Had a very unpleasant experience with this repair shop. The argument began after the phone was repaired. I requested about accepting the Yelp voucher. The vendor said no I will not accept the Yelp voucher. It is only limited for unlocking the phone and is not applicable for repairs. I reviewed the terms and conditions of the voucher and called him back. The terms and conditions of voucher do not mention that. When I suggested thats fine I will leave a disappointing review due to this behavior. The manager got annoyed and threatened to destroy the phone. I had to promptly visit the shop and handle the situation in person. Due to conflict, I recorded the in person conversation. The manager once again accepted that he will destroy the phone if he wants and I cannot do anything about it. read more

I went to this store an hour before they closed with a broken screen and LCD and they finished within a half an hour. Not only were they super fast but the people were amazing and very helpful. This guy is a liar. His ad says something and he charged my old father in law and wife a different price. When I found out, I showed him his active ad on Craigslist. He has the audacity to say that there was a typo in that ad but he won't honor the price because we "agreed" to the higher price. Today I brought my phone to be repaired for a minor fix. The owner of Flash2Unlock told me it would take approximately 15 mins for the repair. I've waited patiently for the owner to repair my phone. I've waited for 1 hour and still not completed.The owner told me he told me the technician had the proper equipment and no my phone is a useless brick now. Thanks to Flash2unlock. I'm sorry to say that this is the worst store in Fremont,CA to go for repairs. They obviously know nothing of repairing phones. I don't usually write Yelp reviews...actually I don't think I've ever written one, good, bad or indifferent. But, I think this experience deserves to be shared. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on from Craigslist back in November 2015. I know full well the risk involved with CL purchases so I asked the seller to meet me at my carrier to verify that the IMEI was clean and that I wouldn't have any issues. They checked and said it was good so I paid the guy and was on my way. Now, flash forward 4 months. The other day I woke up and I couldn't make/receive calls over the the mobile network or using wi-fi calling. Contacted my carrier and they were dumbfounded. More accurately, they were just dumb. After a bit of troubleshooting on my own, I discovered that my IMEI had been blocked by my carrier because the seller fraudulently reported it as lost/stolen to get out of paying for it (blacklisted). I was now the proud owner of a pretty $500 paperweight! To my knowledge, once your device was blacklisted that was it, there was no coming back from that. But, I decided to do some Googling on the subject anyway. To my surprise, I found that there is now software which can rectify the issue. Some of the companies wanted you to ship your device to them for the repair, and some just seemed kinda sketchy. A Craigslist search pulled up Flash 2 Unlock and I gave them a call. I told Wade my issue and without hesitation he said he could fix it. So, even though I live in Discovery Bay and it was about a hour and a half drive during rush hour I decided to go. I arrived less than an hour before closing and Wade assured me that would be sufficient for the repair. However, due to some rooting/customizations I had done to the phone it made his job more work than it should've been. But, he assured me he'd get it done and he stayed open past his closing time to do just that. We sat there and discussed everything from politics to the Warriors while he worked on my phone and when all was said and done, my phone was up and running again. And, he didn't charge me anything extra even though it required extra work. This guy is now officially my Phone Whisperer, lol! Super cool dude, very intelligent and superb customer service!
