There were 2 providers that serviced my area, "Ponder Pest Control (w/no reviews) & a bigger named company (with a lot of reviews & 4.5 rating). I requested information from both providers. Digging into each providers information individually, I noticed the "bigger named" company offered a 24 hour chat service! I reached out to them and they replied promptly. I was impressed with their immediate response and after a 10-15 minute chat, I was assured they would have someone follow up with me first thing in the morning. Well, I was confident that the "bigger named" company would be the one to reach out to me first and would ultimately get my business. I was wrong! Ben @Ponder Pest Control contacted me at 7:20am the following day! I requested an initial estimate and then if possible, service on the same day. He promptly responded and scheduled me for his next opening, at 11am, the same day. He was on time, extremely professional, knowledgeable & courteous. He didn't try to up-sale additional treatments that weren't required. He simply provided the service that was required to treat my issue. He scheduled me for 3 weeks out to follow up & offered to return should I need his service prior to the next appointment. I reached out to Rodent Retreat specifically because they are a local veteran-owned business, not a franchise. The whole team was amazing. I was able to schedule an inspection right away, and the gentleman who came explained different options to humanely remove the raccoon and prevent any other critters (including field mice and roof rats) from getting to the house. Based on the services I selected, they came back several times to repair the eaves, seal up possible points of entry on the roof and around the foundation, set rodent traps in the attic and garage, and sanitize the attic. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and polite, communication was exceptional, and pricing is very reasonable, especially given the high quality of service. They really went above and beyond. I highly recommend Rodent Retreat!

No complaints about the service and promtness of response. My complain is we paid $2500 for a "full…read moreexclusion" and what turned out to be 2 squirrels. 1 year warranty only. We feel the amount should have been adjusted to the gravity of the situation in our the attic. We regret paying this much for just a couple of squirrels which, by the way, were not taken away as I had assumed, but only pushed out. They are still running around out backyard and we know it's only a matter of time before they will be back in the attic (or else they would not push for a warranty extension).
