I've been to three Da Vien locations, and this one is the best so far. On my first visit, I ordered the banana matcha latte. The matcha was really smooth and not too sweet, and it paired perfectly with the banana cream. If you love matcha, this one is a must try. On my second visit, I got the banana latte. It was so good and the coffee was strong but not bitter like some Vietnamese coffees can be. It also wasn't overly sweet, and the banana cream was fluffy and creamy. Overall, it was a really satisfying drink. I've had this same drink at two other locations, and I have to say this Cerritos spot makes it the best version. The one thing I really appreciate about Da Vien is the consistency of their drinks. I feel like I always know what I'm getting when I go there. I'm typically a matcha girly, but I actually think the coffee here hits a little more than the matcha does. My go to drink at Da vien is the einspanner. I love that they add a little salt to the top to really bring out the flavor. All of the foams on top have such a nice consistency, very thick and not lacking in flavor. The workers here are generally pretty nice, have never had any issues. I've also never had any of my drinks made wrong yet. The only reason it isn't five stars to me is because I feel like the type of matcha they use isn't the best I've had, otherwise it's pretty good still. On the flip side- the foams are some of the best I've ever had (texture, taste) This place is very small and gets crowded, I wouldn't say it's a good place to hang out or study or do work. First time trying this Cafe. Ordered the Strawberry Milk Matcha and the Strawberry Cream Oat matcha - Both with Bobas. Both were excellent and one of the best matchas I've had ! Da Vien offers great deals all the time, feels like atleast once a week they are offering a BOGO on one of their popular drinks. 2 drinks for $6?? In this economy, idk how they're doing it but I'm oh so grateful! I've tried their banana matcha, coconut cloud matcha, egg cream coffee, marble drip coffee, and ube cream coffee. I definitely like their coffees much more than their matcha, however their coconut matcha was another level and I was so impressed, very refreshing! Banana matcha was not my favorite unfortunately and banana matcha is my go to drink, just not from here. As for coffee, my top is egg cream, then marble drip, then ube cream. The egg cream is just so creamy and velvety while still getting that big kick from the vietnamese coffee. Just tastes so authentic like I'm back in vietnam! They have a rewards program if you download the app but you'll have to spend around $100 before you can redeem anything. It'll take a while but again, the BOGO is the best deal ever, so understandable. This location, just like the Long Beach and garden grove spot is located in a plaza that is always has a packed parking lot so you might be circling for a while if you come during busy hours. Da Vien Cafe (in Cerritos) is becoming become one of my go-to coffee spots lately. The Vietnamese coffees are always strong and actually tastes like coffee. The matcha drinks are really popular too (I get the hype), and if you like less strong probably the new Marble latte. My favorite is still the egg foam coffee --- so custardy and smooth! It does get pretty busy, especially on weekends, but they have kiosks and online ordering which makes it way easier. The app reward program is okay --- takes a lot of "cubes" to redeem a free drink. The shop itself is kind of small, with about seven small two seaters tightly packed, so it's more of a grab-and-go place than somewhere you'd hang out for hours. The pick up counter and area for mobile pick is super cramped...so standing shoulder to shoulder with strangers is common. Hahaha Parking can be a little hectic during peak times, but nothing too crazy. read more

This location in Cerritos is very nice and clean. It's a vibrant and well lit atmosphere. I have become a big fan of Da Vien Coffee since I had tried them last year. The location has kiosk ordering with a handful of tables to sit back and relax or maybe even study or get some work done. I'd recommend getting the app to accumulate rewards points. This visit my wife and I ordered 2 Sesame Matcha Latte and these drinks were consistent with the quality of ones from other locations. Great service, I enjoyed my strawberry and banana matcha! My partner said that the banana had an artificial taste so he got a regular matcha on the house I would appreciate a heavier matcha/umami taste, but I'll try the double matcha next time. At the front entrance their is a large mobile order kiosk where you are able to customize your order or you are also able to order at the register. Since the shop was busy places the order on the Kiosk and waited for my beverage to be called, the wait time for the drink was reasonable and the drink at first sip was perfect but as I mixed my drink more I felt the coffee taste was darker than I anticipated and I had a hard time finishing my beverage. Stopped by mid-morning on Christmas Day (they we were open until 10pm!). They store was pretty busy, but drinks were made quickly (we waited not even 5 min after ordering). Staff was very pleasant and efficient at taking orders/making drinks. The banana matcha was really good! Loved the banana cream topped, which added some sweetness as you sipped on your matcha. I walked in here to catch up with a friend. I don't know if this is a new location ( I googled that they actually have several locations along OC and Long Beach) but it was packed upon walking it. Despite that, the baristas were quickly serving the coffee with a smile. I think it took a minute or two from the moment I placed the order to the moment I received the matcha. Additionally, there is a kiosk where you can place your order and it gives you detailed descriptions of the menu, the sweetness level, and If you'd like to add cream or more syrup (which is said absolutely not). I went for the banana cream matcha latte with 50% sweetness - I give this a 4 - I think they use artificial banana flavor because it reminded of the banana milk that comes in a pouch. It wasn't the best banana matcha I ever had. But, the matcha complimented the banana and my friend said it was good. Also the portion size was perfect for the $8. So, I'm not mad at it. My friend tried the egg cream coffee - it was creamy and tasted like a mocha - this was surprisingly good and I regret not getting it. I've basically become a regular here! I usually get the Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, Less Ice, and Egg Cream. I get Oat Milk because I feel like Whole Milk overpowers the matcha taste, and I get Egg Cream because it's light, fluffy, and it has a subtle sweetness that mixes so well with the Matcha Latte. If I'm not getting this drink, I get the Caramel Matcha Latte because the Caramel mixed with the Matcha Latte gives it an extra kick of sweetness. I've had the Matcha Einspanner a couple times, but it isn't my personal favorite because I find the cream in the Matcha Einspanner to be salty. I'm not a big fan of a salty cream with Matcha Lattes. The employees are always very kind. I usually order pickup from the Da Vien app because I don't want to stand around at the cafe and wait for my drink. The cafe is pretty clean, and there's tons of seating and tables. However, the seating fills up quickly because people study there. During more busier hours, there's a corner near the pickup area where people stand around. In order to avoid standing in this corner, I just order pickup. There's a self-ordering kiosk near the door of the cafe if you don't want to order with an employee. There's also lid stoppers near the straws at the pickup counter. Parking is usually easy because the cafe is so close to Target, and parking directly in front of the cafe is easy because people are always going in and leaving. I'm going to continue coming here because I love getting Egg Cream with my Matcha Latte, and the process of picking up my drink is always quick and easy! read more

Da Vien is a cute and very welcoming coffee shop specializing in authentic Vietnamese coffee as well as many other drinks. The interior is very modern, clean and bright. The customer service here is on point! I didn't know what I wanted or what to order but the employee was great at assisting me. I'm quite new to Vietnamese coffee but this seems to be the "IT" spot if you want a great one. I went with the DV Coffee which is Vietnamese Coffee topped with Einspanner Cream and Cocoa Powder. Their coffee is SUPER STRONG!! The drink itself was really good and the addition of the cream and cocoa powder added a little sweetness to it. It was so good that I had it two days in a row lol.
