I really enjoy coming to It's Pho U, especially during lunchtime. It's become one of my go-to spots when I need a good meal but still have work to get done. The vibe is perfect for that--low pressure, relaxed, and easy to just sit down and focus while you eat. One thing I really like is that you can order right from the kiosk at your table. The staff still brings everything out and makes sure you're taken care of, but there's not a lot of back-and-forth unless you want it. After talking to people all day for work, I honestly appreciate that more than anything. That said, if you prefer a more traditional experience, they're happy to take your order too--I saw them do that for another table with no problem. I usually get the brisket pho, and it's always really good. This time I also tried a fried roll that came with this super pink sauce that I was honestly a little skeptical about at first--but it was so good. We came to try Pho here thinking we had been here before...we were wroGng. The interior is blah and boring with nothing on the walls. Looked like a cafeteria. They had menus out (see photos) and a contraption to order on (see photo). My wife ordered the N2 Char Broiled Pork and Fried Egg Roll Noodle Salad Bowl. I ordered the N4 Char Broiled Chicken Noodle Salad Bowl. Also ordered an appetizer A2 Spring Roll, which was only 1 for $3.55. We just ordered water for drinks and our waitress was quick to refill them. The Spring Roll was ok, but we've had better. When our Noodle Salad Bowls came we noticed there was a lack of Cilantro and the broccoli and cauliflower were not cut into bite size pieces and could have been fed to farm animals. The Salad Bowls were OK, but the sauces seemed watered down. I had to douse mine with Hoisin Sauce and Sriracha sauce to make it taste better. My wife was very disappointed with hers, but mine was ok and I finished it. I don't think we will be back. read more

Arrived around 5:30 PM on a Friday night. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. There was a good crowd, but still plenty of open seating. The interior is clean with wooden furniture and a relaxed, casual vibe. Each table has a tablet for self ordering, so there's no need to wait for a server to take your order. You can also add extra items and request the check directly from the tablet, which is very convenient. Food Once seated, the servers brought out water, utensils, and a plate of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and limes. The pho came out quickly, within about five minutes. I ordered the steak with tendon and tripe. The noodle portion was generous, and there was a solid amount of meat, making the price feel fair. The broth was slightly under seasoned in my opinion, but it's easy to adjust with the sauces available at each table. We also ordered a banh mi. The bread was soft yet still had a nice crunch, which I appreciated since many places tend to serve bread that is overly hard. Service Even with the self ordering system, the servers were attentive and efficient, bringing everything out promptly. Really sad to have to write this review since my husband and I would come here on dates when we were younger. The food is wonderful and it's always out fast but I don't appreciate how even when we don't talk to anybody they expect a tip. The atmosphere has totally changed, now they have you ordering off of tablets, almost fast food vibes. We didn't talk to a server hardly ever unless you count the time I asked for chopsticks, I tried ordering for them to bring me some twice but they either didn't pay attention or ignored it which was disappointing. I gave them a couple of bucks for a tip -it wasn't a lot but again no interactions- and after I had finished paying I waited off to the side to hear them talking bad about me for leaving such a small tip and being laughed at, I would've offered a better one had I had gotten better service. I rated this one kind of on the high end. I think normally I would have probably given it one less stars. But the food was really good, not necessarily the pho broth but the meatballs were fantastic I love the egg rolls and potstickers and all the fried foods pretty much everything but the pho was great. The atmosphere was a little hole in the wall with really oddly placed tables. And the fact that they attach the ordering menus iPad thing to the table was kind of frustrating. read more

The older lady was RUDE AF, why you ask, because my diet Pepsi tasted like bleach/cleaner and I told her. Wait was non-existent as it was a weekday so I showed myself to a table and was helped right away. Service was kind and quiet which is usually the case at pho joints. We go here all the time and order the same thing every single time. When we got home and opened everything up, it was the wrong order. The man said we need to bring it back now and can't take our name down to pick it up later. We went on our lunch break and had to rush all the way back. Horrible customer service! He was also saying that is what we ordered but we were on speaker phone for everyone else in the office to hear the conversation and clearly he made the mistake. This is one of the better pho places to eat at. I travel a lot and have had my share of pho and for me the one thing that stands out here is the broth. For me it is just perfect every time. I have never had bad service and while it is not a fancy place the food will make you feel like you are eating at one. Their fried rice, fried rolls, pho and vermicelli noodles are pretty delicious. Their spring rolls are good but are tiny for the price. Their service is good and fast, but also slow and awkward. They seem rushy and nervous too when they take orders. I also wished they mentioned if we have to stay in our seat or go to the register. My boyfriend gets up but others remain seated.
