Kiosk of the Cathy's Cookies in DowntownDisney
Cheryl-Ann C.

My friend and I just visited Downtown Disney on a Sunday afternoon and I told her about this kiosk. Lines were short at the time we went. Great customer service and in case you didn't know, they can validate your parking if you parked for the Downtown Disney. We bought the $28 bucket and the cookies were not bad. Just a little high. It was nice though that it was in a bucket so it's travel friendly. Wish they would sell in a smaller count like 6 pieces.

Stopped by after our long day at Disneyland and wanted to see what the hype was all about and ordered their "Bucket! of Cookies". To be honest, they're good, but no better than buying Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough from the market and baking them yourself. Just bake them slightly under the time they say to on the directions and you'll have the same outcome. They also use frozen cookie dough as I saw boxes being brought in on a cart to refill their stock that had "frozen" written on them.

This spot has recently hit my socials so I wanted to check it out especially since Harbour Galley is currently closed for refurbishment and it definitely hits the spot for a freshly baked treat. These are a bit thinner and crispier than Harbour's but pack great flavor and texture. Service is super fast and friendly and also a small Magic Key discount if you show your pass as well! It's a pick up kiosk so no seating available other than outside under umbrellas In Downtown Disney. My only comment is that you can't get anything smaller than an $18 sleeve so if you're on your own it's tough if you just want a few cookies so it might be better to get a bucket to take home and share with friends and family.

Cathy's Cookies is a popular bakery in Downtown Disney, known for its hot, fresh, and gooey chocolate chip cookies, often sold in large buckets, but also available in smaller sleeves. These cookies were amazing! Nothing beats that homemade taste with a soft center and crisp edges! The cookies are served hot- I do recommend waiting a few minutes before tasting one. And if you're planning on taking them to go, leave the lid off for a few minutes to allow the cookies to harden (if not, they will stick together). The staff are super friendly and expedient as lines due tend to be longer than normal at Downtown Disney. The vibe is chill and relaxing (plenty of ample space to sit down and enjoy your cookies). And the prices are what is to be expected (it's Disney after all)- a bucket of cookies (about 36 cookies) $28 and a sleeve of cookies (about 12-14 cookies) $18.

YES, YES, and YES! Been hearing about Cathy's Cookies for a minute, so last night as we were walking around DTD, we decided to grab a bucket. For $28 (minus our pass holder discount) you get about 36 fresh, right out of the oven chocolate chip cookies. And let me just say, OMG...SO YUMMY! The line wasn't too crazy when we went at about 5pm, but it moved pretty quick. If you love chocolate chip cookies, Cathy's doesn't disappoint. Only problem is trying to stop eating them..lol!

Get a bucket! The cookies are freshly baked and so good :)

We first tried Cathy's Cookies when it was in a food truck at Downtown Disney and I instantly fell in love. So when I saw they now have a stand, I was ECSTATIC. They keep it simple: just classic chocolate chip cookies. No crazy flavors. No gimmicks. And honestly? When it's done this well, that's all you need. The cookies are smaller and perfectly snackable, golden and slightly crisp on the outside, but soft and chewy in the center. They're not cakey like some theme park cookies they're dense, gooey, and dangerously easy to keep grabbing "just one more." And that's how I ended up buying a bucket. Husband: "Why did you buy a bucket? There's only 3 of us." Me: "Okay." Husband: "Okay....You're going to carry that all around Disneyland?" Me: "Who says it's making it into Disneyland?" Husband: "You think 3 of us can eat a dozen cookies each?" Me: "Who said I'm sharing?" Cathy's Cookies - Downtown Disney Pricing * Bucket of Cookies - $28 ( 36 fresh chocolate chip cookies) * Sleeve of Cookies - $17 (12-14 fresh chocolate chip cookies) * Bucket of Cookie Dough To Go - $25 (36 ready-to-bake frozen cookies) * Empty Bucket Refill - $25 (Refill your bucket with fresh baked cookies) * Milk - $2 (8 oz carton) ** They offer magic key discount ** My bucket cost $25 after the discount. There are areas to sit but no table seating around the stand. Yes, it's Downtown Disney pricing, but you get a generous amount, and they're fresh and warm. The morning time is not as busy as night. Parking If you are not going to the parks, park at the Downtown Disney Simba Lot. First hour is $10, and if you spend $20+ you get 3 additional hours validated (total 4 hours). Table-service dining can give you up to 6 hours total. Remember to bring your carabiner so you can hook the bucket to your bag. Overall, it pleases my sweet tooth :) Worth the price!

Haiku: Cathy's Cookies Just follow your nose Freshly-baked choc chip cookies Buy the big bucket. --- My ultimate favorite dessert is a warm chocolate chip cookie. Cathy's Cookies certainly delivers. These freshly-baked beauties have a crispy edge and a warm, soft interior. They are also a mid-size cookie--not tiny cookies or the large, sandwich-size ones. This means: dangerous to eat because one is never enough, and you realize it's too late, 6 cookies in. This is a popular cart in the Downtown Disney district, and they are consistently baking fresh batches. Sometimes it's too hot for the workers to handle while cookie connoisseurs patiently wait and watch. I ordered the bucket, which house 3 dozen deliciously addictive and indulgent cookies. They are warm and crispy, but not perfectly round. My only complaint is that they vary in sizes. Some are much smaller than others, making it an unfair count. I'm guessing they look "bent" or peanut-shaped because they were handled prematurely, or not enough time was given to the cooling process for the shape to set. I'll have to come back to get another bucket, and hopefully they've fixed the sizing issue. Either way, it's been a joy to freeze these cookies and to enjoy them throughout the weeks with a glass of milk.

The last time I had Catchy's Cookies was at the OC Fair. It was a nice surprise to see a booth location in Downtown Disney. I couldn't wait to see it open when it had the "Coming Soon" sign up. Now that it's open, here are my thoughts. Cookies 5/5 They are fresh-baked, soft, with a light, crisp edge, slightly gooey chocolate chips, and always delicious. Great for sharing. The enticing smell of the stand as you walk by can't be denied. The staff is pretty quick to pack up the cookies for customers. If you have leftovers at home, warm them in the microwave for 15-20 seconds, and they return to nearly-fresh-baked quality. Value 2/5 It's worth trying once, but I feel this is a one-and-done for me. Spending $18 for 12-14 (3-4in) cookies is a pretty penny. Other options include buying a raw-dough bucket for $25, which lets you save a few bucks by baking the cookies at home and yields about 36 cookies. A bucket of 36 fresh-baked cookies is $28. Although these were very good cookies, the price is a turn-off to purchase again. It's a nice option if you're visiting the Disney resorts, and if you love fresh-baked cookies, but they need to lower prices for better value. I'm sure Disney takes a big cut for them to retail inside DTD.

There were quite a few people in line but we ended up at the front in no time. We got the Bucket of Cookies, which was definitely the best value. Especially when you use a cast member discount, which is nice that they offer. The cashier was also friendly, he even implied for us to press skip when the screen asked if we wanted to tip. We got our cookies and they were easy to take home since they came in the keepsake bucket. They tasted good and I would buy them again, I'll just have to finish the huge bucket I have first!

My boyfriend is a cookie fiend, so when he saw that there was a new cookie spot serving fresh cookies in Downtown Disney, he knew he wanted to get some. Cathy's cookies have one thing on their menu: Fresh chocolate chip cookies. Their simple menu guarantees that you get fresh cookies each time. We cane mid day on a Wednesday, and there was no line, but we walked past them headed back to our hotel after the parks closed and they had a consistent line late night. My boyfriend wanted to get the bucket of cookies so he could take them back home, and they were $30, which I think is pretty steep for chocolate chip cookies. They advertise that they come with about 36 cookies. Cathy's Cookies is constantly pumping out fresh cookies. They are extremely soft, and if careless, you can definitely drop one while holding them because they're that fresh and soft. Definitely a must stop for cookie lovers!

We had gone to an Angels game the previous night and saw a looooong line for Cathy's Cookies. We were wondering what was so special about these cookies and decided to buy some when were here at Downtown Disney. They were delicious and worth the hype for some fresh warm chocolate chip cookies (the only flavor). The kiosk is near the entrance once inside Downtown Disney. Service was efficient. Worth a try at least once!

Cookie tub!

5 stars, Cathy's Cookies!!! We went three days after their grand opening at Downtown Disney and let me just say, their cookies are perfection. We ended up visiting three times in five days. You can get a sleeve (12-14 cookies), a tub (36 cookies), or dough to-go and some milk. The cookies have the perfect crunch to chew ratio. Not too chocolatey either. Perfection. The employees are working triple time to keep up with the line and we're all super friendly. The line can get long but the cookies are worth it. The seating around there is plentiful as well. Check it out!

Cookie sleeve

New cookie stand taking over Downtown Disney. $18 for a sleeve of 12-14 cookies, $28 for a bucket of up to 36 cookies(!) which is pretty wild. The line was getting a bit out of hand after they opened over the weekend but they added tape to make it easier to queue. I guess it wouldn't be a Disney trip without switchbacks. It's just a stand like the churro stand or corn dog stand so no seating aside from what's provided already in Downtown. Now onto the cookies: we got the sleeve and it took just a few seconds to receive our order of hot and fresh cookies. They were definitely good don't get me wrong but... they were just... cookies? I kind of expected a special unique twist on the classic chocolate chip but these tasted essentially like a fresh batch of Nestle Tollhouse. That's not bad necessarily but just nothing to write home about and nothing I would probably get again unless I was having a serious cookie craving. Idk, maybe I don't quite get the cookie craze! I think they're worth trying once at least, especially if you have a group to share them with.

I think the mango one is $15 One time purchase to satisfy the curiosity, but I find it hard to come back for another bite. I ordered the chocolate covered strawberry cream/cake dessert. The red chocolate on the outside was too thin and was breaking into to many pieces. You DEFINITELY don't get that crunch sound you hear on social media. Too thin. The cream inside was not the right temperature, making the milk cream taste almost gamy. I question the quality of the ingredients. My guess is loaded ingredients.
