Wow I'm blown away- I just moved here and there's a lottttt of nail salons. I picked this one by chance and they are INCREDIBLE. The manicure was fast, exactly like the picture, took me as a walk in super quick, very inexpensive, but the people are what made it amazing I can say how AMAZING they were. Was looking for a new nail salon in the area as I recently moved here, and with so many options, I decided to give this one a try based on reviews. The owner was very nice, however, the salon is not relaxing whatsoever. I almost felt like I was in a factory. It doesn't appear to be the cleanest salon either as it's not well kept. I like to feel relaxed during my nail appointments, and this place did not do that for me. The man who did my nails did an ok job, but the nails were not symmetrical. I went to the nail salon a couple weeks ago for the first time. I found it on yelp and saw the great reviews and thought it'd be the perfect place to get a refill and shorten my acrylic nails. This had to be worse experience I've ever had. Not only did the person who was servicing me cut me several times but he also ignored the fact that I was bleeding. When I pointed it out to the lady upfront she gave me a cotton pad to stop the bleeding, a pack of skittles and a coupon for my next service (like I'd ever go back). After paying (full price) and expressing my dissatisfaction she proceeded to ask me for a tip for the person who serviced me with a promise that she'd tell him to "be more gentle" I found that to be rather rude. I have no problem tipping service providers who do a good job asking for a tip when the service didn't go well at all was absurd. read more

I have gone to a few nail salons in the past but this by far is the best I've been to. The inside is clean and the general vibe is very calm as well as all the nail techs are very friendly. Not to mention the work they do is fantastic. I get a powder gel and it easily lasts 3 weeks and my nails look and feel fantastic. I typically get a design and I've not been disappointed so far on their execution. Good quality of all their products and the manager gives out snacks which is delightful (and great for the younger crowd). I didn't like getting my nails done until I came here. Strongly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a good nail salon! read more

I'm an Oceanside resident and in our town there is no lack of nail salons. I think we must have at least 20 and more opening up. I have been to most of them and a lot of them start out good and then after a while they're either nasty, like they're doing you a favor, increase their prices or just do a horrible job. Be One Nail is different. The woman that runs it is so nice and will accommodate you every time. She makes you feel like they appreciate you as a a customer. They do a great job with your nails and their prices are ok. The candy they give as you are leaving, is a cute little touch. I have been going here for about six months and so far so good! I would give zero stars! I came in for a fill-in and a design on all my fingers. I was told a price and agreed to it. Half-way through the manicure, the manicurist says "it's too much work for all the fingers". I said fine (maybe he's tired, maybe he's had a long day) I said fine let's just do two fingers and asked for the price. He said the same price- which I then said that can't be, we are doing less work and if it's the same price I would like all my fingers done then. He whispered to himself then he became passive aggressive. I thought maybe because there's a language barrier let me get the front desk staff to help. She too could barely speak English; when I asked for the price she was passive aggressive as well, she asked why I was so upset. Not once did I raise my voice, scream or curse- I literally just wanted to know the price. He snickered and said I'll do it free?! I told them No and to leave my nails plain- forget the design . Apparently, you can't ask for the price or you would be treated less then. To add to this story, I'm a black female, they had a narrative that I'm a "angry black female" and treated me has such. I never felt less then, never felt so judge on the basis of my skin. They made my simple fill-in a terrible experience, I will never be back. read more

He rushed through the job, every nail is a different shape and length. His attitude alone is my reason for never going back. I love this new salon! Jess at the front desk was going above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and told me all the deals so I could take advantage. But the biggest PLUS was that I got a new UV gel set and it didn't hurt at all!! That's unheard of because every other place I've gone to it always burns when it's drying under the uv light. They stayed in contact with me the day before and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving My first time walking in here today they were very friendly and made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The salon is up to date with the Aesthetic/equipment and the aura felt clean.
