Reminds me of underground Euro-tech dance clubs. A great spot for lovers of electronic music and dancing. Kind of dirty and crowded, but that's half the fun. I really used to love coming here on kids night with my nephews I dont have children . But it was unfortunate they adopted the Chuck E Cheese policy no kid no entrance. Now they have so many birthday parties going on at once it's a wonder the fire marshal hasn't shut it down that many people in such a small venue is a fire hazard. On Friday they had 3 private birthday parties along with regular kids who just want to dance. So many kids running around and bumping into you then there's all the screaming and yelling. Someone's child kicked my mother behind herknee and she almost fell. My mother and I have agreed we won't be going back. read more

I really enjoyed my first visit to this place! The sound system is INSANE!!! If you love loud thumping music that vibrates through every inch of your body...making it almost impossible to stand still..this is the place for you! This place truly reminds me of the kinds of clubs I frequented in Germany...lots of loud electronic dance music...and none of the typical pretentiousness you'll find in other downtown lounges and bars. I loved that everyone was dressed in whatever attire they wished...jeans, chucks, t-shirts, full drag, costumes...whatever. Everyone seemed to do their own thing without a single person bothering or pestering them...and I love that!! I also love that it's nearly pitch dark majority of the time that you're in there, with the exception of a cool light show throughout the night...on top of the lit-up dance floor tiles. The bar was priced reasonably and as with many other places in Dallas, there were jugs full of water for you to serve yourself. There's plenty of seating all around the huge dance floor and you should definitely come here expecting to sweat!:) My only complaints include the following: *The size of the ladies bathroom-the last ladies stall is SO tiny that I couldn't even hover over the toilet seat comfortably and the toilet itself was installed semi-sideways. I really think it would be awesome if this bathroom was expanded or changed. *The music itself was good, but I would've loved to hear more of the current pop and other-genre songs being mixed into house versions of the music..which would truly mirror the kinds of sounds you can expect in a good house club in New York or Miami...most of what I hear here was instrumental, pure bass...if that's you're thing, you'll be very happy here. Also, one note on the cover: CASH ONLY. If you come on a night where there is a featured DJ (which you can check on facebook or online), expect to pay $20. The ladies room was my least favorite part of this bar, but everything else overshadows the crooked, cramped stalls. I was completely hesitant about coming here because I don't particularly care for this sort of music. I danced my tail off until close, so I stand corrected! Okay I have many reasons why last night was my first and my last time coming here. First off, I bought my ticket for the show I was attending for 20 bucks online. A friend was considering on going but she saw they had changed it from All Ages to 21 and up on TicketMaster. My ticket said All Ages and being 20, I was worried but decided to go anyways. The show was suppose to start at 8, and I show up a little later around 8:40 thinking I missed the opening act. The place from what I heard was suppose to be a cool venue with a light up floor. I actually thought I had taken a wrong turn because this place looks so rundown like it was a haunted house that came with $10 Valet parking. But nope, it was the "club" and oddly considering I was late, had a big line outside. I thought maybe I got the time wrong and was actually early. But no, I wasnt. The doors did not open until 9:30, and by then most of the people who had been waiting since 8 were pissed. And then comes the best part. There was a MINOR FEE OF $10 for everyone who was under 21, when us "minors" were all between 18-21. Okay I figured no big deal. But inside it looked like the Interskate in denton, all old and the light up floor was this tiny strip of green tiles. I actually felt like I was back in high school going to a school dance with the disco ball and the people sitting on the bleachers on both sides. Maybe I had stepped into a bad version of Grease, I seriously wished I would have smoked before coming in because it looked so lame. So again came the waiting. There was some DJ up there for 2 hours who did a great job turning everybody up. But really, why did they need to put him out when we were all just waiting for the show to start? After him, the opening act came on, some rapper I have never heard about rapping about hitting his girlfriend and whatnot. and then another hour went by. Finally almost at midnight, the DJ I came for came on and by then everyone was tired from dancing and throughout his show people left. It was sad because so many people came to see him but because of how long it took to get in and all the waiting, it made sense. I even felt like leaving once 2am came, though he ended his set just when I was about to leave. I just hope he goes to a different venue next time, otherwise I dont think Im going to see him again in that same shitty club. This club's reviews made me think it was this great place and I had high hopes for it, but I've never been more disappointed and annoyed than last night. I wouldnt had made a Yelp account if I didnt feel that someone had to review how crappy it is to see shows here. If you want to see a show, make sure its at Trees, The Prophet Bar, or Southside. Theres a lot of good places to see a show in Dallas. Just avoid here at all costs. read more

DIVE fo sho! HOUSE music? YES PLEASE! I love getting my groove on at this place. I feel like I'm back in San Francisco dancing the night away in some dark, underground warehouse. Huge dance floor with a nice light show. Love that this place is off the beaten path.. And because of it, you don't get your typical "Dallas" crowd. Straight low key. Lots of table seating. Big out door smoking area. And plenty of friendly bar tenders. Was just there for the Subset show and it was amazing! I'll obviously be back to do some work on that dance floor! read more

In the middle of no where, surrounded by sketchiness, is an oasis known as the It'll Do club. We wandered here on a late Saturday night - very excited to see the latest creation from the owner of Barcadia and the Beauty Bar (franchise). It was pure fun - just really a mix of all types (with the largest majority probably hipster), packed in, dancing their brains out to a really fun DJ - nothing like I've really heard - seemingly mixing their own beats in what seemed to intertwine generations of sounds - from doo-whop to techno. The layout is fairly simple - huge dance floor to the left and small bar area to the right. The finish out is more Barcadia than Beauty Bar - minimalist, but the club generally had such a great energy. Looking forward to coming back! read more

I love this place. LOVE it! I've finally found my place to get my groove on in Dallas. I love the lack of pretentiousness here and the diversity of the crowd. The vibe is a retro, no-nonsense, four-to-the-floor dance house. Unlike several other reviewers, I found the bartenders friendly and reasonably quick given the sizeable crowds this place handles. Spacious dance floor with Q-bert-esque light up dance cubes in the center is super fun. The resident DJ is awesome and they bring in some killer talent. Oh my heavens, my friends and I spontaneously ended up here last weekend. SO much fun! It's in the Deep Ellum ish part of Dallas so theirs going to be some weirdos out but who's not weird these days. It wasn't too crowded that you couldn't move but still enough people to party with. It was fairly quick to get a drink at the bar and the service was great. The walls are lined with cushion seating so you have a place to rest or sit your stuff but we never sat down, the music was too good! It sounds stupid but the light up floor was actually a ton of fun to dance on. I can't believe I've been in Dallas this long and was just now introduced to this club. I love you it'll do, you're my fav spot to go dancing in Dallas, hands down --- but you have GOT TO DO SOMETHING about the bathroom situation. Three stalls per gender has proven not to cut it at all. I understand plumbing is a bitch to remodel, but damn- there were 21 girls in front of me in line at one point last night, and it was nearly as bad with the guys line. Love you otherwise! This place is awesome. I have absolutely loved every visit. I have been many times and will continue to frequent this place. The sound system is amazing! Cover varies and depends on the DJ. If no big DJ then cover never exceeds $5 but is more for guest DJ's. I have seen very big acts like Kaskade, Disclosure, James Murphy and Boy George spin here. The crowd is great. The secluded spot keeps the typical Dallas douche out of this place. Love the outside patio for when you want a short break from the music. Absolutely love the club...the music...the crowd. How it brings so many of us together. The only complaint that I would have, that is a serious consideration for the club to look into, is the complete insensitivity to my foreign friend who was still attempting to tip the *short hair blonde* bartender, when the bartender RIPPED the check out of my friend's hand, AS she was writing down the tip. We would have been MORE than happy to show my foreign friend the proper way of tipping if it wasn't for the fact she wasn't even given the opportunity to do so. I suggest you create a more welcoming environment when it comes to those who serve your drinks, as it is a huge contribution to the energy, word of mouth & appreciation that goes into the club. I had to sit in the bathroom stall, calming the nerves and tears of my friend, because the bartender was completely insensitive to the situation and didn't even give a CHANCE to change the approach. Working in this industry, I could never imagine treating a foreign customer like this. It's rude, grotesque, and full of unnecessary projections, that could have been avoided if the bartender comprehended the MANY WAYS in which tips are served in different countries and how to properly ask for a tip, without being rude or completely unaware of her insensitive behavior. Trust me, it goes both ways. Again, love the music, the crowd and the vibe. Just not the bartender who thought it was okay to bully foregin customers into giving her a tip without providing the proper chance to do so AFTER she already complained. This place was definitely not what I expected. The reviews seemed to be really good, but we found the place to be very different. We arrived 11:00 PM and there were very few people and after about 45 minutes we were ready to go. Not many people were into it, and the vibe was very confusing. Definitely didn't feel like people were there to have a good time. Low lighting, kinda sketch. Smelled like a tattoo parlor. The music was really basic EDM. However, if you love a place that vibrates everywhere, maybe this is a place for you. I would not recommend this club if you're looking for a good club to dance and have a good time.
