The owner here is truly a stand‑up guy. While we were waiting for our table, we watched him be incredibly kind to a patron with Down syndrome--she came out absolutely beaming because he let her make her own espresso. The restaurant was packed. It was a very kind thing to do. That moment alone set the tone for the night. The food was outstanding. Better than we remembered it being. The bread arrived warm, and the oil had garlic in it. I never dunk in garlic oil, but tonight I was dunking everything. The bolognese was the perfect balance of creaminess, meat, and cheese. We also ordered two pizzas, both very enjoyable, and the lasagna was a hit as well. Our server was attentive and quick with requests, and the owner made a point to stop by most tables, which added a personal touch. We will definitely be back. read more

Nothing really ever changes here...I've tried it every few months going back 15+ years. I go in every few months for lunch and a drink because it's very close and convenient...figure I'll give it another chance. I had the "beef ravioli" a few days ago...the "marinara" sauce is sugary Ragu out of a jar at best. Still the same cheap bread that so obviously came frozen and fell off the back of a Sysco truck. Nice enough people I suppose and the service is perfectly adequate...I guess the family that owns it is trying...but I sure wish the food quality was 3x better at Enotria. Hire a far better chef, charge a couple bucks more if you need to, and buy far better quality ingredients. I'm no restaurant owner, but perhaps the solution is to cut the menu size by a 1/3rd and do the remainder far better. I'd be a regular at Enotria 2-3 times a week if it were actually high-end, fresh, quality Italian. There are carry out places in the area that have significantly better food than Enotria (Italian Sensation being a long time example). Vito's in Cockeysville is 3x better every single time. Drive to Reisterstown and Kecco's is excellent (a bit far away, admittedly). Liberatore's in Bel Air, while not close to as good as Vito's...is certainly better than Enotria and has picked it up during 2025 with a new chef. Enotria is in a tie for dead last Italian food in its area with Basta Pasta in Fallston...that would be the other slop Italian place in the area. I'd gladly pay more for a lunch or a dinner at Enotria if it were much higher caliber Italian food...and I suspect a lot of others would too. Enotria as it stands is completely cliche, marginal, "least common denominator" Italian food at most. Just because you play the same Dean Martin songs on repeat and yell "Bella Bella" to every woman that walks through the front door doesn't mean the food is any good. read more

Always start off with their bread and olive oil mixture, it is so good!! For entrees, I normally order gnocchi with vodka sauce. Big fan of places that serve the gnocchi directly in the dish it was baked in. The gnocchi is always cooked perfectly but the vodka sauce doesn't have much flavor as other vodka sauces I've tried, but it's still enjoyable. The rest of my family normally gets the chicken parm. The chicken parm portion is huge- we always have leftovers. Their salad portions are big too, we've gotten the caesar salad before and it was big enough to share among a few of us. While visiting my family a few days ago, we had the pleasure of going out to eat at this wonderful Italian restaurant. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. Everything was wonderful. I especially liked that it wasn't too loud inside. We were able to converse easily with each other. I'd like to add we were delighted by the service too. Our waiter was Dylan. Sadly, this spot has become very average with food despite the rather decent service and spacious seating. The restaurant is huge, can accommodate several types of dining needs. Over the years the restaurant has really evolved with entertainment on occasion and constant renovation upgrades. The food on the other hand seems to have digressed with flavor. Today's dish of Chicken Marsala was just meeeh and the pizza was floppy despite the brick oven. Cream of crab is spackle like it's so thick. Bread and oil are the worse with bread being on the stale side. Overall, not great which is disappointing because the venue is very nice. read more

I've been interested in trying this place for a while. Stopped on a Saturday night and had dinner at the bar. The good: chicken Marsala was excellent and the wine was as well. The bartenders were friendly and "well intentioned". The bad/annoying: one bartender was clearly friends with another couple at the bar. Had to ask for a menu while chatting... Poured my wine and then held it for a good 3 minutes while she talked non stop with the couple. I would come back. But the one bartender needs some training.... read more

I decided to order to go from this place while I was in the area... I went with the fettuccine Alfredo when I read it was homemade and added shrimp. I picked up my order and it was $26. Okay..... When I opened the bag I saw two bread rolls along with the watery fettuccine with 5 grilled shrimp on top. They did not provide any utensils or napkins... You would think they would include utensils and at least 8 grilled shrimp for the price. When I got home I tasted the pasta and there was literally nothing. No flavor or taste. This restaurant is always busy and that's a good sign. Front house staff was friendly and professional. Although the restaurant was busy we only had to wait for approx. 5 mins before a table was cleared for us. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. Atmosphere was nice, the interior lights were set to a soft hue so the menu is still easily readable. Not too noisy, diners can easily interact with one another. Restaurant interior and exterior was very clean. If you drive an SUV or van, just FYI, the parking spots are tight. We were lucky enough to find an end spot which allowed us to hug the curb to create more space from the vehicle next to us. I ordered the Stuffed Pork Cutlet which sounded very promising. The brandy wine sauce was slightly bland for my liking, needed a touch more seasoning, but the flavor was good. Unfortunately my pork was so dry that it became inedible. My waiter returned the dish and did not charge us for it. With a score of 23 out of 25 stars I give this restaurant an A- rating. Everyone is beyond friendly and helpful! This place is so convenient and we've found some great items on the menu. Pizza is great, pasta is great! Beware. Enotria masquerades as a good .. even mid-upscale area establishment... but don't be duped as we were. Smoke and mirrors. On walking in, the restaurant atmosphere seems ok...with a pleasant bar area and decent, relaxing lighting, upbeat staff. We were seated at a booth in a vacuous area that felt more like an upscale sub shop than a real dining room. The cloth napkin was appreciated. As far as the food goes, be aware ...the menu is deceptive and the food is sub-par. Bread and "dipping oil " strangeness in a plastic cup- , but we were starving and ate it anyway . Cream of crab soup- nasty, brown sludge cream of salt and old bay in half-filled cafeteria cup. Food described on the menu as being sautéed with "olive oil" is actually drenched in vegetable oil. "Wild-caught salmon" is in fact, farm -raised Atlantic garbage. How do we know? We asked. We were 3/4 of the way through a VERY disappointing meal when we decided that for health reasons we would ask about the food. 10 minutes later, our server informed us our dishes did not include olive oil as stated, but vegetable oil and the salmon was farmed fish. The deception was disturbing not only due to the affront itself, but also between the bread "dipping oil" and our very over-salted, cold, gummy, oil-drenched pasta and vegetables, we had probably consumed about a half a cup of vegetable oil. (We're older and trying to not die of heart disease.) Serving putrid antibiotic-laiden farmed salmon as wild-caught is just plain despicable. I'm sure these aren't the only menu items that are bait-and-switch. If this is the standard establishment practice with these menu items, it is likely the same with others, and considering the number of bad reviews piling up to support this... well... you do the math. Our experience: Low grade inferior ingredients coupled with nefarious practices intended to dupe us into paying MORE for literal garbage. We were sorry for having even eaten any of the food, and even sorrier for having to pay for it. Such BS. This is not the only restaurant engaged in what seems like literal food fraud and it should be illegal. There's many more...but this is the only restaurant in Forest Hill and they just keep getting away with it. Can't believe people even "dine" here with the verifiable bad reviews, supporting photos, and an owner that has no problem defending the horror coming out of his kitchen. If you go here looking for a memorable evening... you're going to get it. You have been warned. read more

For entrees we got the capellini adriatica. Very good as well. For dessert we got the tiramisu with a cappuccino & espresso to end the night. Stopped in on Wednesday for a pizza and a beer lunch. Meat lovers pizza was loaded with meat toppings, but the crust suffered. It was soft and gooey working towards the center of the plate. Lovely building with plenty of parking with some HC spaces near the entrance. Service was good, but we had to ask for sprinkle cheese and hot pepper flakes. I honestly believe this is one of the better restaurants in harford county. I am a regular returning customer. Their pizzas and pastas are quite delicious. Their service is good especially for how busy they get on Fridays and Saturdays. It love the warm cozy atmosphere. They are a bit on the pricier side is the only downfall. My daughter has been wanting to come here for some time now. We honestly were going to be going to another restaurant and found out it was closed. I really wanted pizza so we decided to stop in. Nick was our server was awesome. He was friendly and attentive. The service was probably the best part of the experience. We ordered pizza (margharita), Caesar salad and fries. Super basic meal. The pizza was average. I would say about a low 3. The sauce was very watery and it needed a pinch of salt . A sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese made it better. The Caesar salad was ok. This evening was a anniversary event. There were 9 of us. Let's start by being greeted and seated within 5 minutes. That's where the good of the evening ended. I won't go into every dish but will elaborate on mine. I picked the shrimp fra Diablo$20. The shrimp was over done not rubber but it was very chewy. The amount of pasta and overdone shrimp made the meal not worth the price. Plus I love spicy foods like Thai or Mexican but this was way to spicy hot for the dish. The seafood marinara at the Double T diner puts this dish way back in quality. We ordered either water or tea to drink. Only one glass was filled without asking .We even had to wave the waitress down for water in our glasses . See the attached photo of the dirt and dust above our table. My wife and I traveled from middle river to this restaurant looking for a good meal. My wife had a personal pizza which she really enjoyed with a side of meatballs, also very good. I ventured into ordering the stuffed veal cutlets, prob not the best choice. They are wrapped with prosciutto and cheese but whatever the outside crust was, it was not very appealing. The tastes were not complimented by anything they all seemed to blend. I would prob not order that again. Ordered my mother's birthday dinner from there for carryout. It was a no brainer as it if Mom's favorite restaurant. All the food we ordered was delicious. The crab appetizer (I cannot remember the name); shrimp caprese; salmon Florentine and more - all were tasty. No complaints here. Another one bites the dust. A restaurant that started out being one of our favorite places to go to a place we'll never go again. Waiting for a table for 2 only watch them seat a table for 4 ahead of us when they very clearly arrived and signed on after us then we were seated in the noisy/crowded bar where the server was assigned too many tables so it took over 10 minutes to even order a drink. There are too many great Italian restaurants options to be treated unfairly. Learn from my experience go somewhere else! read more
