We were greeted by one of the staff and then given a kiosk demo by another staff member, who offered a complimentary drink to each of us (coke products or two lemonade or fruit punch choices, not too sweet, thanks!) Friendly people, and that is always appreciated. You can choose premade selections or customize a dizzying array of choices, noodle (egg or rice), rice grain, protein--shrimp, chicken, beef, tofu, and sauces and toppings. You'll probably want the app to figure out what you want as standing at the kiosk and figuring it out is not optimal. Then you can customize your bowl and order it from your car seat or armchair. I got the Coconut Curry (like a Thai red curry) with chicken, pineapple and added spinach. It had jalapeno and cilantro. Just the right amount of heat for me but the pineapple was bland (seemed to be canned in juice tidbits.) I enjoyed it however and had about 2 cups worth, so ate one cup and saved the rest for a snack. My dining partner had the special Buffalo Chicken bowl with egg noodles, bleu cheese crumbles and Buffalo sauce. This tasted actually quite good, tangy and just enough heat also (we like medium heat in our food from peppers.) He ate all of it. Vegetarians and Vegans will have many choices. Not sure the truly gluten free will be safe; you'd need a staff trained to have a dedicated gluten-free station and knowledge of cross contamination. There are gluten-free choices but if it's safe for the truly celiac who cannot have cross-contamination, that I cannot say. The cost for two was about 30 (no drink included...that was comped) and we did tip. These days, that is a reasonable lunch for two. That's the good news. The less-than good news. Big eaters will not be filled up. It's a cereal bowl-sized portion of noodles so if you are a big eater, you'll want maybe more. And I am still a bit hungry now, even though I saved half of my lunch. (I'm not a big eater.) And the uh, ambience--or lack thereof. Loud music and loud noises. I guess the music is to cover the clanging sounds of wok cooking but it wasn't great music and the noise level was distressing to me. I know we Americans like it loud and proud but I love quiet and found it uncomfortable. There is an outdoor patio for better weather. We'll be back (to sit outside in the patio on the parking lot.)
