!!!SCAM!!! This place is garbage I took my iPad in to replace the screen which was $180. I get my iPad back 3 days later and I'm rushed out the store, I get on the iPad later that night to find the home button tilled and locked to which I look closer and find the screen is cracked...wtf. So I call and take it in they say they will fix it but will be hard because "I" cracked it. Next day I call and they say the screen broke more and now I need to pay $200 for a new screen after refusing they say the best they could do is $100, so they want me to pay for their mistake and lack of care. Best advice would be to avoid this place at all cost they don't care about you or your equipment just money and they will always find a way to scam you for more. The picture is after they "tried" to fix the home screen this place should be blacklisted. Go back to putting on window tent and leave what seems to be complicated devices for you...alone. read more

I went in here with mixed expectations. Their Yelp reviews are quite varied. The Yelpers were right though, as I experienced moments of brilliance from them and also moments of despair. Let me start by saying that the customer service is ideal...when you have their full attention. If another customer is in the store or the other phone line is ringing, misinformation and errors started occurring. As for quality of work, one guy seemed to know how to do simple repairs and another guy seemed to know a whole lot more. Bottom line, don't expect this place to work miracles. If you have a run of the mill cracked screen or whatever, you'll be good. Something tragic like water damage, don't get your hopes up. read more

I needed to have the battery swapped on my Galaxy S7, and had purchased my own replacement for the job. Rob (from the Miramar Rd location) had taken my call, and said that they would perform the procedure for $35, and that it would take maybe 30 minutes. I showed up the next day, without an appointment, and was back at work with a new battery within 20 minutes. These folks are professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. NEW UPDATE 11/29/2019 Went in for a warranty claim on an iPhone 6 Plus for an LCD screen and a battery that was replaced during this summer in 2019. The LCD screen failed and was under warranty. So I dropped off and came back later to pick up after I was done running some errands. When I got back I was told that the LCD screen was recalibrated and I had to pay $30 for the repair. I was like it's under warranty and then I said, we never sold you that LCD screen since we never carry that model LCD screen when I brought in a fully cracked screen and they replaced it. So apparently someone is lying and it's not me! I told him that I thought $30 was way to high for nothing that should be covered under the warranty. So I ended up paying $25 and today I'm going to dispute the charge and I have my receipts for the initial repairs as well as yesterday's rip off receipt! I'm done going there! Good luck and I'm not changing my yelp review or removing it unless I get a full refund plus a store credit for this bullshit! I'm tired of companies ripping off people for nothing. UPDATE 09/08/2018 Went in for a warranty claim on an iPhone 7 LCD screen and they said it was moisture inside the unit which voids the warranty and now they want another $120 discounted to $80 for the repairs. They are not very good with warranty claims since the iPhone 7 has never been in any moist environment. Initially it's been dropped prior to the LCD replacement but not after and it's never seen any moisture since it's repair. This is the con game or bait and switch tactic which will be addressed in court. Good luck and I'm never using your services again! Went in to get an iPhone 7 screen fixed. Over the phone they said it would take an hour from when we come in. We get there and they say sorry we've been slammed all day, come back at 530. Which was 4 hours later. Ok no problem. We come back and the phone was ready. Except the screen wasn't sitting flush at the top, and the whole lighting of the screen was really yellow. He said it was his mistake and he installed a different screen rather than an oem screen because they were out of the oem! He then recommends we wait for another hour until he has someone go pick up the right screen. As we wait I was watching him change out another customers iPad screen. He got hostile with and asked me what am I looking at? We immediately asked him to put back the old screen. Yes the broken one. That's how much we were fed up with their service. Last night a few kids were at my house and managed to shatter my iPad. I was devastated! I looked up different places on google to fix the screen but there were no prices. So I went on Groupon and for my type of iPad the cheapest I could find was $350! I called a few places and got some lover prices around $220 but luckily I called this place and they said they could fix it for $149 with a lifetime manufacturer warranty. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! They broke my wife's iPad three times trying to replace a cracked screen. By the third time, the iPad is now totally non-functional. This all took three weeks with lots of delays and no communication from them. Oh, and by the time we got our refund, their employee, Mark (overweight bald guy), refused to give me a receipt and told me to go "s*ck a d*ck!" Here's the full story: My wife dropped her iPad and broke the screen. It still worked but had a few cracks. So we take it here and they say it's an easy fix. Several hours later, they say they broke the replacement screen and also broke the home button, which was working fine before. They say they don't have any other screens so they have a temporary screen taped on and it's usable except for the home button doesn't work. They say they will be getting new replacement screens in a couple days and they will call us when they are in and they will fix it then. Two weeks go by (with no call from them and no response to our calls and messages) so we go there and they have the screens (thanks for letting us know!) so they try replacing it again. They break the replacement screen again and they say their replacement screens are defective. At this point, my wife and I are nothing but understanding--mistakes happen...no big deal. We let them keep the iPad this time and they say it will be done the next afternoon. So we go there the next afternoon at 5PM and they haven't touched it yet. The guy at the counter says they have someone coming with the new screen any minute and it will be done before they close at 7PM. We come back around 6:30 and they say it will be 15-20 minutes. While we are waiting, they return a "fixed" item to another customer but he opens it right away and sees that it still doesn't work--our broken iPad was not a fluke. After about 30 minutes, they have the new screen on but it's stuck on a weird screen, not responding and the home button is not working. So we stand over the guy's shoulder as he GOOGLEs "how to unlock iPad without home button" and variations on that for several minutes. These guys have no idea what they are doing!!! The guy then says he needs to work on it more but it's already late so we just tell him we want a refund and that we'll go somewhere else. We get our refund and leave but then he runs after us and says he has to take our receipt. I give it to him but then I think about it for a minute and go back into the store to get a copy of the receipt. Mark, the super smart technician (who broke an iPad three times), says he can't give me a copy. I tell him, "that's bullsh*t" and he starts arguing with me. Long story short, I tell him that he sucks at his job so he tells me to go "s*ck a d*ck." (I started it...but still.) So here's the bottom line: iSquad is a garbage company. They are incompetent and unprofessional. They took forever and broke an iPad that worked completely fine aside from a cracked screen after THREE attempts. Avoid this place. Go anywhere else--they turned our iPad into a paperweight. As a side note, I am not a difficult customer and I worked in the service industry before. I have never sent food back in a restaurant once or ever asked to see a manager before. These guys pushed my buttons like nobody else has. read more

UPDATE 09/08/2018 I just went in on 09/07/2018 at 4 pm to get a warranty claim done on an iPhone 7 (my 9th repair with isquad on multiple items that we own) and spoke to Alan (awesome representative) and he double checked the LCD for an iPhone 7 that the LCD was replaced earlier this year and it had moisture present within the iPhone which causes the iPhone LCD screen to fail when you touch it or try to open an app! The warranty was void due to the moisture and they made me a better offer for the repair which I accepted because I trust their work and professionalism. Brought my iPad mini 4 in for battery issues. Great response time from Manager John on Yelp app for an estimate BTW. Battery wasn't charging right and wouldn't hold charge for very long. I had battery replaced. After leaving the store, I discovered I was still having the same battery issues and brought it back the next day. The isquad team looked into the matter further and discovered there was another part that had gone bad related to the charging of the battery. I went in here with a broken samsung s8+. I just needed it hold a charge I didnt care how the phone looked. The younger guy started working on it. He got it to charge so he said give it a few minutes. We left and wen to Walmart and came back he said it charged to 50%. I asked what I owed and he said dont worry about it all I did was blow out the charging port. I tried to give him a $20 bill for his time and he wouldn't take it. Great guys. 7/13/2020 Update - Since writing my last review my screen has completely malfunctioned and now there is a super bright strip from the OLED going down the entire left side of my phone. I did not drop it or mistreat it in any way mind you. I took the phone back to have them fix their mistakes and I spoke to John who said "That isn't covered, there's nothing I can do". This place is a literal joke, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE!!! This place is a circus and the clowns that work here simply do not know what they're doing. I needed my iPhone screen fixed, so I used their online scheduling tool which gave me the option to choose the day and time to bring my phone in. They gave me the option to schedule Sunday at 10am. After I chose that, I received an email confirming my appointment. The next day I drove 20 minutes for my appointment to find out they were closed on Sunday's. I was very disappointed to have taken an hour out of my day, go through the trouble of having to drop my child off with someone, and waste money on gas.
