    1. The food tasted delicious! 2. The spot looks like a small mom-and-pop spot! 3. There are no indoor seatings! 4. The staff was friendly! 5. Parking lot in the front is small, but there more parking in the back! Note: There is no restrooms for customers! Photo: Rice Cakes and Kimbap

This place is Amazing Traditional Korean Rice cake bakery in OC. In business for over 43 years. You can see and taste the Quality. The owner seems very professional, hard working and seems like honest and cares about their customers. I would drive long distance to come here. I highly Recommend, because friends and families loved it and heard lots of compliments

Todays haul! Big packs are ~$8, small are ~$3

A small unassuming shop selling some of the best rice cakes in OC. It's a take-out place and all they do are Korean rice cakes and Kimbap. But they do both exceptionally well! You can't go wrong with anything here. And you can tell they're all freshly made with quality ingredients. Come early for the best rice cake selection. But around noon for kimbap. They also take preorders if you want a whole pack of a specific flavor! Just give them a call or message them a day or two before.

I love this place, I went once to try and I can't get enough!!! Best tteok, best pastries I've ever had. Service is wonderful, I've met the owner and he was a delight. Everyone here is so kind and im so thankful for the flexible hours so I was able to come after and before work!

This place has a terrible business mentality to ripe off Koreans during chuseak! I went early in the morning of chuseak day to buy song-pyoun. Traditional rice cake ball Koreans eat on chuseok day. One package was $8, song-pyouns were literally placed on the styrofoam plate lightly. Couldn't believe the price for what they were offering. Their other rice cakes were decent looking but the owners POORLY made rice cake balls for chuseak because they know Koreans will buy no matter what. Every bite I had with the songpyoun made with sesame was horrible. I was able to find one or two sesame pieces. 임방아's songpyoun was the worst rice cake ball I had in my life and I will never visit this business again!

I ordered some rice cake for my baby's baek-il (100 days) and was very happy with our order. All the rice cakes we ordered were delicious and beautiful. We'll be ordering from them again for her dolh (1 year birthday).

This place is next to the bcd tofu house. Google map guided me to the da vein coffee plaza, but it actually is in the next plaza. Not a lot of selections since they were doing a lot of party trays this morning.

So, I bought a 1/4 sheet cake for my husband's birthday on purpose because I wanted leftovers!!! The fruit is fresh and plentiful. The cake has two regular cake layers, one layer of crispy pastry and a pudding layer all surrounded by delicious (not too sweet) fresh whipped cream)... This is my favorite kind of cake and if you'll compare the Yelp ratings on other bakeries who also sell a similar type cake, Long Phung Bakery wins!! They make them fresh daily and you can normally just walk in to get one, but call ahead to reserve!

It seems a bit messy, or maybe they need a bigger shop. Step further into the shop and there it is, the case of cakes! The case itself is old and the window to view the cakes is not clear, seems foggy. Hard to see the cakes. But with all the hype about this bakery on social media, I had to try it The Fruit Cakes are unique with fresh fruit not glazed or jam. Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.

Anyone I've offered a Manmi cream puff to agrees with me. Cream puffs are 75 cents each. They're big and are generously filled with a custard cream. The pastry bit itself is fluffy and not too dense, unlike other puffs I've had. It's not too sweet, and if I don't watch myself, I'd easily eat a shameful amount of them in a single sitting. I usually pay in cash, but you can pay with card (except American Express) if you're okay with a small processing fee. There isn't much seating in the bakery, but there are a couple of chairs and tables to the left. From my experience, people usually just come and go. Service is standard and relatively friendly. 100/10 would recommend.

So she took my order and went next door to charge my card but I didn't know next door was a coffee place guess they link together. Funny thing was she didn't smile and the man who came after me she greeted him with a smile because they are of the same ethnicity. Language wasn't an issue here but to stare at customer like that I'm not coming back there ever again. Even though the cream puffs were so good very soft and not too sweet. I always go by first experience and impression. I will be looking forward other bakery's in Garden Grove.
