went in here for my morning cup and ask if they had pour over. i was looking over the selection of…read morebeans and cashier suggest the house blend. try it and was underwhelmed. seems to be a bit diluted. and i tasted a little sour note. sorry, i dont like sour african coffee. my preference is south american chocolate nutty notes. i also felt the coffee to water ratio was perhaps higher to my liking. i usually do 20g coffee to 200ml water about a 10-11 ratio. this tastes kinda like a 15-16 ratio. i think this is just personal preference as I am just used to drinking more concentrated coffee than standard. my grind is also smaller thus if i extract to long, the coffee becomes bitter... anyways, pour over is a science with grind size, pour process and ratios all contributing to the flavor profile... not to mention the beans itself.. the only thing i would have wanted is a flight of different beans so I can try a variety and thus purchase the beans i like perhaps i should have instructed them to do a 10-11 ratio. anyways, the breakfast burrito was good and the place looks to be a really nice spot to hang as well. decided not to buy any beans.. perhaps i will mail order and try the other beans once I need to replenish my beans in a month or so

Punjabi Affair is easily one of the best spots in Amarillo for authentic Indian food. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced in every dish we tried. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, the naan came out hot and fresh, and the biryani had the perfect amount of spice and aroma. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere for both family dinners and casual nights out. If you're looking for authentic Punjabi and Indian cuisine with generous portions and amazing flavor, Punjabi Affair is definitely worth visiting. I was having people over and I really wanted them to taste some Indian, but I didn't quite have it in the budget to get the 20 samosas that I wanted. Instead, the owners offered to hand make me 20 smaller sized ones so that I could purchase them. They were AMAZING! So good, just the right amount of spice too. I couldn't believe they would make that special order for me. It was so nice, and my guests LOVED them. I also got the lamb biryani. Oh.My.Goodness! Sooooo tender, so wonderful. I live 2 hours away, and I promise you, it's worth the drive. I will be going back every time I'm in Amarillo. I literally go to Amarillo for my shopping because of this place. You can smell the spices as soon as you walk in. The place is super cute, clean and the staff was very nice. The food is INCREDIBLE. The first bite (and every one after) made me feel like I had just gotten hugs from my favorite people in the world, then curled up in a blanket next to the fireplace. Definitely my new comfort food. Spice wise, mild is true mild and the next up was perfect for me. The mild did allow the other flavors to come through a little better. Best Indian food, professionally made, in a pop up sytle restaurant. Our group included first time and veteran Indian food eaters and ALL of us were pleasantly delighted with the dishes we chose. When we ordered, the proprietor was instrumental in helping us choose a variety of dishes. Ratner than taking the "safe" route and all ordering the same thing, she made 3 very good suggestions. It's been hard enough to find an Indian restaurant in Amarillo, and then along come these guys with a drive-up / walk-up Indian Fusion concept that really impresses. Not only is the food fantastic (try the fish!), but the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and the service is "welcome home" friendly. Unfortunately, my experience with the chicken tikka masala was extremely disappointing. The first thing I noticed was the overwhelming smell of old fenugreek. The smell was so strong that it completely overpowered the dish, and unfortunately the taste matched it. After the first bite, I immediately noticed that the texture did not seem like chicken at all -- it had the consistency of paneer. After checking the dish more carefully, I found actual chicken pieces mixed in with what appeared to be paneer-like chunks. It looked as though something other than chicken had been added to make the dish appear fuller. I called the restaurant to simply ask how their chicken tikka masala is prepared and whether there was anything other than chicken in the gravy. The response I received was that there was only chicken. When I explained that I had chunks of something that appeared to be paneer in the dish, the response suddenly changed to, "Oh, it's eggs." As someone who grew up eating North Indian food, I have never encountered eggs being added to chicken tikka masala, and more importantly, this was never disclosed anywhere on their menu. Their website describes the dish as "chicken baked in clay oven and cooked with mild sauce" -- there is no mention of eggs, paneer, or any other ingredient that could be a concern for someone with allergies. When I brought up the concern that someone with an egg allergy would have no way of knowing this, the response I received was simply, "You need to tell me." I explained that when ordering online, customers can only go off the information provided on the menu. Instead of acknowledging the issue, I was met with the same dismissive response. The conversation continued to become more unprofessional. When I questioned the way I was being spoken to, the person responded that this was how he talked to customers and then hung up on me. For anyone who is new to Indian food and is looking for an authentic experience, I would strongly caution you. This was the furthest thing from the North Indian food I grew up eating. Authentic Indian cuisine is built around carefully balanced spices, proper preparation, and transparency about ingredients -- not masking questionable additions or dismissing customer concerns. Whether this was the owner or an employee, the attitude and lack of accountability were unacceptable. A restaurant should be transparent about its ingredients, especially when allergens are involved, and should treat customers with basic respect when concerns are raised. The food quality was disappointing, but the customer service was even worse. I cannot recommend Sai Indian Cuisine based on this experience.

It was all delish and all reheats well! Service was quick and pleasant! On a Thursday night at 8pm they were mostly empty so we got right in! Great for parties big or small. If you are in the neighborhood give these guys a try!

We went to this place because it was near our hotel. It was great. I had the Ginger with Vegetables…read moreand fried rice, SO had the Garlic with pork. There was plenty of fresh ginger in the dish and lots of fresh veg. Onion, snow peas, carrot, broccoli, in a tasty brown sauce. SO said the Garlic dish was a little salty but he enjoyed it. Prices were fair and portions were good. The service was very good, we were checked on a couple of times, the food came quickly. Worth a visit if you're in the area and want something fresh.
