Everyone was super friendly! Came as a walk in and they were able to fit me in for a gel pedi and standard manicure. The area they do pedicures has a waterfall that separates you from the others getting manicures and it's very relaxing. I ended up bumping my thumb into my wallet and the nail tech was quick to adjust it before drying. First of all misleading name, I thought this nail salon was going to offer sustainable polishes. They do not and the fumes from acrylics was strong. The nail tech, Dan, used a dremel tool to remove all my gel polish, not just the top coat. I feel this damages your nails, and is lazy. My cuticles were not pushed back or trimmed. I chose an OPI color. I'm not sure if the paint was bad or the tech did not prep my nails well, my nails came out bumpy and uneven in color. I also had the feeling he was rushing me through. My daughter had dip done and her nails turned out great. I will try a different nail salon the next time so am in Green Bay. Disappointing. read more

Okay - I wasn't sure based on the other Yelp reviews - but it seemed inconsistent so I checked their Facebook page. It was a really great experience! Friendly staff and a nice, calm room for a pedicure. Everything seemed very clean and updated. It was so relaxing, I forgot to push the button for my massage chair Relized it 10 minutes in. I would definitely go back again. Four stars because I wish they would have offered a drink when I got there. I needed a manicure and pedicure and decided to give Lavender a try. I was really unsure because I had seen some mixed reviews, but I made a reservations couple days before and took a chance. I am very glad I did, I had a great experience from the first phone call until I left after my services. First, the receptionist is very polite, never met her before but she is so kind and helpful and she has a manner of speaking to people that makes you feel like she's known you her whole life. Next, the lady that did my nails was so nice, took the time to listen and shaped my nails exactly how I like them. Last, the pedicure was amazing! I love the pedicure room in the back away from the nail salon. It's quiet so the atmosphere is relaxing and you can really enjoy your service without having to listen to all the other chatter and bright lights. The young man that did my pedicure was was so nice, had a threat sense of humor and did a great job (considering what he had to work with, I have ugly feet). Another thing I appreciate about the pedicure is they have liners in the bowl so they are more hygienic than just spraying and cleaning. Lavender is clean and smells like lavender, not just a clever name, this helps you relax even more. Like everyone else they are hit with high credit card fees so if you use a credit or debit card there is a $1.50 up charge which they are very open about, I will bring cash next time. Also if you get a gel or Shelac mani they have a two week guarantee which is also posted albeit hard to see. Prices are reasonable in my opinion, I did see reviews here that felt they were high but I think the prices are competitive and reasonable for the quality of the services and the experience. Absolutely THE best pedicure I've ever had -- and possibly the most beautiful background. They do an incredible job with the nails, cuticles, massage (where applicable), and overall quality. I got the $20 basic manicure with a "gel" polish. As you can see from the pictures it was a rush job with terrible edges, air bubbles, misshapen nails, nail polish left on the skin, and spots with no polish on them. I literally could have done this myself. read more

Went here on Saturday with 3 of my friends. None of us loved the experience. On the positive side, the pedicure room is very relaxing and the leg massage was great. For both my pedicure and my manicure my cuticles were untouched. My toenail polish is already coming off around the cuticles. The manicure was where I had the biggest issue. My nails were cut down without asking how long I wanted them or what shape I wanted. I kept asking for oval and he kept shaping them square. It felt like he was rushing. My first time here and I'm not from here. I notice 5 star so I decide to come for a mani/ dip powder. The place really nice and clean and the staff are friendly. The tech did a great job no complain there but when I choose the color it wasn't what I wanted. I personally don't like red I was going for peach or semi pink. The gel dip manicure looked good when done, even nails, pretty paint and was well done. Prices are higher than other places in town for not any more service. Most other gel dips I've gotten last over 2 weeks sometime over 3. This one lasted a week and 3 days and 2 nails had the gel just fall off. Rest were loose on edges already. Was not swimming or anything that would cause them to not last. Went to get them removed and they charged $12 for that, even tho we got them done there and they fell off super fast. Did not offer to fix and told us that was a long time. Our friend who got them done with us had 2 fall off same day too. Very small space, nowhere to wait, all waiting seats taken (only 4). I would say they need to change the atmosphere slightly...the rock music that is always playing throws off the relaxation vibe and it's just coming from a small speaker and doesn't fill the space with background noise very well so it a little awkward listening to everyone's conversations or the silence. I think they could have a TV or two on the wall for people to watch vs the little speaker with music. read more

Discovered this nail salon when my usual place couldn't get me in. I requested the herbal pedicure and was not disappointed. They led me back to a peaceful room with dimmed lights, massage chairs, spa music, and a full wall water feature. A lavender leg mask, citrus sugar scrub, hot towels, and relaxing pedicure followed. My daughter and I went in on my birthday to treat ourselves. One tech started working on her and 10 minutes later, a gentleman came and started working on me. I had been watching the treatments she was receiving while I waited and I counted 4 treatments that she got that I didnt because the gentleman that I got was just trying to play catch up so we ended at the same time. I felt like I was man handled (literally) and not treated to a relaxing treatment. The gal that took care of my daughter did an awesome job. Lavender nails is a pretty amazing place to get your nails done. They have definitely revamped the site to make it a lot calmer and more relaxing. It is to the point that I would discard any of the reviews that are more than a year old. There aren't any TVs to watch, but calming intramental music is playing. My biggest piece of advice is to ask not to get Dante. While most reviews don't mention him by name, I can tell he is the source of most negative reviews. He has done my nails twice, and I felt rushed and dissatisfied both times. He doesn't speak or understand English very well, and I can tell that this majorly affects his customer service and ability to give customers what they want. Tonya- the other male tech- is excellent from what I have heard, especially if it is your first time at the soland. I highly recommend getting a girl to do your nails, but at the very minimum, don't get Dante. read more

Great experience. Same day appointment which I really appreciated. Staff creates a wonderful experience. I am traveling on vacation (Sprinter Van) right now and overdue for nail services. This salon's pedicure chairs are in a very relaxing separate room from the manicure area. Had mani/pedi done during a busy time for them and did not feel shorted or rushed.
