We popped in during their soft opening, when it was just the owner and his wife in the restaurant. They did not have the whole menu available yet, but the eggplant parm pizza we got was truly delightful. We cant wait to go back. There is no dine in option available. The Italian Cold Cut was really lacking, way too much bread, half of it didn't have capocollo, it was boiled ham, a couple thin slices of genoa and provolone, only a slice of capocollo on one half. Nope. The arancini didn't have much taste in the filling or rice other than salt and it tasted like fryer oil. The marinara just tasted like a bay leaf.

The Maryland crab soup had very sparse crab, and what was there were super fine shreds with no noticeable lump meat at all. It was also extremely thick, almost more like a sauce than soup, and very pepper heavy. The chicken cheesesteak was honestly the best thing we ordered. It had good flavor and no real complaints there. The fries that came with it and with the tenders were another story. They tasted like they had been sitting for a while and were just warm at best. The chicken tenders were juicy, which I will definitely give them credit for, but they had very little seasoning and almost no breading. I do not mind lighter breading, but without flavor it just fell flat. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and did not grab a photo, and those were the biggest disappointment. They tasted old, and both the breading and the cheese had this crumbly texture that just was not right. Service also was not the strongest. We asked a few basic questions and did not really get clear answers, and overall it just felt they didn't care. Maybe this was just an off night because of the event, but based on this visit, I am not sure we would rush back.

So between the two of us we ordered the special each, which comes with a big slice, fries and a drink (bottled or fountain). That came out to $20 and change, which wasn't too bad. I didn't even know it came with fries until it was served to us. The staff was quick and polite. They did get everything moving and handed out to everyone quickly. Although the pizza wasn't amazing but it was not bad. I had the vegetable slice, it had a lot in it, just not very flavorful, but it was still good. The only real negative was the walls. Which looked like they could use a new paint job. Otherwise it is a nice little restaurant to stop in for a slice and fries.
