No. It has left its longtime beloved, teeny-tiny, cramped and confined space and moved to the former Ernie's Bar on Wall Street near Stoner Ave. Yup. Stoner. That old, EDM dance club now gone, having too, recently closed its doors, but theirs, sadly, for good. So, Fatty's is now where the old Ernie's Bar once was, and is now parking lot mates with Strange Brew, another fantastic tavern. This could truly be a match, as you could park in one place and very easily go to both. And there will be some nights, that I might just do this as I'm quite fond of both. Both venues are live music friendly and it appears that Fatty Arbuckles is really utilizing their new space, inside and out. And why shouldn't they? After being cooped up for so long. The night of my visitation, bands were set up outside. There was a small horse trailer out there selling booze too. So absolutely right on! Giddy up! They also had an amazing server going inside and out all night long. I repositioned a few times without notification and she found me every single time to check on me. Love her! Shreveport homeboy Dylan LeBlanc will be hitting this place soon for a gig before heading to the Continental Club in Houston, and Chickie Wah Wah's in New Orleans. Then, it's off to Denmark for ol' Dylan. I've always dug the namesake of this bar. Tragic, embattled silent film actor and comedian. And equally as tragic, I heard once, that Chris Farley was going to play him in a film. I would've loved to have seen that. But at least we have this bar in a new part of town. And not far from another re-launch as well. Also a live music venue. Bayou Thunder Saloon is now Straight Jackets. So, in close proximity, you now have a triad of clubs: Fatty Arbuckles, Strange Brew, and Straight Jackets. This is going to be rad. The rad triad off Stoner and Wall Street. Wow.

It isn't ever too smoky, probably due to the large size of the bar. My absolute favorite part? By far the food! As soon as I get in the door I gotta order a Philly Cheese Steak and onion rings.
