I never got the chance to hit up the Bay Shore location before it closed, so I was excited to finally check this out. ​First off, the place is stunning--total Instagram goals. The ambiance is everything. Honestly, they had me at "girl dinner"--I mean, $25 for a martini, Caesar salad, and truffle fries? Yes, please. I went subbed mine with a cosmopolitan. I'm a total sucker for a good charcuterie board, we had to order that, too. I also grabbed a lemon drop, and we ended the night by splitting the cannoli crumb cake. Our bartender Michael was a doll. I recently visited ITA Kitchen and had a great experience! The restaurant is super aesthetically pleasing! Definitely a nice vibe as soon as you walk in. The staff was nothing short of amazing. We stopped here for Easter dinner and had a fantastic experience! Our waiter, Aiden P, was incredible. Super attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He made great suggestions such as subbing out gnocchi for rigatoni on my ITA Parm. We really appreciated his expertise and the quality of our meals reflected his suggestions. The food was great, some of the best modern Italian food I've had. The bread service was great, the appetizers were wonderful, and my ITA Parm was so good. The sauce was insanely tasty and I'm already craving more! Thankfully, there were plenty of leftovers! Dessert was good as well, nothing crazy but I appreciated Aiden ensuring I had a safe option with my nut allergy. My cocktail, the ITA, was also very tasty! Interior is clean and modern. Had the opportunity to check out the very highly recommended ITA Kitchen. A group of us made reservations for a Saturday night, which I recommend doing if you'll be dinning at dinner time on a weekend. When we got there it was relatively quiet but it quickly filled up. The server, Anthony was great. Answered any questions we had and didn't make us feel rushed as we chatted away. I selected the chicken picante since I'm a sucker for anything cherry pepper related. I was able to get it over linguine with the spinach on the side, which allowed the sauce to not be overpowering. Easy to get a last minute reservation. Location is great! The decor is so cute and so is the presentation of their food and drinks. While I found the food to be on the pricier side, it was tasty. The vodka parm was yummy, huge portion. Would have loved to see a half portion option! The tableside mozzarella was delicious but you are paying the price for the tableside presentation. The sals mac chicken was lacking a sauce, but it was good. The rainbow cookie martini was my favorite part. It was super unique, as were most of their cocktails. Great experience here. Came this week with my husband and daughter. Although no kid's menu, we ordered her penne with marinara. Hubby ordered the money bags with a cutlet on top and I ordered spicy rigatoni without too much spice. The bread that was brought to our table was smothered in garlic and oil. It was ok but would've liked it better without too much on it. The fried calamari did not come in a big portion. Could've been crispier and was not a fan of the sauce. My husband loved his money bag pasta as I with my meal. The spice can get pretty intense and hot so I'm glad they were able to scale it back. My daughter loved her meal. The good was superb! We ordered from Nonnas dinner special. The Nonna salad, calamari, eggplant parm and chicken Marsala were perfectly cooked and our cannoli crumb cake dessert was to die for. The service was excellent from bus boys to our waitress and waiter in training ( I want to say her name was Victoria and his John but I'm bad at names so I'm hoping they know how wonderful they made our dimming experience! ITA was incredible. They are known for their "chicken cutlet bowls" where you get your pasta entree served in a bowl made of a hot, crispy, fried chicken cutlet. It's a must try for first timers! (Or return customers too!) We also had their table side mozzarella where they make and stretch the cheese at tableside and serve it up with tomatoes and a balsamic drizzle. We were dying to come here to eat as we've been to just about every place in Patchogue. Finally made our way there the other night and Jenna was our Waitress. She did well, was very personable and answered all of our questions without issue. Made solid recommendations and ultimately was a great server. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but whoever the manager was that night that bumps elbows with the guests was also pretty awesome. Made small conversation with us at the table and even gave us a complementary dessert. All in all it was a great experience. The food was very very good and every drink that we ordered was phenomenal. I have nothing bad to say about this place. And we will absolutely be back. PS.... If you choose to order the pizzette with Nutella for dessert make sure that you eat it when it comes out because we took it home and we did not realize that it was an actual Pizza. This place has been all over every Tik Tok for Long Island foodies. You walk in and it's meant for taking great social media shots. The dining room has flowers and vines hanging from the ceiling, green walls with neon lights, and the beautiful bar area where a DJ is set up! The service was amazing, they explained the menu thoroughly and talked through their most popular options. I came with my 2 girlfriends, we made a reservation for Friday night at 5 pm. When we came in, it was very empty. By the time we left at 7 pm it was wall to wall packed, so make a reservation. We started with the meat ball app, which was yummy. I was dying to try that table side mozzarella, everyone around us was getting it. Each of us ordered a pasta dish in a chicken cutlet bowl. We tried the money bags, truffle gnocchi and spicy rigatoni. We tried one another's and all were amazing. Each pasta dish is about $25 and then you add another $20 for the chicken bowl. I know $45-$50 for a pasta dish is a lot, but the portions were huge. Honestly, I ate my meal over 3 days it was so big. I will definitely come back here, but I would order more apps and share one of those giant entrees! read more

I came here for my birthday with my parents and my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I have been to the Bay Shore location about two years ago and I remember that we really enjoyed it. It's been far too long so this is where I decided to celebrate my birthday dinner. To start we had delicious calamari. It was lightly fried and not heavy. The marinara sauce was delicious and complimented the calamari well. The bread basket we ordered was good. It had three different kinds of bread that were so yummy and airy. No butter or dipping oil needed. I was set on ordering one thing for my entree but then I heard the daily specials! I ended up getting the money bag special. It was absolutely spectacular, mouthwatering, delectable...I could go on and on about this dish. Other things that were ordered included baked chicken parm, Burrata ravioli and ricotta ravioli. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal. For dessert we had the fried rainbow cookies and tiramisu. All enjoyed as well. Service was wonderful too. We had Sal M as our waiter and he was great. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my wife and son here this past Thursday. Fantastic salmon presentation with a savory chili sauce topping; a fresh seafood dish with perfectly cooked pasta and a flavorful oil and garlic sauce and finally J J 's Money Bags; a delicious pasta , purses stuffed with ricotta , finished with a creamy bechamel sauce. My wife loved it along with the warm brownie sundae for dessert. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff was professional and very friendly. ITA has been on my list for a while and I was excited to finally try it on my last visit to Long Island. My friends and I had a girls night and made a reservation beforehand. We were seated upon our arrival to the restaurant by a friendly server. We sat in the bar area. The bar area and main dining room were decorated very nicely- they were definitely decorated for an Instagrammable moment. The menu was pretty large and it was hard to make a decision. We ordered a bottle of wine to share and the risotto balls to share. The risotto balls were very tasty! For dinner I ordered the caprese with the crown on top. WOW it so much cheese but so much flavor! It was a large portion I had plenty for leftovers the next day. We finished our meal by sharing the rainbow cookie sundae which was also delicious but a bit pricy for what you got in my opinion. All in all I think ITA is a great addition to patchogue. Had a reservation for a table of 13 people for 6:15pm and we didn't get seated until around 6:40. We had to stand in a small entry way where people had to walk in by the door and we kept having to move for the wait staff to get by/people to come in and leave. They sat like 6 groups before us and seemed to be understaffed. We waited over an hour for food (someone came and checked on us asking "how is everything" and we said well we don't have anything yet!). We also had to flag someone down because we weren't being checked on and there were people in our party that wanted drinks put in. When the food did come out it came very scattered and some of the plates were cold. They also completely forgot about someone at our table and didn't put her order in so everyone at our table was asking for food boxes when her food had just arrived. Our table complained to the manger about the service because we were there celebrating two birthdays and it was all of our first times there. After we complained they served us complementary cannolis and offered free shots to us. The food was really good but super expensive for how rough the service was. My plate of pasta was $32 with no protein. It was a big portion though. Overall the service seemed super disorganized like no one knew what was going on. The waiter was nice but seriously such brutal service. We ended up being there for 2 and a half hours (didn't leave until 8:45pm on a Sunday evening). We will not be coming back. read more

I will be honest in saying I was nervous coming during opening week. I usually like to give a restaurant time to work out the kinks. My worries we're thrown out as everything was perfect. A lot of the staff is from the pop up location so they were well trained. Atmosphere is lovely. Love how it is decorated with all the flowers. Plenty of seating. Our waiter was Rashad. He couldn't have been nicer. Knowledgeable on the menu. I am celiac so anything he wasn't certain on he got a quick answer. So many gluten free options and ways to modify non gf menu items. I came home feeling fine. No issues. We started with the table side mozzarella. Delicious. My husband had the pork chop and I had penne with chicken, it was a spicy creamy sauce which was lovely. Love at first bite! I'm thrilled ITA Kitchen found a home in Patchogue. As much as I like the village's pizzerias, it was in need of a classy Italian restaurant. ITA's menu includes a variety of Italian favorites, from raviolis and gnocchi to chicken parm and linguine with shrimp. I enjoyed the chicken burrata caprese -- it was delicious! Between the pan-fried chicken, red onion, heirloom tomato, and arugula topped with mozzarella, I ate my entire meal! And the portions are pretty big! The untrained wait staff (all 3) were handling a full house and were absolutely clueless, confused and running around with no support. Food was average strip mall pizzeria quality. Loud, with tables and chairs close together so be prepared if you are foolish enough to waste your money here to have your chair bashed every 30 sec. Came here for a late dinner on a Friday night with a handful of friends. Starting with ambiance, this is a place that so wants to thrive on the Instagram influencer style. Neon lights, fake ivy wall, loud club like music. Not necessarily offensive, but not exactly my ideal when I'm going out to dinner. The food options definitely cater to that influencer ideal of being over the top, with their options for chicken bowls and "crowning" everything with burrata. It's a fun idea, but it's a little too much for me personally (not to say I won't come back to try it at least once though!). To drink I got the toddfather, a slightly more citrusy take on an old fashioned. Was nice and well made, no complaints. My girlfriend got a little heavy handed margarita, but she wasn't complaining about getting her money's worth! For dinner I got the chicken picante, basically a spicier version of chicken francaise. As tasty as it was, for a dish labeled as spicy, I would have liked to have more peppers than chicken cutlets at the least. But otherwise, portion size was the perfect size for me. There are plenty of other luxurious options id love to try here, but honestly it's more for the novelty than the quality. You go to a place like this for the experience more so than the quality, because it's good, but it's not blowing me out of the water either. Parking in Patchogue can really be terrible, so you might have to walk a little from one of the town lots since ITA has no parking of its own. read more

After seeing this restaurant all over TikTok, we decided to give it a try. We called ahead, made reservations, and drove 30 minutes with high expectations. When we arrived, the atmosphere was undeniably cute and inviting, which initially made the trip feel worthwhile. We told our waiter that we had seen a specific dish on TikTok and described it to him--the Sals fried chicken bowl. He immediately knew what we were referring to, so we confidently placed our order. For our appetizer, we ordered the baked clams. Unfortunately, they were extremely disappointing. They were completely tasteless, with what seemed like plain breadcrumbs thrown on top. The texture was gritty--almost like sand--and there was absolutely no flavor. I couldn't even taste the clams themselves. After that, our entrées took over 30 minutes to arrive, only for them to be incorrect. When we flagged down the waiter, he said, "Oh, you wanted it that way." I clarified that yes, we did--exactly as we had explained earlier and as he had acknowledged. He was apologetic and took the dish back. About 15 minutes later, the dish returned. It was the same pasta, clearly just modified with the add-on we originally requested. By then, it was ice cold. Even worse, the flavor was completely bland. At that point, we accepted that we simply did not enjoy the dish. When the bill arrived, the pricing was shocking. Each pasta was $33. Adding chicken was an additional $20, and adding mozzarella was another $6--bringing each bowl of pasta to $49. While the portion size was large, it didn't justify the price given that the food was cold, flavorless, and poorly executed. Overall, this was a disappointing experience that did not live up to the hype. A viral TikTok appearance can spark interest, but flavor, execution, and value are what truly matter--and unfortunately, this place missed the mark. read more

ITA was a super groovy establishment that I throughly enjoyed with my wife on our anniversary. We got there early, but they received us thanks to the bartender (I think her name was Jenna; she was great and her drink were killer), who told the maître D to let us in and sit at the table for Happy Hour. To be fair, their sign read Happy Hour from 4-7 Monday to Friday, but once inside I saw that their menu said something different (more aligned with what the lady at the front indicated). This is something they may want to fix. I'm glad we were let in because we had a pleasant time. It wasn't busy, yet the vibe was still pretty rocking. The food was fantastic and plentiful! I'm glad that the owner/manager stop by to asks our thoughts on the experience; I really like establishment where they want to find out how you feel while in their restaurant. It's a plus for me! i've had good experiences here and poor ones. last night we had a 6p res they were rushing us out by 720 there was hardly anyone in there. waitress was kind of rude and said she could split up our tab but it would take a while, so was insinuating they don't want to. got gnocchi w burrata it wasn't that warm and it wasn't great, for $30 you expect something pretty tasty. gave me a tiny bite of buratta on top for $4 and $10 for bottled water but tap isn't safe? so why charge for drinking water. paid $20 for a strawberry basil lemonade in a tiny tiny glass and my friend got charged $60 for something she saw on instagram on a chicken cutlet. insane. place is cute though but overhyped and ig is better than what you get read more
