I have been on a hunt for good Italian food in the area, let's just say the hunt continues. I had a House Salad w/balsamic vinaigrette, Lasagna, and a few of the extra garlic knots. The salad was good to go, the lasagna not so much it was watery and the temperature was a bit off. The cheese was heavy on one side and light on the other. The service was great and the conversation that I had with the staff while waiting on my food was pleasant, but as I said the search will continue.

Easy enough to get to and had parking adjacent to the building. Inside was pretty spacious and we were seated right away for dinner. Service was fine. They serve you some bread, that was good, garlic and buttery rolls. We ordered the tour of Italy and tortellini siciliano. Tour of Italy was good since I couldn't make a decision. The Alfredo was creamy and rich. The chicken Parmesan was good too and the lasagna. It would've liked them a little more separated, so the chicken would stay a little more crispy. The tortellini siciliano was also good plenty of tortellini and the sausage was tasty too.

I went with the mushroom truffle tagliatelle and it was super rich and earthy. The truffle flavor was definitely noticeable but not too strong, and the mushrooms were sautéed just right. The noodles had great texture and were clearly fresh. Honestly felt like something I'd get at a more upscale place. Service was attentive but not pushy, and our food came out fast. The ambiance was calm and relaxed with soft lighting, which made for a really pleasant evening. Not the cheapest pasta but I think it was worth it for the quality. I'd come back and try one of their other dishes.

This is a quaint little restaurant that has great potential. Where we sat there was a picture that was really pretty dirty with not sure what. The young lady who waited on us did her best I believe. The garlic knots where very hard and I doubt fresh. We asked about the Chef's specials and we were informed they were left over from the Mother's Day special. We did order them. Shrimp and veal lemonaise and ShrimpAlls casa. The young server dis share her disappoint of serving veal. They are both very good... even with a side of guilt. The Tiramisu was good and not made in house but very good!

The bread rolls came a bit late they were still warm and good when they came out. My meal, Alla panna was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! oh my gosh even the person u with got one and it was so insanely good. The service was good. The waitress was very nice and personable. The ambiance in there was very casual, not many people there, quiet, soft lighting. There was lots of wine.

My friend and I came in here for a pasta dinner the night before a half marathon. We both ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and it was very underwhelming. The best part of the meal was the garlic knots that came out at the beginning.

Uncheck this one as I had it bookmarked on Yelp. This was our first visit. We arrived early (4:30pm) to avoid a crowd. Upon entering we were the only customers, until we ordered then a few more tables were seated. This is were the issue started, there was only one waitress. I heard her say she was sorry to the table next to us about 5 times as their order was all mixed up. Therefore there was no attention given to us as she tried to fix it, we asked to have our water refilled but that didn't happen. It even took about 10 minutes to get our check once we asked for it. The fried calamari appetizer and complimentary bread was delicious. The veal picatta only had 5 small skinny strips of veal in it. See the attached pic, this was very disappointing given the $15.99 cost. The meat ravioli was mediocre at best. The marinara sauce was on the sweet side, too sweet for our taste buds. Maybe because I had bookmarked this restaurant, I had high hopes for this place. But the poor service made the experience not good. I do understand that everyone has a bad night, and not all experiences are like ours. But the lack of veal in the main entree and the too sweet marinara sauce, we are thinking we will not return. I hope your experience is better than ours. Sorry, just being honest.

The garlic knots and pasta was good. Piping hot, don't burn your tongue! The ambiance is clean and service fast. Overall decent meal but limited portions and don't get the pasta sampler...it's really small and not really worth it...you go in thinking enough to feed a football team and get a portion the size of a kids meal at McDonalds.

I've eaten here a few times. It's consistently good. Never busy when I was there. Last night I had a quick meal and it was great. The marinara sauce is delicious. But here the real reason for the review. I got a family portion of Chicken Alfredo to go for the family and spilled some of it in the seat of my car (my fault). The owner or manager, not sure, didn't ask, came out and totally cleaned up the mess repackaged the food. How awesome. Food is great and the service was excellent. Will definitely be making this a routine dining option.

The food is outrageously good with giant portions. Went for the lunch special and was not disappointed.

Best pizza I have ever had. Amazing service with beautiful music. Would come again for sure.read more

A locally-owned gem with Southern hospitality and delicious Italian food…read more Having been a fan of this restaurant a few years back, I was excited to try it again after recently moving back to the area. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to visit on a Sunday (they're closed!), I finally made it on a Tuesday evening. I was promptly greeted and seated by the friendly host right as they opened at 5 p.m. Our waitress was welcoming and took our appetizer order right after our drinks. We were debating between the mozzarella sticks and calamari, and she recommended the trio, which included both, plus fried zucchini - a great suggestion! Soon after our appetizer arrived, the owner and chef came to our table to introduce himself and check on our food. It was a nice, personal touch that you don't see very often. While the service was a little on the slower side, it was clear that the small but mighty staff was attentive and making their rounds to all the tables. For our main course, we ordered the chicken parmesan, which was a generous portion, easily shareable for two, and came with a side salad. It was yummy. This restaurant has a certain charm with its combination of Southern hospitality and Italian cuisine. I would recommend it based on my experience. They also have some weekly specials (unsure for how long) : -Wednesday Family Night: Large 3-topping pizza for $11.99 -Thursday Date Night: The $5 corkage fee for BYOB is waived, and they offer a "share a bowl" upgrade for $5.99 (usually $9.99), which gives you two servings of protein instead of one. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I'm happy to recommend.

Really cute vibe…read more The chicken and dumplings were creative and tasty. The steak was mediocre. The bolognese was just okay. Their fish dishes are always excellent when they can keep them in stock! However, the service is terrible. We had a party of 6 and went on a Saturday for dinner. Oddly enough the restaurant was not that busy. They were out of half the menu before 6:00 pm. When we ordered, it took a while for food to come out. When we finally received our check, our waiter Mason did not inform us 20% gratuity was included (which is fine because we were a party of 6 and I understand the Coast does not have the best clientele) BUT one of us paid cash and he tried to pocket a 40% tip and would not bring change back. When we asked for change back, he went behind the bar to take the loot out of his pocket, calculate change that was owed, and then brought it back. Also, there's WAY too many scented burning candles for a restaurant.

We appreciated her. The ambiance was very relaxing and the place has a great vibe. I would definitely come back to eat.
