I have been a customer at this Riverside spa for years. I live in Moreno Valley and had been driving to Santa Monica or Beverly Hills so I was do thankful to find this spa close to my home. Berna is amazing, professional and highly skilled esthetician! I have oily skin acne prone skin with breakouts in the spring and summer because of the heat. Berna has worked with my skin, created a skin care maintenance program for me to use at home with monthly micro-microdermabrasion treatments. My skin no longer breaks out but when it does I know exactly what to do at home until I return for my monthly facial. What?! In fairness, let me say I never even made it to the salon. I purchased a special deal through my employee for a few services at a discounted rate. Here's the conversation between me and Rude Receptionist (referred to as RR): Me: "What is the difference between a mini mani and pedi and the spa version? RR: "It's just more detailed." Me: "Um, okay. More detailed in what way?" RR: "The minis take about 30 minutes and the spas take about an hour." Me: "What are they doing differently that takes longer?" RR: "They spend more time on your cuticles and things like that. And because of the products they're using." Me (still not getting the detailed explanation I'm used to): "Oh okay, so it just takes longer?" RR: " Ugh, (yes, she ACTUALLY sighed and was a smart ass!!) of course it takes longer if they're..." At this point I stopped listening since it was taking everything I had to NOT say, "Look, you rude f#%king b!tch, you need to work on your people skills if you're going to work in the customer service industry!" I just finished with, "Um, okay..." to which she simply says "Okay?" and hangs up. Really?!?! No "Thank you for calling," no "Have a nice day," no "Did I answer your question" or "Do you have any other questions?" Thank goodness the deal I got has a money back guarantee. The first time I stepped into this place, I was never greeted or got any smiles from the ladies. They continued talking between themselves another client. I think my mother had let them know we were the 4oclock appt. We sat and waited in anticipation for our massages. We were never offered water or anything while we waited. They were late on top of everything. The smell of the place was delightful so at least it had the feeling of a spa. Room walls are thin so if there are loud people in the waiting room or in their TV room, you can bet you are hearing everything as well. When I got to my massage, the lady was very friendly and we had a great time, and I got a good massage. HOWEVER, I also got a facial wax. I have never EVER broke out so bad as I did getting a wax here, I do not know why this happened. Second time I went in there, same feelings when I walked in. I sat myself down and waited. I said hi to the masseuse I had last time and reminded her of who I was. She THEN had a smile on her face and offered me water. They are nice, but I don't know if it's fake. I just wish they would have told me on the phone I was going to have a male massage therapist. He was really nice & respectful, great qt getting out my knots during the massage. But when you're getting a service that's so personal, I think it's unprofessional for them NOT to tell you the gender of your therapist!! I am giving it a 2 star rating because I liked my facial & the woman who did it was pleasant. However, the customer service here is just not up to par for a spa. I had a difficult time getting an appt. because they rarely answer the phone & it goes to voice mail. When I walked in for my facial, the receptionist was just "OK" and not "spa friendly". I've been to a lot of day spas & usually they offer you a beverage or something. The decor could use some work. I tried making another appt ( bought a package deal) and again, I could not get anyone to answer the phone even though I tried different days. They did respond to email & scheduled me a massage appt. I showed up for the appt, waited over 30 min. outside and then left. They weren't even open!!!! No one returned my call or email to explain or apologize. An "F" in the customer service department. I am getting my money back from the company who sold me this deal & filed a complaint with them about this business. read more

BEST ADVICE: DON'T GO HERE I had an appointment at 3:00pm because of traffic I was 10 minutes late, but instead of greeting me the esthetician glared at me and demanded to know why I was late. She told me that she wouldn't be able to assist me until the following Wednesday, which was unacceptable for me. She also informed me that a paying, regular client would be coming in at 3:30. She didn't consider me a paying customer because I had bought a package through a marketing company. She was extremely rude! no wonder the business is failing! I've been visiting "it's all about you day spa" for about six months now and I just love the service. I get biweekly massages from Jim. I love the environment and the staff. I usually purchase the 4 one hour Swedish massage bundle and it's worth every penny. Most spas sell you a one hour massage but only spend about 45min working on you, we'll not here you get the full one hour if not more. Jim is also a gem he is very professional and good at what he does. I always walk out of there completely relaxed. Jim is so good that sometimes I find myself falling asleep while getting my massage. I visited this spa because a girl from Advantage Marketing approached me in downtown Riverside with a $45 certificate worth up to 3 spa services. The services could either be 30 minute massages or 30 minute spa facials. You can only use one of the services per vist. I went for my first service last week and I chose a massage. The receptionist was not friendly and did not make me feel welcome. I have gone to other spas and as soon as you come in they make you feel welcome because a day spa is suppose to be a pampering experience. This is not the vibe at It's All About You Day Spa. It doesnt feel like its all about you at all. During my wait another lady came out and offered me something to drink because she said the masseusse was running 15 minutes late. She actually asked me if I lived in the area so I could go home and come back. I told her I did not and thats when she offered me some tea. This lady was alot more polite than the receptionist probably because she was older and had a little more customer service skills. The wait ended up being about a half hour. By the time the masseusse came out I was frustrated because the wait had already thrown off my time schedule. The massage itself was good but the overall experience was not. I have two more services I can schedule but I am skeptical about going back. I would not recommend this place to anybody looking for a true day spa experience. read more

Where do I start...WORST spa experience EVER. I'm 53 and I try to treat myself to massages 1-2 times per month. Amazon sent me a special for (3) 50-min massages at a good price so I purchased. I was an ordeal to get a "female" masseuse and waited for over a week for an appointment...I got there on time, and had to wait. Then went in room to get started. The table was an old hard style ?portable I'm sure, there was NO head rest just a pillow and the area of concern was my neck and shoulders. The massage therapist said she had 1-2 yrs education and worked at spa for over 4 years, I need within a few minutes she was not professionally trained and if she had been it was not good training. There was no music, you could hear people talking, TV, footseps the whole time. It was a stressful situation, I many times thought to end the service and just leave, It was AWFUL. They tried to charge me more then the agreed upon rate (i could only use (1) massage at a time) so paid out of pocket for extra time and told the receptionist to keep the voucher I WOULD NOT be back!!!!! I warn anyone who wants a positive experience to stay away from this place. They should have a (-) star for these types of businesses...SHAME on you!!!!! read more

I have been going to "It's All About You" massage for almost a year now and always use Jim as my masseuse. Except for one time when they booked me on the wrong day , they have been very accurate in their scheduling and always send me multiple emails confirming my date and time and reminding me of my appointment. Jim is an absolute delight to work with and he always works on my problem areas for as long as is required to work out the "kinks". He is quite expert at determining what is necessary to relieve pain in my neck, back and sciatic nerves and he always goes over an hour, performing things like reflexology and going over the radial nerves in my arms. The atmosphere is relaxing and such little extra touches as a hot, wet towel at the end of the massage to clean up with are appreciated. I use their four massage for $140.00 special but I know they have others. I would highly recommend this massage studio if you live in the Riverside/Corona/Moreno Valley/Chino -Chino Hills area or nearby. read more

We called to make the appointment no less than 8.. 8 times! With no answer! Finally after calling all day someone picked up. Someone very rude. We asked if they had a certain day available, she said yes, we asked for afternoon, and women to do our massage. Apparently no women work there to give massages!? What!? I've been receiving excellent services from this business for several years, and I love it. I highly recommend it to everyone. It may not be as large as other Spas but I love the coziness, clean, convenient, and very reasonable. I do prefer a female masseuse; however, the gentleman masseuse is excellent and very professional. I believe it's the best place for a facial. I went to this spa about a month ago to use a gift cerificate that I got for christmas.when I called to make a appointment for myself And a friend who also had a certificate the reseptionist was very rude and had no idea about the services on the certificate and she said I couldn't make An appointment for both of us on the same day. when I arrived for my appointment I was never greated or offered anything to drink even though the certificate said it did. the facial was very relaxing though. I just recently tried to book for the second visit but because i had the certificate i had to wait till mid may but if i upgraded to an hour (paid some extra money) they can fit me in tomorrow i don't think I will pay for this place with my own money. if there not going to treat people with gift certificates the same as cash paying customers then why sell them. read more

Wow I cant tell you how disappointed I was with this place!!! First of all this place masquerades as a Day Spa but its really not. Its a one room suite located inside "Brandi and Friends" which is a hair salon. I booked a massage via Groupon and came in for my appointment. There was only 1 man in the whole place! He told me he was the Massage Therapist. I asked where everyone else was but he said it was just him. I expected a female therapist but he claimed there are NONE. I was not comfortable with some STRANGE GUY massaging me all alone in the room so I asked for my money back. Then the real problem began. He said he cannot grant any refunds and I would have to go back to Groupon to get my money. This was a Christmas Present for myself and now all this??? Please DO NOT COME HERE!
