We're happy to be there. We're buying your coffee. A little friendliness goes a long way. In retrospect, I should have just walked across the street to Starbucks. At Starbucks, I'm already accustomed to everyone hating their lives and their jobs while they hand me my coffee. At least I know what I'm getting -- and it's actually cheaper.
