They always sent an email saying when the rent was due (although I knew anyway), and from their information they take I got an Email saying I had a rebate because of my birthday last month. The place is top notch and very helpful. They have video cameras all over to make sure everything is on the up and up. As a tip though, buy your own lock that's standard, because twelve US is a little steep when you buy it from them. You can get something like a gate lock, or school non combination lock like kids used to put on their lockers (now they don't even use them).

I asked him if there'd been any flooding in the time he'd been there, and he said over several decades, there hadn't been any so far. This is good, because it's all ground-level storage. I got one of the climate-controlled 5x8 spaces, and it definitely met my needs. It was clean, cool, and mold-free. Moreover, while my car flooded twice in the last year in two different places in Houston (the airport parking lot and on my street), my stored belongings were high and dry the entire time. Check-in took a while because he writes kind of slowly, but check-out required absolutely zero effort on my part. He also has an automatic payment system, which made my life super easy; it just charged my card $55 per month. Access is by personal gate code, and then there's a door code to get into your unit's building. You supply your own lock. Be aware that they do have hours during which you cannot access your things.

When you sign up they also give you the first month free and you pay month-to-month so none of that pay 6 months in advance bullsh*t. No I don't have AC in my storage unit and I don't want it. That also means I don't have to pay some $60-70 price markup a month to keep items in an AC storage that don't need it. I would ask if they have any AC storage units available if you really want it. They've been in business for quite awhile and I imagine the owners don't use yelp which is why the only other review has been allowed to pervade on here. I don't usually rate businesses but these guys deserve to have 5 stars and be known as a 5 star business. They always answer their calls, speak to me courteously, and offer a great fair price!
