By far the most expensive place to get your nails done. Paid $65 for a nail refill, and they don't tell you until after, that there's a 10% card fee for using your card. My total was $80 after tip and card fee. Do not recommend, not worth it at all. My friend got a new set on and paid $115. I can say that the ladies who did our nails were very nice, but otherwise it's a rip off. read more

I have visited Ken & Kelly's two times and had the same experience both times. When I go have a manicure and pedicure I want to relax and enjoy the services. Both times they have had one person doing my toes and another person doing my hands. That is not relaxing. If they ever asked me if this was preferable I would tell them no....its just awkward and not relaxing. It feels like a rush every time I'm there. As far as the actual work. My pedicures have been okay but the manicures no cuticle work and the nail polish chips way before it should. The salon could use a little freshen up with decor. I may try them again someday but for now there are several other places I'd visit first. read more

I walked in on a weekday afternoon with no appointment. The weather outside was horrible so maybe that's why they weren't busy. Regardless, I was able to get taken care of immediately. I don't get my nails done often. I had just returned from a cruise where I had had my nails done and was hoping to continue keeping them pretty. Linh did an excellent job. I just moved back to GB after living in NYC for 12 years. I loved my nail salon in NYC and was worried about finding one back here that would rival it. My 1st powder dip manicure at a DIFFERENT nail salon was a total nightmare. After reading some reviews here on Yelp and on Facebook, I decided to give Ken & Kelly's a try (it helped that they were actually open on a Sunday). Thank goodness they are here! Upon walking in, the salon itself is very bright and light, open and airy and most of all, C L E A N. As i waited at the counter, i noticed on every nail tech's cart were fresh packs of tools. This was already leaps and bounds ahead of the last place i went. Vincent did my mani, and I could not be any happier with it. Before the finishing touches, i could already see the outline of my nail shape and there were no visible brush strokes. The time went very quickly, as Vincent is extremely friendly, personable and conversational. I have 100% found the only spot I will go to for my nails. It cost me $60 to get my nails refilled. They entirely redid my thumbs and both nails chipped within the same day in which I got them done. The polish chipped on my index finger two days after the appointment. I'm really disappointed in the shaping of the nails as well. Overall, it was the most expensive refill I've ever had and the results were extremely disappointing and immediately got worse within a few days of the appointment. read more

I can't believe I went back to this place. Last summer had a real RUSH JOB manicure, with little care to my cuticles, no hand massage. Very disappointed. But I was in the area and remember FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNERS actually, what a great place it was. Was. So I returned this week and it was the same thing. "Low on staff" excuse, rush, rush. No chit chat, just a somber quick job. My polish is coming off already, a day later. The place is all-round unprofessional. I saw somewhat better interaction with some of the other staff. I imagine that if you luck out with someone you like and return to same person, you can be satisfied. I don't live in the area to do that. As well, the place needs some serious cleaning, it was really dirty. The "booths", floors, the bathroom, the counters were almost gross. Boxes and junk lined against walls, sodas sitting around. Great service when they are actually there when they say they will be there. Came 3 times before their posted closing time and they had already left for the evening. Best to call ahead so you don't waste your time coming to a closed store during their posted business hours. Wish I had finished my review months ago when I visited this place. I can't believe that they would discriminate against anyone though. The only thing they could possibly discriminate against is Bears fans! They have TVs tuned into the Packers game on any given Sunday! My husband made a "funny" remark about how he didn't know that Wisconsin enjoyed football and they both gave him death stares. I thought she would take it out on my nails! In any case, I smoothed it with the "he's just trying to be funny" and they kind of chilled a bit and then opened up about all their trips to Chicago for supplies a few times a year and to visit family/friends. Looks like a husband and wife team. Both are pleasant enough and the mani/pedi that I received was comparable to most Chicago places just a great deal roomier. It's a very large space with lots of stations. Prices too are comparable with other salons in the area and since it's a larger space, I would imagine that getting gels or pink and whites wouldn't be as toxic smelling as some of the smaller joints. The salon is in a strip mall with lots of parking and easy to get to with a Starbucks real close. I think I went there on a slow day cause everyone was watching the "game". In fact, when we went down town, I found that no one was out in the streets either. Green Bay really takes football serious. It's a religious thing for them. Streets are clear, salons and most stores are slow, bars are packed and tailgating is part of the experience. read more

First time and last time. Main reason is that I have NEVER paid $37 for a fill with Shellac. Second - my nail polish is not evenly coated. Lumpy. For $37 my nails should be perfect. Lastly, my cuticles hurt so bad, the person doing my nail was actually on my skin with the drill. read more

I finally found a place in Green Bay where I love getting my nails done! I have been getting my nails done here for maybe a year, and have never had a bad experience. I have had many different nail techs, each very talented, and everyone has always been very kind and professional. I have never been turned down when asking for a design. Very reasonably priced in my opinion, very comparable to other salons in the area. They recently changed management, and also upgraded their pedicure chairs. The inside of the salon is very clean and beautiful. Please don't make any judgements based on reviews from years ago! I genuinely believe this to be the best nail salon in the Green Bay area. I have had my nails done several times by Ken and he is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Just three small things to be aware of: 1. They have a punch card - 10 punches and you get 10% off your next service, and you get two punches if you pay cash. Pretty good deal IMO, especially if you get more than one service done per visit. 2. You can pay with card for the service, but tipping is preferred in cash. 3. Hours on Google may not be accurate since COVID/new management - I might call ahead of time just to be safe. read more

I've been going there for a year now and they just lost my business forever and my friends and family!! My nails broke less then 2 weeks after getting them was charged 67 dollars and then I go in and they say "we will make it right" to be charged 52.00!!! WTF!!! What is making that right??? So disappointed loved the staff but that is just awful!!! Plus do they even sanitize between clients? I didn't see any of that going on! No washing hands between customers!! read more

Just moved out of state a couple months ago and was looking for my new regular nail salon. My husband happened to see that this place was under new management with amazing reviews. Ken and Kelly's nails do not disappoint. Vincent hooked me with his amazing customer service and I really enjoyed Tiffany's great personality. Tiffany took the time to transform my man hands from short and stubby to feminine and chic. I love love love that this is a family owned business that really knows what they are doing. Do not go here if you want your gel/shellac to last more than a week. I had polish peel off of multiple finger nails completely and went back for a re-paint. The owner said they do not guarantee it after a week as it isn't on them. Isn't that the point of spending more on gel/shellac? I have been going here for years (first time getting gel/shellac), all I wanted was for her to fix her mistake (there was never a base added under the polish) and instead she was very rude to me. I was hurt and frustrated by how I was treated and will not return. read more

I got my nails done at ken and Kelly salon on a Thursday evening and by Saturday morning the edges on my dip nails had chipped off. I called ken and Kelly and they were more than happy to fix the issue (great customer service in that aspect) but when I was there the nail tech had told me the reason they didnt stay is because he didn't use a specific coat because he had ran out when I got them done the first time. I was curious as to why he would tell me that in the first place knowing my nails would not last. I left with all my nails fix and not even a day later they started to break again. I am very disappointed about my nails because I loved their customer service and atmosphere. Hopefully they can fix whatever issue they are having. read more

This was an awful experience. I called and scheduled an appointment and they told me they had openings so I went in on my lunch. The girl at the front desk set up my pedicure station and sat down to do my nails, little to my knowledge she was a quarter of the way through said pedicure and told me she hasnt even been to nail school yet and this is a summer job...............But shes getting really good or so she says, as shes doing my nails her hair is physically touching my feet because she doesnt have the courtesy to pull it back. I finally asked her politely to get the hair out of the polish she is putting on and she took the polish off and left me stranded for 20 minutes and by that point I was going to be late going back to work. I am not one to leave negative reviews but this is something that I feel was unacceptable. If you do not have an available Nail tech available for an appointment dont book one! There was only one girl in there working and one guy came up to the door not to greet me but to say we're closing soon so we can't do anymore. Ken & Kelly's discriminates against the elderly. These ageists turned away a friend's elderly mother yesterday when she went there for a manicure. She had been there once before and her caregiver indicated that they were very rude to her. She was greeted at the door and told they "no longer did manicures" which is a complete LIE. My friend later called to confirm this information and was told they did both pedis and manis. There are TONS of nail salons in the Green Bay area. Take your money to one that treats ALL of its customers with respect, regardless of age. read more

I had a shellac polish done on Friday, April 18, 2014 for $30+tip. I had to look through a box of polishes to pick my color from the bottles--no example set of nails. I had to soak my hands in acetone to get my previous polish off (vs the attendant putting cotton balls with tin foil on each finger). I am not sure if that bowl of acetone was disposed of or poured back into the big bottle in the back... She shaped my nails well, but her application of polish and top coat was horrible. I got home and could have peeled every nail off had I not sort of trimmed them with my fingernails, just removing the polishes over my cuticles. I will likely not go to Ken & Kelly's again. read more
