My best friend and I booked a spa day here for her birthday and there are definitely more pros than cons. The service was 10/10. They were very attentive to us from checking in to poolside service. The wait for drinks and food was not long at all either. The food was really good too. I had a great time. I am not sure if I would return only because there is very limited seating in the pool area. The wife and I treat ourselves to a couples massage after the holiday each year. Kelly's Spa at the Mission Inn is such a relaxing place with a very friendly staff. We grabbed a 50 minute couples massage that included chocolates and champagne. We were able to enjoy the spa facilities for as long as we needed after our massage and it was exactly what we needed. My wife took advantage of their nail care offerings while we were there and we ended up staying on property and enjoying their restaurants and bars as well. I definitely recommend booking an early appointment as it starts getting a little cramped up in the lockers the later you go. It's a small spa so it's intimate, but there's also only 3 showers and 2 restrooms in the women's locker room. Their masseuses and staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. My friends and I have been coming to this spa 4-5 times a year for nearly 20 years, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. We have always supported this business and paid premium prices, expecting a professional and relaxing atmosphere. On February 21, 2026, we were celebrating my friend's birthday. I booked a 50-minute facial for $350, expecting a high-end experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the price. Mission Inn Kelly's Spa used to offer complimentary drinks and chocolates, which are no longer provided. The treatment room and spa areas were uncomfortably cold. Staff members were wearing jackets, and clients were asking for blankets. It is very difficult to relax during a service when you are physically cold the entire time. The relaxing lounge chairs have also been replaced with rigid living room sofas. At checkout, we waited patiently for the receptionist to finish her telephone conversation so we could pay. After waiting approximately 12 minutes, we were yelled at for being "too loud." We were speaking at a normal volume when Latoya raised her voice at us because she was on the phone. She stated that she "could not hear the lady giving her credit card numbers." This felt extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Clients should not be reprimanded for speaking in a spa lobby, especially when a staff member is handling a phone call in a shared space. Customer service and basic courtesy should be standard, especially at this price point. The way this situation was handled completely ruined the experience for me and my friends. We will not be returning to Mission Inn Kelly's Spa, and I will not recommend this establishment. read more

I have been going to the Kelly Spa since it first opened. Over time, the prices for treatments have increased, but unfortunately the quality of service has not matched that increase. On top of that, a $40 tip was automatically added to my service, which felt inappropriate given that the experience was fairly mediocre. While the property's Christmas decorations are absolutely beautiful and the spa smells amazing, the 50-minute service I received was simply not worth $240. Many major hotels and day spas now offer significantly more amenities and overall value than Kelly Spa currently provides! Sucks cause it is so beautiful read more

I recieved a gift card for a couples massage here and called ahead to book. Upon arrival we checked in at the front desk and were ushered to the lockers where we changed into our terry cloth robes and slippers . There is a eucalyptus steam room accompanied by rows of soft towels as well as hand towels soaking in a cucumber ice bath. The lockers also feature showers, restrooms and a small area to fix up your hair or makeup. If you've been to Glen Ivy , this locker room is on a significantly smaller scale but is also much nicer ! After changing we went to one of two waiting rooms. Each room features a fire place with seating and you will receive champagne or juice and as well as some nuts , dried fruit and a decadent piece of chocolate. There is also cucumber lemon water on ice. I prefer room one while I wait as it lets in some sunlight. Be sure to come early to your massage to really enjoy all of this unless you plan on hanging out after. Our masseuses came to get us shortly after and took us to our private area . The rooms are amazing - there is a fireplace and full bathroom. The tables are heated. After our massages we were free to use the pool for the day which we took full advantage of. (Be sure to get your pool key at check in by prioviding an ID to hold). Unfortunately the spa was out of service and the pool was ice cold. A repairman came around later and said they just started pumping warm water so we knew the pool would not be usable for the day. There is no music at this pool so we brought a small speaker and kept it very low to be respectful of others. There was a waiter that came around but the pool was busy enough that they needed two to keep up. We ordered cocktails as well as the chips & guac and the shrimp cocktail. Food is just ok and overpriced . We come here for the ambiance - we live ten minutes away but feel like we are on a mini vacation. I only wish we could have used the pool. read more

The spa is pretty although Lacks an indoor hot tub you have to go outside to use the hot tub and or the pool. When I used the shower, there was no hot water. I was freezing in the shower, which shouldn't be in a spa. Also in coming out of the shower, there was no face moisturizer or deodorant, and Kelly is promoting her products so she should've had some moisturizers and things to use for your skin. The facility however, is very clean and they give you wonderful things to munch on and the people inside the spa take care of you and are very attentive. The massage was subpar the masseuse concentrated on my arms and I needed my back done not my arms even when I flipped over she was still concentrating on my arms so I felt the massage was subpar. read more

Upon entering the beautiful Kelly's spa at the Mission Inn, we were warmly welcomed with smiles, checked in and were shown to our lockers by the spa attendant. The women's room included the eucalyptus steam room, showers and the area/amenities to get ready in. My husband and I booked the couples in courtship which included the bath soak (in separate baths), body scrub and 60 minute massage in the private villa with choice of champagne or juice served with chocolates and Chocolate covered strawberries. We arrived early and were able to lounge at the pool and relaxation room. The relaxation room had cucumber water, tea, light snacks. Our champagne/juice with chocolate was waiting for us in the relaxation room with our name on it. We were separated in 2 separate rooms for The bath soak decorated with rose petals, water and snacks near the bath. The bath soak was smoothing on my skin and was then 20 min later to our couples villa where we continued our treatment. We started with the body scrub then the 60 min massage. This is one of the best spas and treatments that we have had and we travel many many places to different spas. The service provided by the staff from start to finish is 5 star treatment. We originally went there for a girls spa day and were hoping to enjoy all the amenities they have to offer. We skipped lunch so we would be able to use the amenities before our massage. But when after we check in and had our robes on they let us know the steam room was not working. We then decided to use the jacuzzi we soon discover it also was not working! They normally offer 3 kinds of refreshing drinks and one champagne drink but again we found out only the "Calm" drink and champagne were available. It would have really helped to know that these things were out of order. I must say the massage was definitely a 5 star! And for this I may visit again. The women's locker room is very small and makes it difficult to change is there are more than 3 women in there. I must admit the aroma as you enter the spa is wonderful! If you need to take a day to indulge, do it here. No matter which service you get, you have access to the relaxing lounge, pool area, eucalyptus showers, steam room and a station to get ready for an evening out or just wash up after your service. They really pay attention to detail and leave you feeling pampered. I've been a regular at this spa for sometime. Service is excellent! From the time you park to the time you head out. I usually come for the "celebrate connections" package. This includes a 1-hour massage and 1-hour facial. Prior to COVID it also included a cheese and fruit plate. Which I completely miss! I have been here 3-4 times post COVID and have not seen this come back. Also, price on this package has gone up by close to $100. Probably due to inflation. Wow! So glad my husband surprised me with a couples massage for my birthday. This spa is absolutely gorgeous. Really amazing decor and customer service. It definitely has the 'wow' factor. Great place to host a party! The robes and slippers are wonderful. The robe is super soft on the inside with a satiny type fabric on the outside-my favorite. The couples massage room was spacious and cozy. We didn't want to leave. I had a relaxing massage with Jasmine. My husband had a deep tissue/sports medicine style massage with LaJuan. He said that the massage was very intense, but he felt so much better afterwards and would go back. So if you like more pressure/intensity, ask for LaJuan. Jasmine is definitely a better therapist if you want something that makes you feel relaxed and drowsy. The waiting rooms were beautiful. We received complimentary champagne and chocolate. They also had tea, water, fruit, and gingerbread cookies! Only negative would be the women's lounge. It is small with only two sinks to get ready. And it gets super hot with the steam room and hair dryers. It was 78 degrees and I was super warm. Overall, loved this spa. Planning on going with my mom and one of my friends in the future! But, the set up for my massage was outside. Damn you Covid-19! I didn't care. It was cute, relaxing, and everything I needed. My masseuse was Cynthia and she was so so good. Stingy about the champagne making it clear "you only get two and I'm writing your name down".
