When I asked about their gluten-free precautions, our server reassured me that the chefs take it very seriously and are very careful when preparing gluten-free meals. We ordered the shrimp ceviche and seared ahi tuna for appetizers, and both were delicious! For our meals, I had Doc's paella, my daughter had the mahi-mahi with jasmine rice and vegetables, my son had the panko shrimp with fries, and my husband had the macadamia nut-crusted grouper with vegetables and rice. Everything came out fairly quickly and tasted good. Everyone in our party liked their food except my daughter she said her fish had zero seasoning or flavor, the service was great, and I really appreciated the care they took with gluten-free precautions.

The quintessential beachy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating! Big outdoor bar was perfect for us to belly up to while we waited for our table to be ready! Bartenders and servers were very friendly and present during our stay! All I heard throughout the afternoon was how much I needed to try the Yucatan Shrimp...and it did NOT disappoint! Garlicy, buttery, and perfect spice to these peel and eat Shrimp! The baguette is the perfect pairing! I also had the Grouper Tacos, which were perfectly cooked and had a yummy chimmichurri sauce on top! I appreciated that they came with fries as well, since two tacos wouldn't have been enough! If I had one critique, it was that the Mai Tai was far from a traditional Mai Tai...too fruity without enough Rum. I'd skip it if you are a fan of a strong Mai Tai!

Wow. I expected more from a place rated 4 stars. To be…read morespecific we went to the beach bar because the restaurant wasn't open yet. The very first issue was parking. Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.

My vegan friend recommended Good Intentions, and I haven't had a nice vegan dinner in a while, so I decided to come see what this place was all about, in honor of my beloved Ethos. RIP. We make reservations, show up, park anywhere we can find in this wild, wild West portion of town, and start browsing the menu. It sounds absolutely delicious. We started off with the Southern Sriracha Crab Cakes (Hearts of palm and jackfruit crab cakes, sriracha pimento, Thai chili glaze, seitan bacon crumbles, pickled fresno, scallion, sesame). These were great. Very crispy, the inside was the spitting image of crab cake filler, and there was just enough Old Bay to really sell it. Spicy sauces and other elements made this quite the lovely little app. We also had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Dan Dan tahini, toasted cashews, pickled fresnos, scallion). Wow, this was good. Tahini was a great choice, the sprouts were crispy crispy, and the cashews added a wonderful little crunch. My main was the Kimchi Fried Rice (Crispy fried jasmine rice, scrambled JustEgg, kimchi, sweet soy reduction, fried crab balls, kewpie aioli, scallion, sesame seeds). Better than some of the non-vegan fried rices I've had in my life! Great rice with some nice crisp, flavorful but not too funky kimchi, a nice soy sauce, and a nice aioli to sauce things up a bit. I also got to try a bucatini bolognese of some sort that I can't find on the menu anymore. Maybe it was a special. But it was good. Really deceivingly real meat crumbles, a lovely sauce, and bucatini is one of my favorite noodles. Big fan. Overall, this was not a good vegan meal. It was a good meal. I love places like this. I think that more people need exposure to places like this. I'll be back.

Very friendly guy who made excellent recommendations based on flavor and taste. The food was great. Not "great for being vegan," but just great. I was very pleased with the high quality dishes here. Cons: No cons at all. Tips: The whole menu was delicious, but I want to tell you to save room for dessert. That was an excellent cheesecake.

Gave us a quick background information about the place and how the menu worked with great enthusiasm. He was prompt and very attentive to our needs. I ended up getting a cortado with steamed whole milk. The coffee was brewed well. It wasn't overly bitter and had a good full bodied flavor. For the breakfast entree I end up getting a the E.A.L classic which was hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, kielbasa, caramelized onions, and a house-made hot sauce (kinda looked like pesto). The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. It was very fluffy and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. It paired extremely well with the house made hot sauce. The hashbrowns were also cooked well. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The kielbasa was great on its own by topped with the caramelized onions it elevated the experience. Per the server's suggestion we also ordered the sourdough with their seasonal jam, being blueberry jam during this occasion. The jam was more like compote so it had chunks of the berry. It wasn't overly sweet and paired wonderfully with the crispy sourdough bread. Additionally, I shared with my friend the Toasted Coconut and Blueberry Pancake. That was simply a delight. The pancake was prepared like a Japanese style fluffy pancake. It was nice and fluffy with a perfect amount of sweetness to each and every airy bite. It was also topped with shaved toasted coconut flakes, blueberry and lemon jam, buttercream, some maple syrup, fresh mint, and sour pineapple which honestly brought everything together. The sweet and sour play of the toppings and the pancake was a fun experience, neither overpowering the other. Even though I had finished the E.A.L Classic I couldn't help finishing every bite of the pancake. "High-end quality wholesome food that feeds the soul" is the best way I'd describe this place.

I'm one of those people that finds something I love and sticks with it so I always order the E.A.L. breakfast, but with the changing seasonal menu there's always options that sound interesting and delicious! I enjoy reading my options each visit and one day I do plan on trying something new, haha. The chef has come out each time to personally check in on the meal. One time he brought me extra kielbasa because he felt he cooked mine a touch too long (it was perfect, but no one turns down extra kielbasa!! Haha). Truly - incredible food surpassed only by the customer service!
