Bought my bed frame in 2017 and then unfortunately have had to move 3 times since then. Movers probably didn't reassemble well each time and the bed developed a squeak. I found it's not trash on Craigslist and loved the idea of using recycled wood, supporting a family run business and getting custom made furniture. I ordered a king sized bed for a new apartment I was moving into. You can choose the stain and custom options like a shelf or lights on the headboard. I like minimal furniture in my apartment and Nancy's design saved me money and space because I no longer needed side tables or a lamp. I wasn't sure what type of stain to order because my room is wood paneled but Nancy sent me pictures of my options (because stains can change color based on the wood) and I think the color turned out great. Nancy, her granddaughter and daughter in law showed up yesterday to deliver the bed and put it together. I was very impressed to see these three women carry the heavy headboard up my three flights of stairs! It is the sturdiest bed I've ever owned and they assembled it in my bedroom which made it easier to get into my bedroom. We had a couple of issues (the wood was cut too long, and the panels had to be rescrewed in), but Nancy and her family brought all the tools to make it right and they were a pleasure to be around. I commissioned a custom headboard made from reclaimed wood and I'm incredibly happy with what I got! I was so happy to find a place that recycles wood and makes such beautiful pieces. I went on their web site to see their gallery of stuff and fell in love with the style of their work. They get most of their wood from old fences that are being replaced and they have an amazing array of wood to choose from. I filled out the online form, and from there had a series of conversations about what I wanted. I also drove to their shop to see more examples and see where they made their stuff.
