My son wanted gelato Saturday afternoon and there wasn't any options in the area so I decided to give iSwii a try. It is in the Hyatt's lobby so I expected better service being in a highly regarded hotel. The check out counter was for both convenience store and the gelato. We went ahead and ordered a single and a double. The lady at the counter seemed impatient and wanted us out of there asap when there was only one other person behind us. We don't eat a whole lot of ice cream and other sweets these days anymore, but we HAD to go to this gelato place inside our hotel (Hyatt Regency Orange County) following our trip to Disneyland, even though we were already exhausted from walking around all day. Initially, we wanted to go during our first night, but we were too full from dinner, so we decided to come here on our second night. When we got here straight from the Disneyland shuttle, there was nobody behind the counter. But then a guy came out from the hotel bar apologizing to us for the wait, the cashier had to go take care of a delivery and that she would be right back. When she didn't come back after a couple of minutes, the guy took over the counter since there was already a line forming. iSwii simply translates to "I'm Sweet", and they indeed have endless sweet options here! I'm not really the biggest chocolate person anymore so I got a mango sorbet scoop in a small cup, while my LTP got a strawberry sorbet scoop, also in a small cup. Both were really good and, despite being all tired, I ended up finishing the entire thing even before he finished his. If you're looking for a good gelato place on hotel property and don't want to go anywhere else,, this is it. A definite must try! read more

This ice cream stand is located inside the Hyatt. You either have to pay through the nose to park (no validation) or you can do what I did and park across the street in the lot for Outback and Red Robin and walk over. Either way, it's not worth the trouble. I came one evening after hearing that they served good ice cream and gelato. The young woman working here was pleasant and gave me large scoops in a cup of the two flavors I chose, Espresso and Nutella. I took a seat in the lobby area of the hotel. Both scoops were very creamy. The espresso was very disappointing with a flavor so light it was barely there. It looked like there were microscopic pieces of expresso beans mixed in but it did nothing to help my tasteless scoop. The Nutella was the opposite, great flavor with streaks of Nutella ribboned throughout. The only reason I'd try this place again is if I were staying here at the hotel. Probably more like 2 stars but I'm feeling generous at the moment. read more

Ok, This is also the location for the Citrus Grove Deli. So I did enjoy the fries and chicken strips here and i would get them again, but the service, and not to the fault of the person working there. Only one person was working and they were busy. She had to keep locking up the area with the drinks and other things when she wasn't right there at the counter. Then after the order was placed, she kept having to leave the counter and go into the back to check on it. I couldn't sit and wait by the counter, because she had to close it up, so I had to keep going back and forth to see if my food was ready or not. She did however notice me and brought my food to me as I was walking away for the 4th time so I did appreciate that. It also took a long time for me to place my order and others did end up leaving because of the time it took. She was making milkshakes for the people in front of me. Again not her fault. She should have had help there. Half the time also I couldn't tell if the place was open. But again the food was still good. Just need more than one person working. Now I did also order room service, and the food again good, and was very quick. I had hamburger and fries after a long day at the parks. read more

The place is sort of hard to find but it's inside the Hyatt Regency. The lady that helped us was very welcoming, nice, and gave us samples. I ordered a double scoop; Espresso and Nutella. The espresso was bomb very strong and creamy and can also taste pieces of the espresso beans. Nutella had chunks of chocolates it was a little too sweet for me but still good. The only thing is you have to pay for parking. We were only there for 5 minutes and the parking turned out to be $8. They don't validate so if you can; I would just park on the curb and put your emergency lights on if you just plan on buying gelato/ice cream. read more

It's been a rough start for this little gelato store located inside the Hyatt Regency Orange County and especially even slower because of the Memorial weekend holiday, so I stopped by to see what they offer. The gentleman working asked if I wanted to try any samples, so I went with their pistachio and coconut gelatos. I've definitely had better pistachio flavored ones, as the one they offer wasn't too flavorful, however, the coconut one met my expectations. I got the single scoop in a cup of the coconut and the strawberry sorbet one for my friend as well. Total for two small ones came out to be $9.50, which wasn't too bad at all, because the scoops I was given were pretty generous. Overall, flavor is pretty good for the one I had, portions are pretty fair for the price as well. Make sure to use that 15% yelp check-in offer while it lasts. This store doesn't validate for parking. I'd either get dropped off because it's a pretty quick process or you can go park at the Residence Inn and hop on over. Definitely refreshing especially with summer right around the corner. read more

The gelato is good and fine, however for the entire stay there was the same woman working and she acted, spoke, and conducted herself as if she hated her job and everyone who came to order something. read more

I am not usually a fan of Milk Tea, but that was there only Boba option. I got the lavender milk tea boba and when i tell you that this is the first time I finished a boba milk tea and enjoyed every last sip, i'm serious. Our servers were super nice and kind and one of them even had small talk with us while the other prepared my drink. The place was very clean and very cute. I really liked the seats which happened to be swings! Planning on getting gelato here later this evening based on the wonderful sample they provided! 4 stars! read more

Nice service and samples available. Ice cream is decent -- not too sweet and many selections. Some I saw were espresso, mango, strawberry cake, cookies and cream, dulce de leche, and vanilla! I had cookies n cream. In terms of cost, I had one scoop with no cone for $5 before tax. I like my ice cream on the sweeter side but the texture was nice and there were many cookie chunks. They have some great gourmet flavors of ice cream. You can tell that they are using real ingredients, not just flavorings. They're variety is perfect for a unique and enjoyable experience. Also, I had a red velvet cake and it surprised me. Usually cake is way too sweet for me, but they made it with a mild sweetness that made it great for an evening snack without getting sugar sickness. I heard from my friend that there is a new ice cream shop that opened inside the hotel that has a 3D show. Out of all the flavors they had, I liked the coconut sorbet, and it had coconut flakes! Another flavor I liked was the nutella gelato, and the workers said it was their most popular. The parking was a bit difficult cause you have to pay for the parking, though. read more

The sorbets here are amazing and refreshing! I can't have any dairy products so it was really nice to see them have different options. My favorite is definitely the raspberry sorbet. The workers here are super friendly in letting me sample everything. They also serve cakes! My mom loves their mango mousse. read more

I like that this place offers an entertainment aspect which makes it unique among other ice cream stores. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to view the 3D show because of lack of time. The staff was nice enough to let me sample a variety of ice cream and gelato. My favorite was pistachio gelato. I enjoyed the consistency as well as the flavor. The only downside of this store is that you have to pay for parking as it's located inside of a hotel. Other than that, I would definitely come back to try their other flavors. read more

After a tiring day at Disneyland we needed a quick little pick me up. Iswii was just the location we had in mind. Although parking was not free, customer service and gelato was amazing. I believe her name was Emily, she greeted us with a bright smile and helped us sample the flavors. She recommended the coconutty and that hit the spot after an exhausting day. I went with my friend , and we parked at Target's parking lot to avoid paying the parking there. I seemed the shop was brand new since they were having a soft opening special. The flavor I liked at the shop was salted caramel, and it was really smooth and not solid frozen. There were no places to sit near the shop but there were plenty of seating areas in the lobby area. read more
