My son is a competitive swimmer who has Ehlers Danlos. As a former athlete with EDS, Arona knows exactly how to treat this. My son felt understood for the first time in his life after meeting with Arona. He's helped…read moreme with acute pain when I could not move at all, thru horrible life stressors, thru marathon running, etc. I've been adjusted by at least 20 different chiros over the years and he's among the best for me. My kids like him as well. Kathryn is an office gem. Her knowledge of the body and how to get at various muscles to stretch them is amazing. I always enjoy working with her and find I learn something new every time. Chiros like any other body worker have their own unique touch. Dr. D is muscular, with an athletic build, but a gentle touch. His set up is very accurate for me and it takes little force by him to move things where they need to go, where I have had others unable to do so. He is on the quiet side but knows a lot about the body and how to treat it, beyond chiropractic.

Dr. Pollack and the rest of Proactive Chiropractic have JUST reopened up their office and pretty much as soon as I saw the email, I went to book through their *announcer voice* convenient online booking system! That's right Johnny. But for real, they are taking all of the precautions and more that you expect people who care to take. There is only one doctor on at a time, there is only one patient in the office at a time. There is one front desk associate to help you. Both the doctor and the front desk are wearing masks. There is one chair in the waiting room. As soon as you enter the office you're instructed to wash your hands. There is a sign that says please wash your hands before and after you see the doctor. The adjustment apparatus and rolly thing (technical term) is disinfected after every patient. You must wear a mask during the visit. I mean... I don't know how they could get ANY safer. And it makes me feel 100 percent comfortable visiting the office and getting my adjustment, which I was in dire need of. Dr. Pollack is as wonderful as ever. The front desk associate was as nice as a person could be. That's one of the many reasons why when anyone in my vicinity (which unfortunately hasn't been a lot of people as of recent), but if ANYONE says "My back hurts." My first and most immediate response is, "You should see my chiropractor. I have a great chiropractor, he's right off 7 locks." I can't tell you how many times I've said that, and I can't imagine how many times I will in the future.

I received extensive PT from Gretchen Blaylock at ED&A for ten weeks after my total knee…read morereplacement (performed by Dr. Philip Bobrow) in early March. The sessions started at 3 times/week, ended at once/wk. The first month was intense, painful, and -- at alternate sessions -- discouraging/depressing and positive/uplifing. Throughout, Gretchen maintained perfect professional control over my recovery, with an attitude that was both endlessly kind/understanding and insistently challenging. When my progress flagged, she quickly developed alternative moves/exercises that put me back on track. Having Gretchen's care/coaching was the key to my recovery. (BTW -- with my replacement knee, the constant harsh pain caused by old arthritic knee is completely gone, and I am doing something I haven't done for years: walking strong and even without any knee pain. I still can't get over it!) I also noted during my many sessions at ED&A that the place is run very professionally, and that all the therapists seem to share Gretchen's commitment to patients. There is very little "parking" of patients on treadmills/stationary bikes while they "warm up." Amazing as it seems, Gretchen appeared to be monitoring my movements through the large, sunny studio even when I was under the care of an assistant, for every time I even momentarily lapsed into limping -- she knew it! A great experience all around -- I very highly recommend ED&A.

I completely disagree with the other reviewer. My physical therapist gives me her undivided attention and is sometimes assisted by an assistant. They also have different staff who manage the front desk. ED&A is definitely not in it for the money. Everyone I have dealt with is truly concerned with how i am doing. I have been to another physical therapy office, who had one phys therapist and one assistant for up to 15 people at a time - I didn't stay there long. They truly were more concerned about money then making sure their patients received their full attention and comprehensive treatment. I highly recommend ED&A.

Yes, I love physicians who are on time and the office so efficient that I waltz out of there happy and ready to get on with the rest of my day. I needed foot surgery, I was referred by another podiatrist because he felt that the surgery was…read moretoo complicated for him. I was sent to Dr Feldman. He was very confident that he could give do the surgery and improve my quality of life as it pertained to my foot pain and issues. I am going to be honest, there was a good amount of work done to my foot. Repair a plantar plate, fix a mild bunion, and remove 2 neuromas. He said he needed to shorten the second toe. I did everything that he told me to do. I did physical therapy in his office for the full recommended time. I went every week wearing 2 masks in a crowded office. I did all recommendations...Alex Brinlee my PT was excellent. However, Dr Feldman kept pushing the goalpost when I was not pain-free with the right amount of mobility in my foot. First, it was, give it 3 or 4 months....then, it takes at least 6 months, then, 9 months I am sure it will be better, and finally, this usually takes a year...Well, we are about 1.5 years post and my second toe doesn't move, the pain barefoot is the same or worse and I STILL can only wear sneakers comfortably. I cannot WEAR a small wedge or simple ONE inch heel. He said that I would be able to wear better shoes and was VERY confident. One visit that I had where I was complaining about my pain and the thickness on my foot, he ASSURED me that the thickness GOES AWAY and also told me that my x-ray was beautiful. Hmmm...Oh, I am glad my x-ray looks so lovely but how about you acknowledge how the PATIENT feels? I definitely felt he was being extremely arrogant. So, as time has gone on, I am very grateful that I can walk. I am grateful that I have my foot! But not happy with the outcome of my surgery. I did NOT want to post this review, but I wrote Dr Feldman a letter letting him know of my displeasure. Of course, he did NOT respond to me. That in itself speaks volumes. I want say that while I do NOT think that Dr. Feldman did anything WRONG. It just happened but his arrogance and lack of solutions are what is disappointing. Oh, let me not forget to mention that he recommended that I "protect my investment" by purchasing $300 custom insoles that HURT SO MUCH I CANNOT WEAR them. A total waste of money. Think twice about going to this practice!!!! Is this the type of doctor you want? Arrogance and no offering of better solutions to what a patient considers a FAILED surgery?
