Very nice bar and dining area. The bartender was very friendly and proficient. The food menu had a wide variety to choose from, and it was reasonably priced. We already had lunch, but I've heard great reviews about the food. However, It was happy hour - a Miller Lite draft and two Alyssian Space Dusts were over $18. That's pricey. read more

This is the 2nd time our large party has eaten here while in vacation. We came here for our family Father's day dinner. We had a party of 14. When we arrived there was another large party and a few people at the bar...and only 1 bartender/server working. She apologized in advance and said ahe would do her best. We accepted and continued to look over the menu. We all ordered our drinks right away. Their soda fountain was out so no soda options were available. All those that ordered a draft beer or mixed drink enjoyed them. I ordered the bangers and mash, which were way better than expected. The sausage was perfect. You could tell the potatoes were real and made in house. There was a delicious gravy on the potatoes that was so good. My husband ordered the fish and chips and were a nice size and fried perfectly. I was able to try my sister's Sheppard's pie. And loved it as well. It did take a bit if time to get our food but it was expected before we ordered. I would recommend it to anyone in the Indian Shores area. I forgot to take pictures of the food sorry! read more

This place was a big disappointment! I read the reviews and was looking forward to a new place. My husband got the steak and cheese sandwich. It was basically beer cheese and bread. Where's the BEEF! Terrible really. I got the garlic parmesan wings. Absolutely no flavor. The blue cheese was warm and runny! Sorry have to say the absolute worst I think I've ever had. I have two stars because the music was GREAT! And service was good! Other than that no reason to come back. Sorry I'm giving this place a big thumbs down . read more

I came here while visiting Florida. I had the smoked fish dip and pretzel bites. Both were great! I also saw a lot of people ordering the corned beef and it looked and smelled good. My drink was made well and I got it very quick. All the staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was clean. read more

Ordered a lunch for pickup & Nicole was super pleasant on the phone taking our order. We were taking a moving break & the order was ready within 15 min! It was super convenient as we moved in just a few minutes away. Packaged great, priced well & food was delicious! Recommend the burger with fries & the Florida salad. read more

Specifically picked this place because they said they served food late. Got there at 11 and the waitress came over with an attitude then said "oh yeh the oven i mean fryer ugh.... they're just having an issue so no food......Ok... how about drinks ? yeh they can get you half what you asked for. I have a feeling this place is for locals and they treat you with absolute disgust if you're a new customer. Great business model. Glad I gave my business on new years to such a shit establishment. read more

Tried last night for first time. My party all had fish and chips which everyone liked a lot! The fries were cold and kinda boring but ok. They could use a better quality French fry! I had a Reuben which was delicious! Only real negative was The music was deafeningly loud! You couldn't hear people at your table talking. They had it turned up full blast. The positive reviews that this place gets must come from relatives, close friends or the drunks on the patio with limited vocabulary other than the f-word. We ordered fish and chips...Irish Pub - fish and chips, made sense when we ordered. When the meal arrived I was taken back by the small size of the filets. Then we began to eat only to discover that the advertised beer batter was in abundance, but the fish was mostly missing. We ordered a flat bread for the kids... two squares approximately 4" x 4" each for $14. This place is not really a restaurant, more like a local watering hole for the regulars... who don't eat just drink. This was a complete disaster. We went home and fixed the kids some dinner as the two squares were not enough. Never again... read more

My friends and I were visiting town and stopped into this place to have dinner and a drink. We sat down and were not greeted even though the two bartenders made eye contact with our group. After about 8 minutes I walked up to the bar and ask if they had any servers for the tables and they said no it was just the bartenders and they'd come over. It took over 10 minutes to get our drinks (it was not very busy) and the waitress said she'd be right back to take our order after she dropped off our drinks. Another 8-10 mins pass and we had to approach the bar to ask her to come over to finally take our orders. The food was fairly decent, but there were 2 of us where our food didn't come out until nearly the rest of the party was finished eating. We finally got our checks but it took a few tries before they were all correct. As there was extra food on peoples bills. Although I am a visitor to the town, I do frequent the area often, I am not impressed with this service and hope no one else has had anything similar happen to them. read more

We were visiting from out of town and wanted food pretty late. We found this gem and the bartender was great. Even though they did not have all items of the late night menu we were still able to dine in. The bar was pretty busy even at 2am but it was great. They had great music playing and we were given great suggestions of what to do while in town. read more

Mickey Quinn's is a great neighborhood bar. Food and service are good, prices reasonable. Lots of TVs for watching sports, trivia on Mondays, and live acoustic music several days a week in the nook area, but since seating is very limited, would suggest having bands in the larger room with more seating, perhaps on weekend nights.) read more

Quinn's caters to the younger crowd in the evening but has an array of people from various age groups after work until 9 or 10 and then the crown usually changes but I think that's usually on the weekends. I've been going to Mickey Quinn"s for about 10 years and I have always had great service. The staff is the best, that's probably why I come back. They are friendly, attentive, and often entertaining, If you are one of the regulars they usually know what you like and take great care of you . I'm not a regular but they still give me great service. On our last visit the manager offered a coozie for our beer, he was short one so he wrapped the beer. Now that's service :-) As for food, they a great assortment of items from salad and sandwiches to fish and chips to fajitas. I know this is a simple thing but I love their fries they are always nice and hot and crispy. I've also had their chipolte sandwich and a few of the appetizers and everything has always been good. This is a fun place to go, they have live music some nights and possibly a trivia night but I'm not sure. My one complaint is the smoke. It's very smokey in Quinn's when there a lot of smokers in there. If they did something about the ventilation system I would definite be there more often since the food is good, and the staff is great. read more

Once a great Irish-themed neighborhood pub, the owner of Mickey Quinns seems to have been influenced by less than honest unsuccessful business owners. Mickey Quinns once had the atmosphere of a pub you might find outside of Dublin. Don't get me wrong, Margaret is an excellent chef/owner and Ronin does all he can to make the place seem authentic. If you get there before the drunken fools and silly trivia games, it's not a bad experience. Like too many dive bars, Mickey Quinns has incorporated cheap entertainment and invisible, or non-functional, smoke filters. The lingering odors aren't of food, but of copious cigarette smokers . If dive bars are your thing, make sure to check this place out -- especially after 8:00 pm. That's when those who've been around long enough can recapture the spirit of, 'Inn the Weeds,' the ultra-dive bar that occupied the same building for years. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the Rose and Crown; once the essence of a true Irish pub. Owned by a proud Irish lady, it felt as if I were enjoying a Guinness in a pub on the Emerald Island. Entertainment was provided by a remarkably talented and upbeat Irish trio -- making for a wonderful experience. It was a fantastic example of a true Irish bar. Always packed, it was hard to find a parking space -- even during the middle of the week. It's sad to see such a place like Mickey Quinns lower its standards. Hey, the food is still good and Ronin is a keeper. That alone is worth the extra star. read more

The food is so so. I had a shepherds pie and I was not impressed. It was tasteless. I was told it just come under new ownership so I hope he gets a new cook. I would also recommend he check the age on his taps because my beer tasted funny. read more

The staff was helpful and attentive. We were going for a walk, but I wanted to see the menu, so I popped in to grab one with one of my daughters in the baby carrier. There were 2 performers and a few tables of people and everyone smiled and made comments about her, and I grabbed a menu and left. During the walk, I called to order our food, and the bartender on the phone was very helpful. He happily accommodated getting all of the sauces on the side and even offered some things to be separated that I didn't think about (since I mentioned we would be walking home with the food). When I went back to pick up the food, the place was far busier, almost every seat was taken, and I had switched out kids in the baby carrier. People were just as friendly even though it was noticeably crowded. It had only been 15 minutes, but the food was ready and packed - and boy was it GOOD!! We got the Irish Nachos and Pub Poutine so we could try a few Irish specialties that also had classic elements to them (shepherds pie and beer cheese). The Irish Nachos were absolutely incredible! It is house-made potato chips topped with shepherds pie and beer cheese. Some of the best food we've ever had in Siesta Key and by far the best shepherd's pie I've ever had - and I've been to Ireland. The Pub Poutine was also really tasty! It is house-made French fries topped with corned beef and beer cheese. Again, everything was fresh, made in-house, and a big hit with our whole family! I'm so glad we finally stumbled on this place and can't wait to come back again next year!
