I stopped by this boba shop and immediately loved the bright, welcoming vibe. Inside is clean, it's such a nice spot to just relax or grab a quick drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of boba options to choose from, so there's something for everyone whether you like classic milk teas or more unique flavors. I got the house milk tea and the thai tea float. Make sure you double check your online order. This is the second time I ordered Tiger Suger Milk Tea and they barely put anything in there. Had to ask them to add more tiger suger. Ridiculous. I love the boba drinks at It's Boba Time! My favorite drink here has to be the Strawberry Coconut Smoothie with boba! That's my go to drink! However all the drinks here are delicious! The boba are the perfect consistency, soft and chewy! Service is great! Staff members are nice and friendly! They are efficient and helpful! Ambiance is low key. TLDR: Slush is a sweet block of ice and boba is a hard, flavorless ball. It has been a long time since I've ordered a drink so bad that I didn't even finish it. I wanted to like their drink so badly that I managed to get through half of it before coming to the conclusion that it's really not even worth the calories. I got their kiwi slush with boba, and it tasted nothing like kiwi. It was really sweet, and it felt like a giant cylinder of ice thrown into some bright green liquid. It's possible that their other flavors are much better, but I'm not going to come back to find out. This place should change its name because the boba here is not good whatsoever. They serve medium sized boba that is cold, not very chewy, and flavorless. I've never had a problem like this at any other boba shop, so I found the experience to be extremely surprising. Keep in mind that I've ordered boba in slushes many times from various boba shops. I was expecting the boba to be warm enough to melt the bottom layer of the slush, but that seems absolutely impossible with the kind of boba this place serves. The good news is that parking here is easy and plentiful. The barista also made the drink pretty quickly. There was nothing really notably amazing or awful about the service. The strawberry yogurt is the best here! Other drinks I don't really care for. Tried and didn't enjoy. There's lots of tables and chairs to sit at and chat, but not that great for larger parties. The workers are not as friendly as other places but I'm sure that people give them a lot of shit for whatever reason. They also have macarons there for people that want extra sweets. read more

moved to the area last March from Fullerton, so we were bummed to not be close by to our favorite Boba place. Then we find out Boba time is just around the corner from our new house! I would say we have a bit of an addiction to milk, tea and this is probably our most favorite location since it's the only place you can get an extra large milk tea option. Boba time on La Palma never disappoints us. I've been to a few "it's boba times " but this was my first time at this one . Highly disappointed they don't allow for modifications on their slush drinks . I typically order a strawberry watermelon , and add guava and pineapple . Ive never been told that wasn't possible at other locations ... so I ended up trying something else and it was highly disappointing . Had no flavor tasted like blended ice with barely any watermelon . The staff was kind enough to replace it for me , so I appreciate them . This review is only to warn those who aren't prepared for the no modifications rule , but no ill will towards the friendly staff read more

Saw a dragon fruit smoothie on my friend's Facebook, so when I was in the area, I stopped in to get one and since I was visiting her, I also got a Pina Colada smoothie for her. Both were amazing and I was overjoyed to see all the other selections on the menu and the photos on the walls. Started up a chat about Hawaii, with the guy who was helping me, because I just got back and was still craving shave ice! I'm not sure what happened to this Boba Time, but my drink was more ice than anything else. I ordered one of my safe popular drinks Boba Time is known for, which is the Cookies and Cream Shake. I wasn't too satisfied because there wasn't enough milk, and my cookies inside wasn't totally mixed well. Too much ice which I barely drank half and threw away the heavier half of solid water. My friend ordered the watermelon smoothie with boba in it, which I thought was a bit watered down to the point where it was more bland. I understand it's not watermelon season yet, but come on! The boba was fine though. The other Boba Time locations I've been to is much better. The best one is still in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Their drinks are always well mixed and to the point. Unfortunately, this location needs to improve. I'm not saying they're mixing incorrectly, but probably needs more practice to build experience. Good luck! read more

This Boba Time location has sadly turned into a boba-lover's worst nightmare. They've swapped out quality ingredients for cheaper ones, and raised prices. Drinks are inconsistent, and they've become downright stingy with their matcha and oreo -- a BIG no-go. My Oreo Matcha Milk Tea was 95% milk, 5% matcha, and zero Oreo. I basically paid $7+ for a cup of overpriced milk. Even their signature Cookies & Cream was a letdown -- it literally tasted like iced milk. No cookies. No creaminess. No reason to come back.
