Clean and well-lit; I especially appreciated that it didn't have the overwhelming polish remover smell associated with some salons. I chose the $40 pedicure (one up from the basic, can't remember what it was called). I thought the leg massage part was a little brief but other than that, the pedicure was fine. After reading some reviews here on Yelp and on Facebook, I decided to give Ken & Kelly's a try (it helped that they were actually open on a Sunday). Thank goodness they are here! Upon walking in, the salon itself is very bright and light, open and airy and most of all, C L E A N. As i waited at the counter, i noticed on every nail tech's cart were fresh packs of tools. This was already leaps and bounds ahead of the last place i went. Vincent did my mani, and I could not be any happier with it. Before the finishing touches, i could already see the outline of my nail shape and there were no visible brush strokes. The time went very quickly, as Vincent is extremely friendly, personable and conversational. I have 100% found the only spot I will go to for my nails. Although the first time, the girl had to call someone else over to show her how to do it (around 65, if I remember correctly). So I tried their top tier artist (90$) and she made my hair much shorter than I wanted. I don't feel like she has the experience with curly hair. I made appointments that day. I continued to make phone calls, with questions & every time I spoke to someone who was knowledgeable and patient. The day of the wedding, all of the hair dressers were so upbeat & fun to be around. They each took their time to give each of us the look we were going for! I have to say they made the whole bridal party look fabulous! This is a terrific salon & I'm glad we chose it! They even let us bring in the makings for mimosas!!!
