You'll find everything from classic New York style slices to Sicilian, white pizzas, veggie options, meat loaded pizzas, fresh mozzarella and tomato combinations, specialty slices and some really creative options you don't see at every pizza shop. Everything always looks incredibly fresh too. And honestly, pizza is only part of the reason we love this place. Their lunch specials are one of the best values we've found locally. For $13.95, there is a rotating selection Monday through Friday with sandwiches, subs, wraps, salads and full pasta dishes. We recently tried the La Rustica sandwich with chicken cutlet, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, pesto and vodka sauce on homemade focaccia. The sandwich was HUGE, packed with ingredients and came with a generous portion of fresh cut fries. We also tried the Shrimp & Crab Fra Diavolo, and this is where the value really surprised us. It was an entire plate of penne in a spicy marinara with jumbo shrimp and real lump crabmeat. They absolutely did not skimp on the seafood either. Getting a fresh seafood pasta dish like that as part of a $13.95 lunch special is pretty incredible. Beyond the specials, they have a huge menu with Italian dishes, pasta, subs, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and plenty of other options. Even something like their bruschetta is loaded with fresh tomatoes, big pieces of fresh mozzarella, herbs and olive oil. There really is something here for almost everyone. Another thing that keeps us coming back is how fresh everything tastes. The ingredients actually stand out instead of everything tasting like generic pizza shop food. Their breads are especially good, the portions are generous and the food consistently comes out looking just as good as it tastes. The service has also always been wonderful with us. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, and because we come in fairly often, it has become one of those places where you genuinely feel happy walking through the door. The inside has a casual Italian pizzeria feel but is much nicer and more inviting than your typical grab and go pizza shop. There's plenty of seating, the colorful interior gives it personality, and you can sit down and have an actual meal just as easily as you can stop in for a quick slice. If you haven't been here in a while, especially if you're judging it based on older reviews, I really think Margherita's deserves another visit. Our experiences have been consistently great, and there's a reason we keep coming back. Great food, huge variety, generous portions, friendly service and some seriously good pizza.

I do not mind lighter breading, but without flavor it just fell flat. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and did not grab a photo, and those were the biggest disappointment. They tasted old, and both the breading and the cheese had this crumbly texture that just was not right. Service also was not the strongest. We asked a few basic questions and did not really get clear answers, and overall it just felt they didn't care. Maybe this was just an off night because of the event, but based on this visit, I am not sure we would rush back.

And boy, was it meaty, filling, and flavorful! The sauce had the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The pizza arrived promptly, hot and ready to be devoured. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere with soft Italian music playing in the background and well-lit surroundings.
