    Fried roll & Pink Sauce

I really enjoy coming to It's Pho U, especially during lunchtime. It's become one of my go-to spots when I need a good meal but still have work to get done. The vibe is perfect for that--low pressure, relaxed, and easy to just sit down and focus while you eat. One thing I really like is that you can order right from the kiosk at your table. The staff still brings everything out and makes sure you're taken care of, but there's not a lot of back-and-forth unless you want it. After talking to people all day for work, I honestly appreciate that more than anything. That said, if you prefer a more traditional experience, they're happy to take your order too--I saw them do that for another table with no problem. I usually get the brisket pho, and it's always really good. This time I also tried a fried roll that came with this super pink sauce that I was honestly a little skeptical about at first--but it was so good. I ended up dipping everything in it, even my brisket. Definitely getting that again. Overall, it's just a really solid spot with good food and an easy, comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely keep coming back.

We came to try Pho here thinking we had been here before...we were wroGng. The interior is blah and boring with nothing on the walls. Looked like a cafeteria. They had menus out (see photos) and a contraption to order on (see photo). My wife ordered the N2 Char Broiled Pork and Fried Egg Roll Noodle Salad Bowl. I ordered the N4 Char Broiled Chicken Noodle Salad Bowl. Also ordered an appetizer A2 Spring Roll, which was only 1 for $3.55. We just ordered water for drinks and our waitress was quick to refill them. The Spring Roll was ok, but we've had better. When our Noodle Salad Bowls came we noticed there was a lack of Cilantro and the broccoli and cauliflower were not cut into bite size pieces and could have been fed to farm animals. The Salad Bowls were OK, but the sauces seemed watered down. I had to douse mine with Hoisin Sauce and Sriracha sauce to make it taste better. My wife was very disappointed with hers, but mine was ok and I finished it. I don't think we will be back.

I've been here several times. I thought I wrote a review.. mm. Oh well here it goes. Everything here is pretty good. You can order at the table now with a tablet that's attached to the table. Kewl. They just opened and are busy right away. That's great. Portions good and pricing not overpriced!! Today hubby had Viet salad/ side ofBanh Mi haha. I had the A-5 Pot sticker and spring rolls. Sooo good. The Banh mi is so fresh and crispy bread and pork is soooo yummy. Had to take half home. My appitizer plate good too. Taking one spring tool home.

    Dinner to go!

This Vietnamese restaurant is located in the Willows Shopping Center. There are multiple businesses available here. I've been here several times since 2016. I've had the following: -Pho (it's ok) -Fresh rolls (it's ok) -Banh mi sandwich (pork & chicken bbq (Yummy!) -Beef short ribs plate (Yummy!) -Vermicelli salad (pork, shrimp, fried roll) Yummy! -Fried roll (Yummy!) -Thai tea (Yummy!) -Chicken teriyaki plate (Yummy!) This places does get very busy and crowded at times. Service is always great. Some pictures are not available due to phone upgrade. My pictures are on the business page though. LOL!

I rated this one kind of on the high end. I think normally I would have probably given it one less stars. But the food was really good, not necessarily the pho broth but the meatballs were fantastic I love the egg rolls and potstickers and all the fried foods pretty much everything but the pho was great. The atmosphere was a little hole in the wall with really oddly placed tables. And the fact that they attach the ordering menus iPad thing to the table was kind of frustrating.

Our food arrived in less than 30 minutes and I'm sure that it being a Tuesday night helped as it's not usually a busy day/night. We just finished eating and I told my husband I'm writing a review so people know the food is quality. First off, I told my husband I'm hoping the pho broth tastes like grandma made it and it did. Very clear and flavorful broth -a bit heavy on the aromatic spices and I mean that in a good way. It tasted great. I ordered the shrimp pho and substituted for beef broth. Very delicious. I love that there was a to-go big bowl with the noodles so I could pour the broth directly in there. It was the size of a Korean instant noodle bowl and it did the trick. Bean sprouts were on the side. I didn't get the cilantro or jalapeños, but it tasted good enough that I wasn't upset. They did put in the green and white onions I requested and they were fresh. We also ordered the crispy chicken vermicelli and the box was quite full. They give you your money's worth, which I appreciate since so many restaurants short-change you on food quantity when ordering to-go. Not here! The chicken is crispy and not at all greasy. There was also a fair amount. Large pieces of fresh crisp cucumbers. Healthy amount of noodles. Overall, excellent. My husband ordered the gyoza/potstickers, walnut shrimp and rice --all appetizer sized and we are happy with the flavor and quality of all of them. Overall, definitely recommend! Great flavors, fresh food, and good value. We feel we got our money's worth. We will order from here again.

Unfortunately, after my soup…read morearrived, I asked for basil since I normally add quite a bit to my pho and was told they had run out that morning. I really wish they had mentioned that before I ordered. Basil is such an important part of the pho experience for me, and I think it would have taken an otherwise good bowl of soup to the next level. I also tried the egg rolls and wasn't a fan. Instead of being light and crispy, they were dense, not very crunchy, and fairly bland. The friendly service was definitely a positive, and the pho had good flavor, but the missing basil and disappointing egg rolls took away from the overall experience.

I used to receive Mom's vietnamese home cooking frequently and I lived near the Asian hubbubs with easy access to all the cuisine, but now I have to discover new places here in Washington to satiate my taste buds. Everything I've tried so far has been good. I've been content. But here!! I ordered takeout through Doordash, and as soon as I picked up my food, an aroma of so many flavors filled up my car. Parking is kinda annoying since it's on the street but I arrived within 30 mins of opening hours so it wasn't terrible yet. The restaurant already had at least a table or so, with customers, so I wouldn't be surprised if it got busier later. There's a fair amount of space and tables for hungry stomachs! The food was about ready by the time I arrived, and the 30 min drive home left me feeling famished and ready to dig in. Thankfully, I was not disappointed. Everything was packaged well so that nothing spilled during the car ride, and everything was so yummy! I ordered more than I originally intended... I was craving com tam (broken rice) and couldn't find a satisfactory place near my residence, so I drove all the way here to Tacoma.. and then I figured, I might as well order their Banh Xeo too! The photos online made it look so good, and it ended up tasting amazing! Slightly crispy and stuffed just enough with bean sprouts, meat, and other goodies. Perfect after drizzling some of the sauce over it. The Com Tam was also made well, and definitely hit my cravings with its classic ingredients. I ordered a Large Pho Bo Vien (meatball) for my son, and was sooo tempted to eat some myself. The broth smelled fresh and the noodles were cooked nicely. Decent portions for everything, too. I definitely need to return to try out more of their food. So far, it has made me one happy Viet gal :)

I don't live nearby, but I ended up grabbing a stamp card, so there's a good chance I'll come back eventually for the drinks alone. I ordered a chrysanthemum tea with boba along with a banh mi. The drink was probably the highlight of my visit since it was super refreshing, flavorful, and made pretty quickly too. Definitely quenched my thirst. The ordering process was a little awkward though. There was one guy working the front and I had a hard time hearing/understanding him at first (maybe he was speaking too quietly?), but it became easier once we switched to Vietnamese. He also didn't seem to recognize the drink I wanted even after I gave the menu number, so I had to point it out on the menu before he could ring it up correctly. I'm guessing he might've been new. The banh mi took longer than expected considering the place was empty, probably because from what I could see, there was only one lady in the back making food. Taste-wise, it was decent but nothing especially memorable for me, and the size felt smaller compared to other places I've ordered from. I think the banh mi only came in one size. Usually, I'd order a Large so maybe that's why this one seems small. There were at least a couple tables inside so I could sit and wait. I still had a good experience though and would come back mainly for the drinks because that chrysanthemum tea was genuinely really good. They have tons of options so I wanna try out their other drinks too.

Honestly, from the outside--and even when you first walk in--the place looks pretty average. The setup is simple, and the waitress (who also seemed to be the hostess and possibly helping with food prep) wore a black mask and wasn't overly chatty or outwardly friendly. But then the food arrived. And wow. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. The bánh mì was crisp and flavorful, the rice dishes were perfectly balanced, and the noodle soups were deeply satisfying--the kind of comforting, clean broth that tells you it's been done right. What really says something is this: we kept going back. Over the four days we were in town for the swim meet, this became our repeat spot. When you travel, you try many places--but when you return to the same restaurant multiple times, that tells you everything. It even comes with the standard pork hock and pork blood, I know a lot of restaurants may omit that. I can't recommend it enough, it's a must try!! It is a little on the spicy side though if you're sensitive to it, but it was perfect for me. The service here is quick, although the restaurant itself is a bit small.
