the job to look pristine. When it was time to pay, the nail tech tacked on an unexpected additional charge at the last minute as if I'm an idiot, I had even asked for a price quote before she began each service...money is not the issue but I value honesty and transparency. The young man managing the register (who looked like he may or may not have been the owner's son) handled a minor cash miscalculation in the worst way possible. Even though I clearly had a handful of cash and was just counting it out, he corrected me in an incredibly loud, hostile tone so that the entire shop could hear. It was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I will definitely not be back. The lack of basic courtesy and quality here is glaring. Moving forward, I'd honestly rather wait until I travel to my favorite salon in Davis Island, Tampa to get proper, high-quality customer service and clean/pristine finishes.

I came in wanting a baylage, and cut along with what I felt was a major color correction as my hair was basically red toned with highlights that just looked awful. My hair has never felt and looked this alive beautiful and healthy. I needed a color correction so badly and she truly was so knowledgeable and knew how to fix it in less than two hours!!
